The Glass Factory was built in 1936 by Henry Klutho, an American architect known for his work in the “Prairie School” style. He helped in the reconstruction of Jacksonville, Florida after the Great Fire of 1901—the largest ever urban fire in the Southeast—by designing many of the new buildings built after the disaster. The Glass Factory building was commissioned by the Pittsburg Plate Glass company.

I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at The Glass Factory last year and basically the perfect way to sum it up is I hope I get to shoot another one there! It is an absolutely wonderful venue with tons of natural light and exposed brick. The venue space is huge so it can accommodate anything you're looking for and Kara and Haley are wonderful to work with! Definitely recommend this venue for your wedding!
