Honestly, DJ Dave was the best decision we made for our wedding. He was so professional about everything. He coordinated with the other vendors to ensure everything was happening at the right times. He had an awesome setup that provided amazing lighting and sound for the dancefloor. And he’s honestly just the chillest dude ever. If you need a DJ for anything, you’d be stupid to not go with this man. Couldn’t be happier with our experience.

We had an excellent experience, the employee that delivered and set up our facilities was kind and patient with us. GPS took him to the wrong address, which was a narrow dirt road, and he was able to navigate his way through that area over to my location, then took the time to strategically place the unit in the best position for our needs. He took extra care making sure that the ramp was perfect and there were no rough edges for our guests to get caught on. I would definitely recommend this company in the future.

I absolutely could not write this review fast enough. If you are hiring an event planner, particularly for your wedding, in the Boston area, look no further. Shay (Harken Events) absolutely nailed every segment of our amazing wedding. We planned for 10 months and at a fairly high-level of spec, including furniture rentals, lighting, and having a three day event at multiple venues. She was calm, cool, and collected the entire time with incredible organizational skills - reminding us of things we didn't think of like event insurance. She had an incredibly detailed spreadsheet of what needed to be done, by who, and when. On the days approaching our wedding so many people ask if I was stressed out (I am wildly Type A )and I said no -- because Shay's got it under control. We also hired amazing professionals in all of the other vendor areas. Shay paid so much attention to detail including things like sourcing Turkish baklava For my Turkish husband (Middle Eastern or Greek wouldn't suffice)). She picked up tasting boxes from the bakery in Gloucester. She attended and took notes on all our tasting meals. She received each of the millions of shipments to her house since we live in California. She was on every call with the lighting team and the caterers. She was absolutely on point every second of the wedding weekend, whether to organize snacks in the bridal suite, time everyone walking down the aisle, reassure me not to worry when I thought we were running late, or to send an assistant to fetch my more comfortable shoes for dancing. Every moment of the wedding weekend went off without a hitch again (in part due to the professionalism of all of the vendors, but also largely due to Shay. She is the absolute pinnacle of wedding planners in New England. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My partner and I have been together for 15 years. We both had big weddings for our first marriages and really never planned on getting married again. As our children got older, job changes and life circumstances played out we decided let’s just do it! We applied for our marriage license and they suggested names of JPs. I did a quick search on the internet and found Curtis and saw his fantastic driveway way ceremony! Exactly what he wanted, no frills, just a simple….very simple ceremony. Then I looked at the recommendations from the town hall and what did you know you, he was on the list! Scheduling was very easy, the day and time I chose worked for him. His instructions were also told to me over the phone and text. He clearly had a sense of humor and I immediately knew this was a great fit!!! I let him know that my son and my mom would be in the car with us and they had no idea that we were getting married. He loved it! He came out doing a little “zazzle dazzle” as he called it and our “guests” had no idea what was happening! It was fun and honestly my mom was still talking about it the next day! I am very grateful that Curtis offers such a simple wedding experience right in our own town! Thanks again, Curtis!! A+!!

Fay is the best! She altered my dress and designed a cathedral veil for my May wedding. Fay is professional, knowledgeable, flexible and friendly. She was able to take my complicated, beaded-bodice, tulle skirt ball gown in 2 sizes, adjust the bust line, remove unnecessary boning, add additional hooks and create a custom veil all for a VERY reasonable price. She also altered 6 (I'm not kidding!) of my bridesmaid's/family member's dresses as well. My family and I are big fans of Fay! I highly recommend Fay Carraher!

Words are not enough to describe how wonderful they were at our wedding. I would say they were "Phenomenal"!!!

For my wedding favors I was having Tiffany blue 2" boxes to go with my theme. I wanted to find a large chocolate truffle to fill the boxes to reflect the "wine and chocolate ceremony" that was part of our wedding. I live in Las Vegas but travel constantly so when I say that I tried truffles all over the country, I am not kidding. The problem was that every truffle I found that was big enough, tasted lousy. I had almost given up and went with a more traditional candy (m&ms), but then my sister took my to a bakery in Boston to "pig out" In celebration of my wedding dress being way too big. They carried these amazing truffles and were nice enough to give me the contact info for Dante's. The owner was super nice when I called her and told me she could even make the truffles in any flavors I wanted if the 20 or so stock flavors were not what I wanted. I ended up picking up the truffles when I returned to Boston for my wedding dress, but she was willing to ship them in refrigerated packing if I couldn't get there. She also offered to get the favor boxes and assemble them if I needed. Looking back this would hVe saved me a ton of time! I would advise you to order some extra truffles as they tend to disappear. Even my wedding planner who gets stuck sampling truffles all of the time said they were the best she has ever had Nd asked me for the contact info. I would recommend these to anyone who prefers good, European style chocolate.

Kevin was an amazing, good guy who really knows what he's doing and has great ideas to help you make choices you didn't even know existed. He was an outstanding value for the services he provides, and he was so versatile during the ceremony. He was able to entertain a very diverse group of people, and he easily shifted the songs to accommodate everyone's eclectic requests. I can't imagine having a better experience with DJ all the way through the process, and I would highly recommend him. And splurge for the uplighting...it does make a beautiful difference, and he's so affordable for that upgrade!

They worked quickly to get the ring appraised, cleaned, and dipped in white gold. They've been nothing but pleasant to work with and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
