Reception tables
When putting together my tables I have exactly 8 tables full. So do I set another table for extra guest, also I not sure where the photogapher will sit.

Usually, all the vendors sit at a table together. the photographer, band/dj, How many people are on your invite list? If there is many and a lot of them rsvp no, some will still show up, I would do 1 or 2extra tables, and if you only serve your photographer, he/she can sit at one of the extra tables..

Are you doing a seating chart or open seating? If you are seating them then I wouldn't worry about an extra... If not, I'd add 1 extra table at least if not 2 so that people can mingle and seat as they choose

vendors sit wherever. pending on your venue, they fit a sit in the foyer or whatever, so I won't worry about them. Extra guests... not good. remember, if you are having it at a hotel or catering house, most will not allow you to over seat - you have to pay for each chair. Find out from your venue their policy on over seating

Most vendors don't sit anywhere or don't sit where they can be seen eating, so I wouldn't set a place for them. The extra guests may squeeze in if possible, but if its more than 3, its time for the extra table. I know - its a pain once your room is all laid out and the seating chart is done, but poeple will mingle about and take the extra seats. "Surprise" guests can also fill in there.
