DJ El Sid is THE BEST.

I am a June 2023 bride. My husband and I hosted a fusion wedding, I am American and my husband is first generation Salvadoran. We knew the music had to hit at our wedding, but it felt like a lot of pressure to please both sides. When we found Sid, it felt like a weight was taken off our shoulders!

From our initial meeting, to pre-wedding communication, to the actual wedding day, working with Sid was amazing. He understood our situation exactly, and had a portfolio full of amazing weddings that were similar, if not the same, to ours.

Our dance floor was PACKED all night long, and it was all attributed to the great job Sid did reading the crowd, providing all types of music, and keeping the party going.

I cannot recommend or thank him enough for giving us the party of our dreams! 100000/10 recommend.

Sid was a great choice for our wedding from start to finish. Communication throughout the planning process was great and Sid's planning portal made the process super simple.

Sid kept our large crowd on the dance floor the entire night, and he did a great job at incorporating cultural traditions that were important to our families. Each set was carefully curated yet flexible to keep the our multi-generational and cross-cultural crowd on their feet!

Sid was absolutely amazing! We wanted to make sure we got someone who could create an awesome environment with people from all around the US and Puerto Rico. We had different languages and cultures meshing together and Sid did an outstanding job making it a fun night for everyone! He was well organized prior to the event but also flexible to changes depending on how the night went - truly knows how to keep the party going :)

We booked DJ El Sid for our Wedding in October and he was awesome! My husband and I had a short engagement and planned our wedding in just 3 months. You would think this would be stressful, but DJ El Sid made the planning process so easy! We met with Sid in person and he was very professional and accommodating. We discussed the wedding details and he provided us with his DJ planning website which was so easy to navigate. We were able to input all our special songs, requests, and wedding day timeline right into the website. Sid also provided the music and microphones for our wedding ceremony and everything went perfectly. The dance floor was packed all night and the atmosphere was so fun! He knew what songs to play to keep the party going. I can't even count how many compliments we got from our guests about how awesome our DJ was. We were beyond satisfied with DJ El Sid's services and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Overall amazing experience from start to finish! We were in touch with a few other DJ companies, but theirs stood out because of their overall professionalism and price transparency. And after we booked - we weren't ghosted -- THEY ARE SUPER RESPONSIVE! We met a couple of times before the wedding, and we used the client portal to keep the reception details organized...when we had questions, we got a response usually in less than a day! We felt at ease heading into the wedding because Money Mav and Stix took the time to understand OUR VISION for the wedding., and they absolutely killed it at the reception!! They weaved in our music preferences and cultural traditions that we requested into our wedding. They were very familiar with all types of music (latin/bachata/salsa, afrobeats, 2000s hip-hop and even motown & oldies) - we are White/Italian and Black/Salvadorian and they had both sides of the family on the dancefloor for the WHOLE WEDDING. I can't explain their magic - but they found a balance in keeping both sides on the dancefloor all night..And even though we only had a handful of songs on our playlist, they knew exactly what songs to play next! They made it a point to make us feel like the center of attention for the ENTIRE WEDDING... I am beyond grateful for Money Mav, Stix and Dj El Sid Entertainment for making our reception truly unforgettable!! Thank you Mav, Stix and Sid!!

Dj El Sid was awesome. We met with him in advance to go over the details of the day. He’s extremely organized and responsive. We gave him the songs we wanted for the formal dances and pretty much asked him to read the energy of the crowd and play whatever he thought would keep people dancing. The dance floor was full (overflowing) from when it opened until the very end. It was such a fun night. I highly recommended Dj El Sid!

We had a great time with Fusion Function Member, Joel, as our DJ for our wedding October 6, 2024. He came on time, set up, and was ready to go for our special day. We met with him a few times prior to the wedding day and had a plan of action for what was needed. Everyone loved the vibe of the music and the mix up he did for us between oldies, current, and Latin. We would recommend Fusion Function Entertainment to anyone!

DJ El Sid was a fantastic DJ at our wedding at the Cliff House in July! He was referred to us by my brother in law and we couldn’t be happier. I knew I wanted to go with him right away because we wanted a Boston DJ, not an entertainment company. He was very personable, responsive and flexible. Every email I wrote to him he responded literally within the hour, and for a bride that’s music to our ears! On the day of the wedding he was prompt and worked very well with all the other vendors. He got the crowd going with great music through out the night! One of my friends said she had more fun at mine than her own wedding and my uncle asked if he was a famous DJ... I think that says a lot about how great DJ El Sid is and I’d recommend him to anyone 100%. Thanks Sid!!

Our wedding with Fusion Function wasn't just your average wedding, it was an unforgettable experience that blew our expectations out of the water and left us with treasured memories. DJ Stix, Mav, and the entire team brought a level of energy and talent that transformed our big day into a truly monumental celebration.

From the start, DJ Stix had the dance floor lit, mixing tracks that had everyone—from die-hard dancers to unexpected participants—moving. Mav’s magnetic energy pulled people onto the dance floor and kept the momentum alive (to a point that most of us were sore from dancing so hard the next day!) while Todd managed the photo booth chaos like a maestro, ensuring everyone enjoyed capturing memories in style, and that they had fun while waiting in line. And let’s not forget the vibe that DJ El Sid, Mrs. Fusion Function, and the rest of the team bring. The whole operation is professional, talented, kind, fun, and exceeded our expectations.

The highlight? The bridal party’s walk down the aisle to a very important song to us and our friends. It's a long song and we hoped it could be properly timed out so that we could hear all of it, but we knew it didn't matter all that much. DJ Stix didn’t just play the song; he delivered the entire, emotion-filled piece, hitting the crescendo in all its glory. That moment was more than just a soundtrack—it was magic. That's what they do. Fusion Function created a bunch of these core memories for us that we and all of our people are cherishing.
