Back to square one...
So I thought I was made in the shade with the BM dresses I picked out. Well, the one BM that ordered it, it doesn't fit her. (She ordered the biggest size they carried) They were WAY to short and just not a good choice for bigger girls. So, the search begins again for BM dresses.

Do these look good for a dressy casual late June wedding? This is one of the dresses that said BM asked me to look at.

Any ideas for what kind of shoes they should have? (FLATS ONLY!) The ground in at the ceremony site is VERY soft and heels sink VERY easy.

That is a pretty choice for a BM dress, especially if you are going for dressy casual. The length looks good and I think a bigger girl would feel very comfortable in it! As far as a shoe choice goes, I would also suggest some flat strappy sandals, either satin or with black sequin embellishment. If you did want a bit of a heel, a short (1/2' - 2") heel would be ok as long as it is very thick. Are your colors black and red? Happy planning! Let us know what you finally decide :)

These aren't completely flat, but they have a super short heel that's the width of the shoe itself. Shouldn't sink. Also, I speak from experience when I say that Demonia's last for-ev-er! They're the most comfortable and sturdy shoes I've ever worn. I have quite a few of their boots and heels for work (dancer). This particular site is shipping from the UK I think, but you can find them in the US no problem, I'm sure. Just search the name of them. Oh, and that dress is adorable. I love it!

the dress from fashion bug is really cute! i feel like maybe if you got something in just a solid color it'd be "more dressy" looking? but if you were wanting a print, than i mean.. either way, its a really cute dress! also.. i've bought flats from this site before.. if you keep your eyes peeled you can usually find some cute/cheapish ones in the sale section! also, check out their sandals, i'm sure they have something there that would work for your BMs and since its june.. that might work out for you..

I believe spring shoes is an Aldo affiliate.

Love the dress. I think it works. I hate the way my legs look in flats. I would probably opt for a wedge. It wouldn't have a point to sink into the soft ground.
