I have heard good reviews of lightinthebox though I don't know about aphrobridal. I can ask around and let you know. I also like peridress.com though I haven't purchased from them. They seem legit though and I am seriously considering it.

I really like the thought of wholesale, because alot of them custom tailor and sail plus-size, which I am plus-size. Haha. So finding dresses that are afforable and beautiful in my size is always a plus.

I read good things about lightinthebox also and I'm considering ordering from them too! If you do the search and put in lightinthebox then it will bring up previous posts that mentioned the site. The only thing is that you would have to order your dress real early and order a larger size than what you are. I haven't heard of aphrobridal though. If you order from either of them let me know!! :-)

I got my dress from I think it was Korea. I was a bit nervous until it came in. I had some minor adjustments to make but I got it on ebay for $100 shipped. I just sent them my measurements and it all went from there and I loved my dress.

I just came across that AphroBridal site myself and I'm wondering the same thing.

I am curious about aphrobridal.com as my bridesmaids are all over and $$75 cheaper than in the bridal shops...Please let me know if any of you ordered from there and what the outcome was!! Thanks!

Ordered my dress last night on Aphrobridal.com...I sure hope everything goes smooth! Will let ya know! I was nervous too because I couldn't find any reviews on them, but they seemed legitimate.

I just came across your post. Please update us how the dress was, please! I can't find any reviews anywhere, Yours would be the only one.
I am not sure whether to risk ordering a dress... I emailed them a week ago to ask about material and pictures used, but still no answer.

I too, would VERY much love a review of aphrobridal! Am thinking about ordering 7 bridesmaid dresses from them. Would be nice to have some review, or testimony as to their legitimacy, fabric quality, etc.

well i orderedmy dress jan 27 got it march 1st it is perfect i lovew it just like the pic and i did the custom measuringn it fits great i would def buy from them again and the fabric is great the dress is just like if i bought it at a dress shop it is really beautiful

Ordered my dress from Aphrobridal on 31st January, sent the odd e-mail every couple of weeks to check on it and got a reply the following day saying it was in tailoring, then it was almost finished and would be with me shortly. Arrived 2nd March - 31 days in total!!! Packaging was a bit crushed, but nothing a day in a steamy bathroom wont sort out. Dress is beautiful and mum nearlly cried, so definately worth the risk of buying from China. And about £1500 cheaper than an alternative from one of the wedding shops! Definately recommend from my personal experience.

i too came acroos aphrobridal.com and fell in love with loads of dresses not too sure about ordering though only seen one good review ill keep an eye on other reviews before i make my mind up xx

I am very interested in Aphrobridal but nervous. I want to order 8 bridemaids dresses from the site as I fell in love with most of them.Any one have pictures of the dresses that were received from Aphrobridal?

Rachelle, are they true to size or should I order a size larger. I am not going to do the custom tailoring, just in case I want to return it. It says you can't return it, if you have it customized.

i did the custom ordering so it fits me perfect so as far as their sizes i dont know sorry i couldnt help

Review Aphrobridal
Just to make everyone aware, I ordered a flower girl dress from this company for my little girl. Due to the fact that it is a Chinese company it did take approx 6 / 7 weeks for the dress to arrive. When it did arrive, it was beautiful.
Ensure you pay with paypal for protection, but I would recommend this company, the dress is outstanding.
