Selling a dress

Anyone know a good site to sell a dress other than ebay? My plans went from formal to destination and the dress just doesn't work now. It's a sample - never been altered.

Well, there's always craigslist. Other than that, preownedweddingdresses.com is another place you could look into. Too bad we don't have a classified section here on weddingwire.

Have you considered donating your dress?? You can often donate your wedding dress to causes that either sell it at a discounted rate to not only help someone who can't afford an expensive dress and use the money for the charity...or donate it to a place that gives away wedding dresses/prom dresses to girls that cannot afford them. That way you're doing something good and it's a tax deduction. You can find both national and community organizations that will take the dress...I like the community option because then you know it's going to be enjoyed by someone in the community. Otherwise if you're set on selling it I only really know of the standard sites like the ones previously mentioned. :)

Sometimes there is stores with in your city that buys dresses. I think some are called "recycled clothes"
