Undereye Circles.....HELP
So, I still have aways to go until my wedding, but thought I should probably try to do something about the occasional under eye circles I have. Some days they are not bad, and others they are almost puffy and dark, where I occasionally get "are you tired today??" I HATE IT! Please help! Let me know any suggestions you have - trying to keep it reasonable, because I think a dermatologist would just be way to pricey!

Also I am starting to note fine lines on the side of my eyes -- Just wonderful!! Dont we just love aging! Any suggestions for these fine lines. I was in the stores today and saw University Medicine Wrinkle Free Eyes (http://www.universitymedical.com/ump ) Has anyone tried this or something else that works???

All suggestions welcome....Thank you

hi there

well i know that its essential to wear eye cream at night..usually with a serum underneath ..keeping the area moisturized helps reduce or prevent fine lines and wrinkles..for darkness.. they have creams that claim to help dark circles.alot of choices out there.i like laura mercier eye creams and serums..but utilizing them at bedtime is the best thing..thats when your skin does all of its rejuvinating ect... getting extra rest helps alot and using a good concealer..one on the creamier side rather as it will sit on top of the skin rather than seeping into fine lines around the eyes...also eye brighteners help alot but on top of the concealer rather than underneath seems work better...Yves st Laurent makes a nice eye brightener..and so does laura mercier..but if your on a tight budget check out different products at walgreens like revlon or Loreal..which is the equivelant of lancome basically...email me if you want to ask anything else privately.. mizzlori33@yahoo.com

I haven't tried it, but I've been told it works... slice a raw potato (like you would a cucumber) and place it over your eyes for a mask.

How about good old fashioned trick with Prep-H? I know it doesn't sound all that pretty, but it supposed to work.

I have dark circles also. It runs in my family. One thing I could definitely live without!

Clanique makes an eye moisturizer that I used to use that I think works but I am bad about doing things consistently. MAC also does one that again I think works but I am not consistent.
.
I use bare minerals with a small stiff brush for under eyes and blemishes and then a bronzer brush to apply to the rest of the face. Also MAC peachy corrector and also the one that is in the glass pot with a black lid works well too. The creamy one that comes in the same container as eyeshadow covers up black eyes even but can be a bit thick if you are wanting a natural look. Stop by your local MAC counter and they will totally do a test run on you to see if you like it. Tell them that you want to see if you still like it later and ask for a card. I'm almost positive they work on commission so don't use their time and then buy from someone else :)

Try not to try too many new things before the wedding. I personally like this product. Stop by a sephora and ask for a sample to try

I also have severe dark unders eye circles. One thing that I did do and noticed quite a change, was Icut salt out of my diet. If id did ever use any, it was a very little amount, that seemes to help, But since I did that, I started to use salt again...lol, I thought about trying 'hydroleze' But I will try the sliced potato thing..If I get the hydroleze, I will let you know..

My sister sells AVON and because she said it works, about a week and a half ago, I started trying AVON's line of Anew Anti-Aging Regimen, "Reversalist" and their undereye product "Solutions". AVON Claims their ANEW line provides the same results as many of the higher department store products. I didn't believe the undereye product would work, however, I am surprised! I had so much puffiness and discoloration. I can deal with the puffiness, but the dark circles seemed to "highlight" the puffiness and under eye bags. So far, it seems like it is working. I am using the product night and day (I confess I was taking care of my skin like I should have at night)

Trish is right, I wouldn't do too much right before my wedding. If something happens, you need time to "get back to normal". Take care!
