I was just married at the beginning of this month, after being engaged for two years. I had someone else who was supposed to do my hair and makeup and a few weeks before the wedding she flaked out. Elysa is more expensive than I had planned on. If I wasn't in a jam, I may not have booked her. However, it was the best decision I made. I understand why she costs more than so many of the others! I have never looked better. My makeup and hair stayed put the entire day and night. It did not look or feel cakey. I just glowed and looked beautiful!

I also retained Elysa to stay with me during the wedding to oversee the wedding event itself. She made sure all the vendors were confirmed and on time and really kept it all together on the wedding day.

Elysa is really creative, talented, organized, and professional. Her advice has been quoted in a ton of magazines and she has done makeup for some really impressive people. I was expecting some stuck-up diva type, but she is so down to earth and not at all intimidating.

I am really happy that my other person backed out and that I chose to pay a little extra. You definitely get what you pay for and wedding pictures last forever!

We wanted a halloween wedding that would be fun yet classy. It is hard to do quirky and different without being cheesy and over the top. Elysa is a pip. She has so many cool ideas that blend a new twist with the classic. She was recommended to me by a friend in NYC as someone who could coordinate our south Florida wedding. Living in the city and planning a wedding in Florida was stressful, but Elysa was on top of everything. I had no idea that she also did wedding hairdos and makeup. I ended up booking her for that also and couldn't be happier with her work. A month after the wedding, I am still hearing compliments on how perfectly everything was put together and how fabulous I looked.

I did not want cookie-cutter anything. Elysa is all about individuality and sophistication without being a snob or over the top. I bought an incredible headpiece, a gorgeous veil, and my wedding day jewlery from Another Look. Elysa also came to me on my wedding day and did my hair makeup-which stayed put during the entire wedding and reception!

I also contracted Another Look to coordinate some of my wedding planning. Everyone Elysa recommended was purely professional, and Elysa made sure that all of my vendors really understood my wedding vision and what was important to me.

I got engaged while living in NY and asked my friend who was married a few years prior to recommend someone for hair and makeup. Elsa from Another Look was who she suggested.

My husband's job transfer brought us to Florida, and we decided to have the wedding here instead of NY. While searching for a hair and makeup artist in Florida, I was shocked to find that Elsa was now in Florida! That sealed the deal, and I booked her before even having my trial run.

Elysa was great to work with, she provided me with many different looks for a bridal photo shoot. All of the looks were different and beautiful; from calssic to exotic. She has a creative and unique vision and is so easy to work with. She is a true stylist and did everything from the makeup, hair, accessories, and even the flowers/props for my photos.

I was fortunate enough to hire Elysa with Another Look, who did hair and makeup for my wedding, not only for myself, but also for my mom and two sisters. I live in Chicago, and I am extremely particular about my hair. I got married in South Florida, so I was very nervous about having my hair done by someone new on the most important day of my life. I spent weeks and weeks researching and comparing and looking for the absolute best hair/make-up artist in Florida. Elysa had so much experience, and I saw what she had done (on-line). My hair was exactly as I'd envisioned it. I felt like a Hollywood starlet walking down the red carpet. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received on my hair that day, but the best part of all was my husband's expression when he first saw me. When your husband-to-be first sees you walking down the aisle, it's not enough for him to think you've never looked better. Of course you've never looked, better--it's your wedding day. You want him to feel like NO ONE'S bride has ever looked better and he is the happiest and luckiest guy on the planet. Nothing short of jaw-dropping will do, and that is what Elysa is able to provide. Trust me, you're in good hands. My only advice is to bring lots of photos of the exact hairstyle you want--don't wing it. And if you're not happy when she's finished--tell her what you want her to change, and she will do it. Elysa rendered hair and makeup for my niece’s wedding. She never met the bride prior to her wedding day, and no one had a practice session. We hired Elysa (another look) because of someone’s recommendation.

Each of our hairstyles and makeovers reflected everyone’s own tastes. My 80 year-old Mother, the bride’s mother, the bridesmaids, and myself all felt like our individual styles were captured correctly. The bride wanted a romantic, timeless look.
