I've been in the events industry for over a decade and a half... almost 30 if you count the years of riding my purple banana seat bike to the library to pour over bridal magazines and books! With a team of over a dozen gals, we help bridal couples with everything from month-of planning to full service and design.

Well, it's simple. I love my family, my country and most importantly my Savior. Joanna Gaines is my home inspiration. Amy Porterfield my business guru, and Hilary Rushford my personal design inspiration. OH... and Rachel Hollis???? She doesn't know she hasn't met her best friend yet!! :)

Amy and her team were incredible. Amy guided us through the planning process and made everything so easy. The stress of planning can be immense but I would love forward to my calls with Amy as she is so kind and fun and had a way of making me feel relaxed and enjoy the process. But also she's just so organized and on top of it that it alleviated much of the stress I had. Onsite, her team was amazing. All I really wanted was to enjoy the day and not have to worry about ANYTHING. I didn't think that was possible.... turns it out is! I have NO IDEA what happened behind the scenes but I know that I had such a great day and that all of our guests said everything ran so smoothly. One guest commented that ours was in the "top 10% of weddings" she's attended just based on how well executed it was. We cannot thank Amy and her team enough for allowing us to sit back, relax, and enjoy this one-day-in-our lives event!

They were perfect!
We had such an amazing experience with Amy and her team. We were working with a different planner initially, which ended up not working out for a host of reasons and we brought Amy in a few weeks out from our wedding day and they truly saved the day! Working with them was a pleasure and the software platforms they use helped keep things nice, neat and super organized. From our initial call through signing off after the wedding they were incredibly attentive and on top of all the details! We could not have imagined a better experience with a planner and we'd 100% recommend Amy and her team!

Absolutely Phenomenal!
Our wedding day turned out to be the best day of our lives and a huge part of that reason was because of Amy and her incredible team. Amy kept us on track (and calm) for our entire year and a half engagement process and she and her team were absolutely phenomenal the day of the wedding. Amy is so organized and made sure to discuss every detail with us so that our wedding would be what we dreamed of. She is very knowledgable about all things wedding and was very responsive to my wife's many texts, emails, and phone calls. She came highly recommended from our circle of friends and every expectation was exceeded! If you are looking at different planners, you can stop here because Amy Grace Events is the BEST!

Wedding Planning Team
I can't even begin to explain how amazing Amy and her coordinating team is! They made my husband and I's wedding into everything we dreamed of without any hesitation. I wasn't a bridezilla or anything but I showed Amy my wedding inspiration, it was mostly that rose pedal aisle every girl dreams about from Pinterest, and she was automatically like "Yes! I know the perfect team member to help with this!" And people... I walked down this gorgeous, better than Pinterest, rose pedal aisle. Even when I told her I was bringing in a very large tree for our unity ceremony she was all on board. Amy is extremely easy to talk to, very outgoing, and she has all of the connections in Santa Barbara. I love her ideas and her passion she has for her job. I never felt overwhelmed or stressed out when planning our wedding. Amy took a lot of that stress away. When our wedding day approached I had Natalie working our day. She *CLAP* is *CLAP* INCREDIBLE! That girl is fun and so energetic. She got everything done and did such an amazing job. Everything was better than I imagined. She always asked my guests and my husband and I if we needed anything and she was making sure everything was perfect all night. She's the one who put together my dream aisle. (See pics to see her amazing work). I just love this whole team they are seriously great people and they want your wedding day to be the best day of your life. Quality and personal service! Highly recommend!
Amy is AMAZING! She makes you feel like you are her only client in the personal treatment she provides. She recommended great vendors and ideas and kept me on track with planning. Day of, she handled all of the details so we were able to relax and enjoy our big day. I cannot recommend Amy enough - She is the best!

Amy and her crew are awesome!
I knew Amy was going to be our wedding coordinator the first time we video chatted. I felt like we were high school friends just planning a huge party that happened to be my wedding. Her and I both had the same level of organizational expectations which made working with Amy SO EASY! She kept me on track on where we should be in the timeline leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day she checked in to be sure we were doing okay and catered to my girls and made them feel special too! We DIY'ed our wedding which I know can be a lot and sort of scary to do but Amy helped to make sure that we had all the right pieces in the right places, and that we had thought of everything. The wedding day was smooth as could be! Not one complaint from anyone. The day went perfect! I am so thankful that we hired Amy and her crew! Thank you!!!

Perfect Planner for Unexperienced Brides.
Amy helped me plan and put together my wedding, and it couldn't have went better than it did. She was flexible with my obnoxious work schedule and accommodated my Husband and Mother in Law's as well when making times to meet and discuss important plans and steps of the process. Amy also offers an online planning course, which is a very unique way of allowing bride's not only budget accordingly, but plan a wedding their own special way, and provides videos with explanation and tips for every detail a bride is concerned with. I enrolled in the course and used her templates and videos as tools in my planning process and as a starting point to draw ideas/ inspiration from. Amy would often bring concerns and other questions to our attention that we didn't even consider in our planning process, which really helped us stay focused on what we were trying to accomplish. Overall, we were so thankful for her knowledge and professionalism. She is someone who is meant to do what she does, and it's to help plan amazing, but personal weddings for couples of all walks of life. We couldn't have had the most amazing day that we had without Amy and her team, and we highly recommend her!! :)

Exceptional Wedding Planner
First, let us say unequivocally that Amy is a phenomenal wedding planner and was a critical factor in making our day run extremely smoothly from start to finish. She straddled the fine line between friendliness and professionalism, knew when to jump in with fresh ideas and when to just let us go in the direction we wanted.
At first we were not going to have a wedding planner, but the deeper we got into it, the more complex we realized a wedding can become – even a relatively simple one. Amy came on-board about 3 months before the wedding day. We had already booked many of our vendors, including the venue, DJ, and photographer, and we had also chosen our invitations. You would think that most things were falling into place, but we wanted someone on hand to handle all of the little day-of-event details so that we could focus on our own roles, speeches, and enjoying the day with family and friends. As my wife put it, we wanted someone, “walking around with a clipboard,” to keep everything on track and handle any problems that might come up. Amy and her team (there were two key assistants, Uli and Tori) did all of that, and more.
We had three separate Skype meetings with Amy in the weeks leading up to the wedding, nailed down the time line and worked through the unfinished items, some of which had not even occurred to us. Not only was Amy extremely detail-oriented, but she was also quite brilliant in adding some really nice touches to our initial plan, including an awesome photo booth and after-dinner hour in the lounge. In addition, her intimate and long-term relationship with our venue helped contribute to keeping everything running smoothly throughout the day and evening. In short, she and her team met and exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Amy is incredible! There are not enough amazing things in the world that I can say about Amy. She was so fun to talk to throughout the whole planning process and knew so much about the wedding industry. She worked with the majority of my vendors and knew everyone at the venue SO well! She was ON POINT the entire wedding day making sure we stuck to the timeline. I was not stressed at all knowing Amy and her team were handling everything exceptionally well. I felt so comfortable with her from our first phone call and was so sad to say goodbye to her at the end of our wedding night. Thank you for everything and making our day perfect :)

We chose Amy Grace Events, initially, because they were the most reasonably priced wedding coordinators in town. Best. Decision. Ever. From start to finish, throughout our wedding planning process, Amy and her team exceeded our expectations.
In the months leading up, Amy checked in via email, and we had a few video meetings to go over necessary details. Amy is so personable and friendly! Every chat felt like a conversation with an old friend — yet she demonstrated the utmost professionalism. As far as tasks go, Amy is proactive, extremely detail-oriented, and always seems to be one step ahead. With my busy schedule, this is something that I really appreciated.
During my wedding week, I met Amy’s team, and they were just as awesome! Our day-of coordinator, Jenni-Elise, was an absolute godsend!!! Her and her assistant, Tori, did an amazing job of making sure that everything ran smoothly, and that every detail was taken care of. Of course, there were a few random mishaps (example: we were short 3 floral arrangements), but Jenni and Tori handled everything and made sure that I had nothing to worry about on my big day. Plus, they were such a blast to hang out with!! I am SO grateful that they were there with me on the most important day of my life! Our wedding was beyond perfect because of them. :) We will cherish these memories forever.

Amy and her team are amazing to work with!!! She is extremely professional, detail oriented and has a great eye for design. I worked with Amy and her staff on a Santa Barbara wedding where the room needed to be flipped after the ceremony. Her team worked graciously and seamlessly and everything and everyone worked together to create a beautiful wedding. The bride and groom and all of their guests enjoyed a lovely event thanks to Amy!
Amy was great at her job - we certainly had our work cut out for us with a substantial amount of requests from the bride and groom - she was able to coordinate everything in a timely and effective manner - without losing her cool or straying from the bride and groom's vision.
