We aren't! No need to - our first dance song is only like 2 minutes long!

We are not... Just traditional slow dance... he might spin me a few times but thats as fancy as we get! hahaha!

lol Kristen..thats where FH and I are at too...our friends are taking the first dance very seriously, so got me thinking if I was one of the few who doesn't bother taking lessons to look showy!

We didnt and although I know to some people it just seemed like a dressed up version of a junior prom, we just swayed back and forth, thats all my DH could do and I was happy with that!

We aren't. Part of me wants to so we aren't just swaying back and fourth but it's just one more thing that costs money that is VERY low on our list of priorities.

FH refused. I actually had won 3 free lessons but I gave them away...

we aren't but I wish we were - FH loves to dance but he's like a bull in a china shop and I can never keep up with him - still it really is nice to have a guy who likes to dance so I will never complain!

Not us we will practice at home. I think it will be a waste. Hopefully he doesn't decide to do his signature move, then im screwed lol

no we are NOT..ours is a slow song..but fh should learn not to go in so many circles when we dance..hes like the speed slow dancer..lol,,

That's $200 I'm putting towards the bar tab. I'm sure the guests would each prefer 1 more drink over us knowing how to do a special dance. :)

We are not either. FH doesn't have time....very busy working, plus we are just practicing at home.

We're not. If I had a ton of extra money, I would love to be able to do a dancing with the stars type dance to my favorite singer, matt nathanson's song Faster. But that would take many, many, many dance lessons and probably a dress change and that is just not going to happen.

We did take lessons BUT.... We did not have a dress rehearsal with me wearing my dress and it was too long to dance around in! When I waltzed back I stepped on my dress and FH stepped on the front. After a few bars of our song we just gave up on our routine and just high school slow danced. Sigh.

We did one 30 minute lesson because I got an email from an Arthur Murray studio that the first lesson was free, so we figured no harm in going. After that, however, they wanted $75 for 45 minutes and suggested at least 4 lessons. It was somewhat useful for teaching us the very basics, but we'll take it from there. Way too much money to spend on a 3 minutes dance.
