Alice was a dream-come-true to work with and a master of her craft! She was an amazing listener as we told her what we were hoping for in regards to our ceremony and with the help of her well-prepared questionnaires, she was able to build a personal, thoughtful, unique, and truly beautiful ceremony. She had an excellent set of readings and vow examples as well, that really helped my husband and I find exactly what we were looking for that was the most meaningful to us. We were over the moon with how our ceremony turned out in practice and on our wedding day!!

During the ceremony, Alice was an exceptional orator. She read with an intentional, confident tone and captured the audience effortlessly. She made it obvious and easy for the readers to know their cue, and she was very professional and fluid with our prompts for our vows and I-Dos. Even when one of our taper candles started to smoke uncontrollably during the ceremony, Alice was poised and flexible, took care of it, and kept everything on track and running smoothly - she responded perfectly!

It was such an honor to work with her and we will remember how special and personal our ceremony was for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with her!

My now wife and I are together over 10 years. We have a great relationship, but neither of us ever really dreamt of the big wedding with all the bells and whistles. We started thinking of the ceremony about two weeks before our chosen date, really more as a celebration of our long lasting love. Our plan was to have a quick YES I DO with two witnesses and be over with. After we found Alice, we started feeling differently. Alice led us to the realization that this is a special moment and an amazing step in our lives and she made us feel humbled from how beautifully she spoke of the ceremony. Alice definitely brought out the excitement in us and was extremely helpful with choosing the right location for us. When we first arrived to the location Alice recommended, we fell in love with the place and were amazed at how she could know what would be the perfect spot for us without ever meeting us in person. On the day of the ceremony, there was Alice, this lovely person who brought calmness and love to the initial chaos. Having her there felt like having a family member. We will be forever grateful we were this lucky to meet Alice, a person who cares and who truly wants to make your wedding day a special moment to be remembered in the sweetest way.

Alice Soloway could not have been a better choice to officiate our wedding. We were coming to NYC to elope and so had to rely on the internet to find an officiant and were so happy we found Alice. She went above and beyond with some ideas on where and how to have our ceremony, and she wrote the most beautiful vows for us that captured our relationship and our hopes for the future together perfectly. We are a same-sex couple and Alice made us feel 100 percent comfortable! Alice was a joy to work with.
