even more ticked!!

I recently posted about our local bridal shoppe selling my veil to another bride. Well... they ordered the wrong one! Then when I said it was the wrong one they told me they would order the right one and have it over nighted. Well it's a month later and a week before my wedding and "it" came in today. When I asked about it they said "well, they quit selling that veil, so we ordered a blank one and we are doing the bead work ourselves." But they've been telling me they ordered in the right one! Also, my flower girl dresses came in today too. They were ordered in june, just now got here. But one came in the wrong size, aparently the company ran out of that dress in a size 6 so they sent one in a size 10 so they could just alter it. I said well it better be done quick and with no extra charge and they said ok. I decided to make sure they were the same color. Nope they weren't. So they stole the same dress from another bride and said if she notices then we'll fix it. cont.

her wedding isn't for another two months." Part of me was saying I can't do that to another bride and then a bigger part of me said well they did it to me. My bridesmaid dresses are late and they arent supposed to be here until monday, 5 days before my wedding. I am so mad.

What??!!! That sounds like a disaster! I admire the fact that you are as calm as you are - I would have had a breakdown long ago!! My advice? Go BRIDEZILLA on them. This is UNACCEPTABLE - your veil and all your alterations should be FREE. You should demand that they should throw in other free stuff as well (shoes, tiara, anything you can think of.) Once it's all over, I would also definitely post some very public negative reviews about them so that other brides don't make the same mistake of ordering from them in the future. Yeah, that's crazy. I agree with yadayada. You should go nuts on them. I'd demand everything for free and then post an extremely bad review on them, making sure to note the fact that they practically stole your veil, gave it to someone else, and now they're going to "steal" from someone else to compensate you. What terrible business!!! If this place happens to be a chain, please feel free to share the name so I NEVER give them my business. I really commend your sense of calm in this matter. My friends call me the anti-brizedilla, but in that case, I'd be throwing a tantrum.

I agree with Carmen and yadayada on what you should do. That is just Ridiculous!!!!! I would have gone crazy on them when this first started lol

wow i would ask for refunds on like everything you can b/c they are screwing up everything and everything is late and not recomed them to anyone and then report them to the b.b.b if i were you

I agree with everyone else. I'd have a huge bridezilla moment in the store. Then I'd go home and post very honest reviews of them.

It's not a chain or anything. It's a local store but my dresses are Alfred Angelo. Has anybody else had any issues with Alfred Angelo being late or is it just the incompetence of the local store. My FFIL works with the husband of one of the owners and I guess they had quite the heated conversation about it. I have a lot of people who are sticking up for me and being the "Mother of the Bridezilla" or "father of the groomzilla" haha.

This is a terrible situation to be in!! Thank goodness they're at least trying to fix things and not charging you. I feel like you should get some kind of compensation for all the mess though. Yahoo and Google also allow you to do reviews even if the business isn't a chain. Other brides need to be aware of this situation.

they don't open until 11 today. I will be at the store when they open, and I will wait all day until my dresses get there. I am really happy that the dresses don't need to be altered at all.

I just checked your profile to see if you were near me so I don't go to this place and fortunately for me you aren't but I'd be so livid this was happening I'd be like "This is absolute horse $h!t and you all know this. I have been with this store the whole time of my planning and then to get treated like this? Are you kidding me? I am so disappointed!" get what you can out of it, (seems low kinda but not for what you're going through) and then as you leave "I am never recommending this place to ANYONE." slam door -End scene- Kind of bridezilla/maternal. haha. Haha

my dresses got in on time and they are perfect! they got my veil done, it's not quite what I wanted it but it will do. I am going to pick it all up today, so everything turned out ok. I just wish my wedding planning would of been a bit more enjoyable.

if your dress needs to be alted go somewhere else never go back there and don't let anyone else that you know go to that shop
