Weddings of Wayzata is just a gorgeous place to get married inside or outside. We choose to get married outside in July and we had a perfect day! Because the sun was out, you would think it would be too hot for the guests to sit outdoors. Wrong! The outside seating and altar is all shaded with trees overhead and so it was the perfect setting for our wedding. They have a �bridal cottage� that is two levels that is available for use when getting ready. This was fun to use while getting ready and will make for some cute pictures. There is a fountain, waterfall and stone bridges and stairs on site that is perfect for taking your wedding pictures. If you choose to have the wedding indoors, the indoor chapel is also very cute. The only thing that wasn�t ideal for this site was the time slots. When you sign the contract, you have to choose a time slot for reserving the site. This time is not flexible. I only know the choices for Saturdays and you can either have the 11am-3pm or I think its 5pm-9pm or something like that. We arrived at 11am for our 2pm ceremony time and were done with our ceremony at 2:45pm. If you are having a longer ceremony, you may have to start getting ready elsewhere or have an earlier time. All in all though, the beauty of the site outweighed the timing.
