1908 Grand is a luxurious and upscale wedding venue in the heart of downtown Gainsville, Florida. Named after the year it was originally built, this historic setting has been carefully restored and renovated to maintain its rich roots. Our central downtown location, elegant interior, and dedicated staff will turn any couple's wedding day into an unforgettable celebration.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples will have three different event spaces to use at 1908 Grand. Our beautiful courtyard can serve as a ceremony location, cocktail hour space, or host your dinner reception under the stars and market lights. The downstairs room features a classic elegance to host your cocktail hour, dance party, or rain backup for your ceremony. Large windows will surround you and your guests for a bright, airy atmosphere. Eight delicate chandeliers hang above original hardwood floors for a picturesque aesthetic. Two wall-mounted TV screens are also present for slideshows or wedding monograms.

Located on the second floor is a breathtaking ballroom with plenty of space for guests to dine and dance. A built-in backlit onyx bar, DJ booth, and elevated stage are also present and offer unique features you won't find in other venues. This space can also serve as an alternate ceremony location.

You and your wedding parties will love getting ready in our elegant bridal suite and groom's room, where you can prepare for the big day in comfort and style.

Services Offered

Couples will have exclusive access to the entire venue during their celebration. Chairs and tables will be provided for both indoor and outdoor events to meet your needs. The onsite event team will connect you with their trusted vendors to help organize your dream day. They also handle setup and teardown, giving couples plenty of time to spend with their loved ones.
