Nova MakeUp and Hair

Nova makeup and hair are a great time. I had my hair and makeup done by Amanda for my engagement pictures and she was amazing. My makeup and hair were flawless, it was very humid and the makeup lasted all day. She’s very profesional, kind and friendly; definitely would hire again for another event.

Amanda and Honey were AMAZING. My hair and makeup looked better than I ever thought. I truly felt like a “fairy princess” for my garden wedding. They had really great energy and were so down to earth.

Amanda at Nova Hair and Makeup is GOD SENT. My makeup artist cancelled on me a week before my wedding and Amanda came to the rescue. She became a friend since day 1! She worked diligently on me at my last minute trial, asked a lot of questions to truly understand my style and vision and was receptive to any feedback. She was only available at 7am the day of my wedding which was at 4pm, but it worked out perfectly because I was ready on time to take plenty of pictures before the wedding as I had planned. She even brought breakfast the day of and made me feel like a queen! I couldn’t believe how AMAZING I came out when she was done with me! I felt beautiful both in person and in pictures (which is not always the case!) I got so many compliments at my wedding on my makeup and hair and couldn’t believe they lasted through sweat and tears until the end of my wedding at midnight! I can’t thank Amanda and her team enough and I’m so happy to have run across her..I can’t wait to see my professional pictures and use her again in the future!

All I can say is that Amanda (and the Nova team) is beyond amazing in what she does in both hair and makeup. She is the sweetest, genuine, funny... she creates a positive environment that really sets the vibe of the whole experience and she works with so much love. When Amanda says she is going to pamper you, she means it. She has gentle hands and lathers your face and neck to make sure you are hydrated before working on your face, neck, and skin. She really cares about the overall product. She applies body foundation to your neck and chest and blends it all. She makes sure you glow and adds contouring, highlight to your body to make sure you look your best in your outfit. She has amazing skills with lashes. She doesn’t treat lashes the same for everyone, it’s individualized and she even adds individual lashes if needed. She is also quick and knows how to manage her team efficiently. Amanda was my wedding makeup artist and just with one other team member completed 25+ services!!! And everyone had only wonderful things to say. She is quality and efficiency without sacrificing a great experience and environment. There is no stress when you are in her hands. It’s not about business to her, it’s loving what she does and creating a memorable experience for her girls and women. I cannot recommend more. She is forever my makeup artist. This talented woman is blessed. Choose her and her team!
