Wedding Shoes help!
Hello Ladies, and thank you Kathy, for reminding me of shoes! I'm in a slight predicament..I am going bare foor for our outdoor ceremony at my parents house, then I will be slipping on shoes after that..I can't decide on what type of shoe to wear, I was told by a bridal salon consultant that if I want to go barefoot, I have to have flats for after, because I will be tripping over my dress outside for the ceremony, I had originally planned just to get a pair of low heel open toe shoes, but am having trouble finding some I like! Is it really that big of a deal if I go bare foot and then put on shoes that are and inch or slightly more? THe shoes my mom wants me and my maids to wear are these ones:

the color should be Palomino (last color black on chart)
They are super comfy, but I feel they don't really go with the dress..and they don't have a super thick bottom, so it would kind of be like walking/dancing barefoot..HELP!

very cute. As soon as I saw your dress I thought ballet flats would be the best look if you are going barefoot for the ceremony. You don't want the hem too long for that and then put on heels and have the dress be that far off the ground.

Personally, I think it would be better to have your shoes showing than to trip over your dress. Those are cute flats.

I love them! You could also do something like this: http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/onlineProductDisplay.vs?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=EF-255322&cgname=OSKEYPNKZZZ&rfnbr=1210&atp=a

I wouldn't worry too much about which shoes to wear, though. In the end, it's such a small thing :) And by the way, your dress is absolutely gorgeous!

If the shoes you end up buying have only 1 inch heels then it shouldn't be a problem to walk barefoot for the wedding, 1 inch difference in the hem shouldn't hurt. But if you had your dress hemmed for 3 or 4 inch heels and then walked barefoot for the ceremony, you may have a little trouble, you might not trip, but the hemline of your dress would drag and might get really dirty.
