The WestLake Club could not have been a more perfect place for the wedding reception. It all went over as smoothly as anyone could have asked for, and I owe a great deal of that to Jennifer Keefe. She is very easy to work with and very responsive to answer questions or offer recommendations / suggestions. I highly recommend going through the WestLake Club's preferred vendors for services needed. I used Edible Designs by Jessie and Chocolate Fountain Express for my cake and chocolate fountain, respectively. I found it so much easier to work with the WestLake's preferred vendors because they are familiar with Jennifer and the WestLake Club and how operations are run. The hor d'ouveres and food at the WestLake were wonderful. Our guests are still raving about how great everything tasted. In my opinion, the best part about the WestLake Club is that so many services are provided as part of the venue. This includes linens, china, flatware, glassware, centerpieces, waitstaff, barstaff, event coordinators, and a beautiful location. I looked far and wide for a reception venue and all the other venues I looked at would have nickeled and dimed me for each napkin, plate, and piece of silverware I would have used but it was all included as part of the WestLake Club. The only downside to the WestLake is that you cannot bring in your own alcohol and that the location can be rather tricky to find (my solution to this second problem was to provide a small helium tank, balloons, and string for the staff at WestLake to prepare and place along the parking garage to direct guests). Other than those two minor deals, I would highly recommend the WestLake Club for a wedding ceremony and reception or any other special occasion.

The WestLake Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. The club is on the 7th floor and has a full wall of floor to ceiling windows looking out over a pond and grassy area. The food is fabulous and there were a lot of menu suggestions to choose from. There were a number of beverage plans that we could choose from and they were willing to help us create a plan that worked for our needs and budget. We had a hard time finding a place that could accommodate both the ceremony and reception. And The WestLake Club was the perfect size. But the true gem at the club was Jennifer Keefe, the private events director. She was so incredible. She listened to what we wanted and helped our vision become reality. From food and bar suggestions to decor ideas to helping us order our invitations to coordinating with our other vendors, Jennifer did it all. Throughout the process, she answered all our questions in a timely and efficient manner. And she even helped on those "first time bride" questions that had nothing to do with the venue itself. It was like having a wedding planner without the added cost. The club was the perfect setting for our big day and Jennifer made sure that everything went off without a hitch. The ONLY downside was the dressing area. We had to dress in the locker rooms of the club. And because it is a private club with an exercise facility, the rooms had to remain open to members. Plus the locker rooms weren't a great backdrop for pre-ceremony pictures. But that's the ONLY fault we had with the WestLake Club. And it worked just fine. Don't let that stop you from using one of the best wedding facilities in Houston.

I LOVED the WestLake club! This was a great choice for a reception venue. I really like the whole city feel for receptions and I couldn't really afford a lot of the big places downtown. The WestLake club had the whole "city" feel to me. The room was on the 7th floor and one whole wall is floor to ceiling windows that overlook a pond and other office buildings. It was gorgeous at night, since we put little candle votifs all along the windows. Jennifer, the coordinator at the WestLake Club was perfect! She was so helpful and so professional. It was easy to see she knew exactly what she was doing. She was very easy to work with and was open to hearing all of our ideas. She also did a great job of helping us ge the most for our money. I would definitely recommend this venue!!

We recently held our son"s rehearsal dinner at the Westlake Club. We could not have been more pleased with the service and menu. Because we came from out of town we relied heavily on Jennifer Keefe who did a superb job. We had a coctail hour with appetizers and an open bar followed by a buffet. We were able to customize our bar. We arrived and the tables had been beautifully decorated, the food was wonderful and the staff were very accomodating and our guests commented on what a lovely evening it was. We all enjoyed ourselves thanks to Jennifer, the chef, barman and wait staff. We would highly recommend the Westlake Club as a venue for any type of event

The Westlake Club is the best wedding venue in Houston! Our wedding reception was fabulous and perfect beyond all expectations. Jennifer Keefe and Christine Surber of The Westlake Club were extremely professional and very easy to work with. They attended to all of our needs and concerns. We couldn't have had a better day!

The Westlake Club is a gorgeous facility located off of I-10 near Highway 6. It is hidden away in the Energy Corridor. It is a private club but open for hosting various events especially weddings, receptions. The coordinator there, Jennifer O'Keefe is awesome, she will make it happen for you. The food is amazing! We didn't have an open bar or even alcohol served so I can't speak on that but they do offer that. We had a buffet style dinner with a cocktail hour with butler passed hors d'oveures. Everything was amazing! I can not have been happier with the outcome and I would definitely recommend this facility to any bride for her wedding. You will not be disappointed! Having our reception at Westlake Club was definitely the best choice, and their coordinator Jennifer Keefe made everything so easy. We had a cocktail hour, a buffet, and a custom bar, and our guests loved it all. We customized the buffet menu, and we were even able to work out a flexible bar plan because none of their given packages seem to fit our needs. Jennifer was so accommodating, and she worked really well with our other vendors. The wait staff was really friendly too - one of the servers loved the best man's speech so much, he made sure to tell us.

Oh, and we had a whole layer of our wedding cake leftover, but since we hadn't anticipated that, nobody brought it home. Well, Jennifer called my wedding coordinator the day after the wedding (I was really touched that she didn't want to bother me and my new husband), and Jennifer kept it stored safely until they arranged to have my mom pick it up.

The Westlake Club was a beautiful venue for our wedding and ceremony. All of our guests really enjoyed only having to come to one place. The staff was wonderful from the very beginning with our menu tastings all the way to putting our presents in our car at the end of the night! Plus, it has a fabulous view of the lake!

I had a wonderful experience with my reception at Westlake Club! Jennifer Keefe is always extremely responsive and accommodating. Our guests raved about the food and the beautiful, intimate venue... one guest even referred her daughter to Jen, and she is getting married at Westlake next spring. Jen absolutely bent over backwards to make sure that everything went the way we had planned, and all the waitstaff were very professional and timely. Westlake was even kind enough to pack us a little goody bag to take to our hotel after the reception - snacks and a bottle of champagne. And all this was MUCH less than any other country OR city club I could find in the Houston area. I can't thank Westlake enough for making our wedding reception so much more than I'd hoped!

PS - My husband and I went back to Westlake a few months after our wedding to attend their all-you-can-eat Lobster Night [which was the BEST lobster we've ever had, by the way]. Our server actually still remembered us, even though he'd only met us once throughout the entire planning process. That's great service!!
