Couples getting married on May 15, 2027

I decided to go with cornflower blue for our wedding. Now I can start getting ideas and inspiration.

I really like the look of greenery with the blue.

I’ve been ordering samples from different companies for the bridesmaids. I also found a dress on Amazon and now I’m thinking that it might be pretty to do a floral pattern. 🤔

I keep going back and forth between color palettes. 🤪 I was pretty set on cornflower blue but I can’t stop thinking about doing yellow and gray like I originally wanted. 🤔

I love this color for the girls dresses.

I’m planning to diy as much as possible for our wedding and if we go with the yellow color I was thinking something like this and an early afternoon lunch reception.

So fabric samples are coming in the field of options for our wedding colors is shrinking. From Kennedy Blue I got slate, deep sea, cornflower, sky and mint.

Now that I see the cornflower in person I don’t like it. It looks like a purplish periwinkle color that I don’t care for. The slate and the deep sea are way too dark. Sky is okay but it looks a little more gray to me than I’d like. Mint is definitely the winner out of the Kennedy Blue samples. I’m still waiting on David’s Bridal and Birdy Grey samples.

Sky looks blue on its own but when you put it next to anything I think it just looks gray.

I got bridesmaids dresses from David’s Bridal at a reasonable price.

The samples from Birdy Grey arrived. Lemon sorbet is my top choice from them. My other top pick so far is the mint from Kennedy Blue. Once the samples from David’s Bridal arrive we’ll make our final decision. 😊

Cool. That is a pretty color. Whatever color you choose will be pretty.
