When all the other florists told me it would be tought to give me what I wanted in my budget, Dawn told me she could do it--and then came through with flying colors! We received so many compliments on the flowers, especially the bouquets, that she was worth every penny.

Overall everything was great! Dawn was great to work with and I couldn't believe the end result -- GORGEOUS!

Our wedding ceremony and reception flowers and decor were beautiful and overall we had a very good experience working with Dawn. She was willing to meet with us whenever we came into town and always had great ideas to share with us. At the reception, the banquet manager at our reception venue said that he'd never seen that ballroom look more beautiful, and I completely agreed that everything looked very nice. Many of our guests said that it was the most beautiful wedding and reception they'd ever been to, which made me very happy. There were a few issues with the flowers throughout the day but nothing we couldn't fix and our guests didn't notice. I shared my concerns with Dawn after the wedding was over, and I appreciated her willingness to listen to my concerns and do what she could to help make the situation right. My biggest concern was that one of their employees came to my reception nearly an hour before it was scheduled to end and began pulling flower arrangements and linens off empty tables. Because of this, my guests kept asking me if we were being kicked out of the room, but I had to assure them that we still had a lot of time left for our party. I was disappointed that they would begin dismantling a reception before it was even over. Dawn told me that this was not their policy, and that they tell their team not to enter a room until all of the guests had left. She said she would address the situation with the employee who did this. In the end, I had beautiful flowers and decor, so I am happy that I chose Petal & Forrest.

Our Wedding was beautiful and I have Rachel to thank! Petal and Forrest did an amazing job! They were so easy to work with! I changed my whole "vision" for the flowers 2 weeks before the wedding and Rachel pulled it off stunningly! We got nothing but compliments... everything was perfect!

I was so happy to work with Dawn because she really took an idea and created exactly what we were looking for. I only met with her once and she took care of everything else through emails and phone calls. Once the day got closer, she would check in from time to time to make sure nothing had changed, which was so nice. She also would make suggestions for flowers that could be used that would be cheaper but still create the elegant centerpieces we wanted. When the day arrived, the flowers were at the chapel and reception place on time and BEAUTIFUL! They were fresh and vibrant with color. I could not believe it!

I would definitely recommend Dawn and Petal and Forest to any bride in the Lansing Area

The only thing I would reccomend is that you review your overall vision and the details you'd like just prior to the wedding date, as there were a few small details she missed that probably would have been sorted through had we gone over the contract one additional time detail by detail.

Otherwise, the flowers were beautiful, on time, and the staff was very pleasant to work with!
