DJ El Sid is THE BEST.

I am a June 2023 bride. My husband and I hosted a fusion wedding, I am American and my husband is first generation Salvadoran. We knew the music had to hit at our wedding, but it felt like a lot of pressure to please both sides. When we found Sid, it felt like a weight was taken off our shoulders!

From our initial meeting, to pre-wedding communication, to the actual wedding day, working with Sid was amazing. He understood our situation exactly, and had a portfolio full of amazing weddings that were similar, if not the same, to ours.

Our dance floor was PACKED all night long, and it was all attributed to the great job Sid did reading the crowd, providing all types of music, and keeping the party going.

I cannot recommend or thank him enough for giving us the party of our dreams! 100000/10 recommend.

We booked DJ El Sid & MC Medio Pollo for our wedding on 9/5/26. Fusion Function is an excellent DJ company to work with; everyone on their team is responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. DJ El Sid is well versed in all music genres and will help capture your cultural vision to life. MC Medio Pollo is amazing at hyping up a crowd in both English and Spanish which helped everyone at our wedding feel included. Leading up to the event, Sid and Medio Pollo met with us frequently to ensure all important details would be captured.
Lastly, if you’re on the fence on doing the Photo Booth, please do it! I’ve gotten several compliments on the Photo Booth, and have so many memories compiled from our event.
I highly recommend Fusion Function.

DJ Sid crushed it.

We used Fusion Function for our wedding this past week, and they did an absolutely incredible job. We worked directly with the founder of the company, DJ El Sid, and he made our night unforgettable. He kept the dance floor packed (hugely important for me personally - I wanted to dance all night!!), and his emcee-ing kept everyone engaged.

We chose Fusion Function because of their mission to honor and blend music and styles and traditions from different cultures in a way that feels seamless and welcoming. My new husband and I come from very different cultures, and DJ Sid did an excellent job bringing both of them to life at our wedding, making both families feel represented and valued. Sid himself has a background in Jamaican DJ culture, which is why we selected him specifically (my husband is Jamaican) - and he got the whole crowd dancing to dancehall throughout the night!

Sid kept the energy going all night, and he did a great job keeping guests informed of anything they may need to know (including making some announcements we didn't even think to ask him to make - like asking guests to sign our guestbook!! Thanks Sid, I am so glad you thought of that when I didn't!). He made the planning process so easy too, meeting with us regularly over Zoom to discuss our ideas and our progress and any questions we might have.

Overall, highly recommend working with this company (and with DJ Sid in particular). We got many comments about our excellent wedding playlist, and one of our wedding guests loved his DJing so much that she grabbed his business card during the reception to remember when planning her own upcoming wedding! Honestly I hope she does use him 😂

Thank you again, Sid - you did everything we asked for and more. The soundtrack to our day was flawless. I want to know every song you chose to pay so I can make a playlist of it to listen to and relive the night!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I’d recommend DJ El Sid to absolutely everyone & anyone. From the very beginning, he took the time to really listen to us and understand our vibe as a couple. We had a long do-not-play list, and he respected it completely while still creating the most incredible playlist that matched our style perfectly. Every meeting leading up to the wedding felt easy and collaborative, and the end result exceeded our expectations. The planning portal was very user friendly. He brought amazing energy starting from the ceremony to the last dance! The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests are still raving about how fun the music was. He absolutely nailed it and made our night unforgettable!

DJ El Sid was amazing! He brought such a fun positive energy to our reception and I couldn't recommend him enough! Our guests told us countless how much they loved our DJ and I can understand why. He walked us through the process and made the planning/decision-making much easier. We also booked the photobooth which was 100% worth it. Book Fusion Function and you won't regret it!!

There are not a lot of people in the entertainment business that know how to throw a party and make sure everyone has a good time - Fusion Function is one of those rare cases. They brought the vibes, the sounds, and the energy. Our wedding was multicultural - Haitian and Russian - and DJ Money Mav knew exactly what to play and when to get everyone on the dancefloor. We trusted the team fully - and it was obviously the right decision. We hired Fusion Function for our DJ, videography, lighting, and photo booth and it all worked perfect, each element complimenting our vision. You set the terms or let them take care of it - either way, you're guaranteed to have a good time.

The professionalism, responsiveness to questions/concerns, the check-ins all prior to our wedding day. The vibe checks, to the flawless set-up and operation throughout our entire wedding, my wife and I could not have asked for anything more. Also, there planning website should you choose to use them is one of the easiest and user friendly platforms I've ever used and I'm a tech savvy person. Lastly, the email reminders/days counting down check-ins throughout the process were very helpful. We had THE BEST night with Sid/Fusion Function. We told the team we wanted the dance floor to feel like a club and he totally delivered. Fusion Function is the way to go for your big day. From our initial meeting to our wedding reception, Sidney was professional and down to earth. The platform to upload music was so easy to use and exactly what we needed. Everyone was on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We received SO many compliments about our DJ; people had the time of their lives at our wedding, which just makes us so happy. DJ El Sid emceed perfectly. He was engaging, professional, courteous, and did everything we asked of him. The entire Fusion Function team was so professional, from early set up at the venue to ending the night on a high note with our last dance to Frank Sinatra. We cannot recommend Fusion Function and DJ El Sid enough. If I had to re-do the whole thing over and over again, every time I’d pick Fusion Function for our wedding DJ needs.
