Best wedding planner!!
We cannot express how much we love and appreciate Megan for how incredible she was throughout our wedding process!!
From day one, she was there for every little question and paid attention to even the smallest details (i.e. song requests, contract discrepancies, decor details, tracking of the rings, outfit changes, and SO much more). She was at our rehearsal coordinating the entire run through, she was at our welcome party the day before, AND she was there from start to finish on wedding day (even making sure all of my stuff got brought back to my room so I could enjoy the after party!). Walking into the venue, I couldn't believe how perfectly everything had come together.
Still not sure how it was possible that Megan was able to help create and decorate our dream wedding, coordinate all the vendors and timelines, and STILL be so present with us on our big day!!! This just shows how talented she truly is.
Choosing Megan as your wedding planner will be the best decision you make!!!! Our wedding day was perfect in our eyes, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Most brides talk about feeling sad after their wedding because it's all over, but I've felt such an overwhelming sense of joy and peace because I truly don't think it could have gone any better. We have MLH to thank for that!!

MLH Events was nothing less than exceptional. Megan took us through every step of planning while curbing our indecision and stress. Her attention to detail is simply unparalleled. We are so grateful we found Megan!!
We first met with Megan from MLH Events to discuss renting wedding décor for our daughter’s reception. During that first meeting we were immediately impressed with her knowledge, creativity, and energy; we decided to hire her as our Weekend Warrior Coordinator.
This turned out to be the BEST and MOST VALUABLE decision we made with our wedding planning. Megan’s grace, calm, upbeat demeanor and fun personality made us feel like we had our BFF by our side through the year-long process.
She is well known in the wedding service industry; our vendors were very happy having worked with her many times, knowing her reputation for being professional and extremely organized. At our next meeting, Megan wanted to know what we envisioned for the wedding weekend. She listened, asked questions, offered advice and helped bring our vision to another level and WOW, did she execute!
She created a detailed timeline with us, accounting for every aspect of the day and communicated this to the vendors. Every single detail you could imagine (many we would have forgotten) was listed for the rehearsal and entire wedding day from morning, to after party and breakfast the next day. She worked with us to anticipate every single need that may present itself. When an issue did arise, Megan handled it, so we were able to enjoy the entire day without a single worry. We received many compliments from our guests about the décor and fun environment she created. Her team worked quietly behind the scenes, turning our daughter’s wedding day into something truly magical.
Megan and her team are exceptional at what they do. Do yourself a favor – hire MLH Events. You will not regret it!-

Megan at MLH Events was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning of our planning process through the final moments of our wedding night, her attention to detail, calm presence, and flawless execution exceeded every expectation we had. Every transition, every moment, and every event throughout the day went off without a single glitch — something we know only happens when someone is truly exceptional at what they do.
She anticipated needs before we even realized them, handled every moving part with confidence and grace, and made sure we were fully present to enjoy our day. My best wedding decision!
I cannot say enough positive things about Megan and her team. Throughout the planning process Megan helped me think of things that I would never think of, offered advice, and kept me calm.
Knowing she was there to set up and tear down and manage the chaos day of was priceless. Being able to be present at our wedding was the greatest gift.
She took care of every detail and kept our timeline on track.

Exceptional Weekend Wedding Planner
We chose the Weekend Warrior package and received so much more than just weekend-of support. Over a year before our wedding, we met with Megan, and from the very beginning she was fantastic to work with—extremely responsive, organized, and thoughtful.
I was fairly decisive about many aspects of our wedding, and Megan and her team brought my vision to life beautifully. She also wasn’t afraid to thoughtfully discuss potential logistical concerns, which we truly appreciated given her extensive experience in the industry. She helped us think through every single detail—even ones I didn’t know existed—so that the entire day was absolutely seamless.
Our wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to Megan and her team. All of the décor was exactly as I envisioned, and everything came together behind the scenes without us having to worry about a thing. I cannot recommend Megan highly enough. She truly takes all the stress off your shoulders and allows you to fully enjoy the day and weekend you’ve worked so hard to plan. -

The best wedding planner there is!
Working with Megan made our wedding planning so easy! Not only was she an absolute pleasure, she brought a level of knowledge of venues and vendors that was more than we ever would have imagined! Whether it was helping to find a particular piece of décor, wrangling a slow to respond vendor, or providing the roadmap to make sure we were on schedule with planning, Megan provided a kind of value that redefines what it means to be a wedding planner. We couldn’t imagine planning without her. On the day of the wedding, we could just enjoy the day, knowing that Megan knew our wedding plan inside and out and would be ready to handle anything that popped up. She is the absolute best in the business, a joy to work with, and we recommend her to everyone! -

Perfection
Hire Megan, you will not regret it! Simply put, she built us a wedding that exceeded our dreams in every way. I had no idea the level of detail and thought that went into planning a wedding, but Megan knew every in and out, which made planning with her an absolute breeze. She was able to take the bits and pieces we had envisioned and create the most stunning and wonderful day. She attends to every last detail and has an eye for refinement and beauty. On the day of the wedding, we were truly able to relax and enjoy every moment because she had absolutely everything under control. She even brought electric fans to cool us off in between pictures when the weather spiked over 90 degrees! If you have a vision, but don’t know how to bring it to life, Megan is your girl. On top of all that, she is super fun and just a lovely person. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. -

Megan was the BEST investment of all for our daughter's wedding.
My professional career included a lot of event planning so I really thought I could go without investing in a wedding planner. Our venue was simply contracted space. It was incredible space—but there was no venue manager or host. As the day was getting nearer, we began to think of "day of" issues that could arise that even with the most diligent preparation, could derail things and take us away from playing the roles of parents of the bride which was our ultimate desire. Our caterer, Scratch Farmhouse—another A-lister! —said to us, "If you need a 'day of' wedding planner, contact Megan...there is nobody better and we love working with her". So we did!
Megan had packages at all levels so we could select the perfect services. She took over all vendor arrangements and thought of enhancements that I never would have. Her professionalism and service allowed all of us to focus on the wedding, our friends and family. We are so fortunate and appreciative. -

Amazing Experience!
I was an absolute train wreck of a bride until we found Megan! I was overwhelmed with decision fatigue and juggling all the tasks that come along with planning a wedding. As soon as she came on board the planning became less stressful and more enjoyable! From being our advocate with vendors, to adding her extra décor for beautifying our tables, to sewing me into my dress when my mom’s hands got shaky with nerves – she was a delight to work with. One of our only wedding regrets was not hiring Megan sooner! -

MLH Events is the absolute best! Working with Megan was a pleasure! She turned my inspiration pictures into a real life dream! Our New York Destination Wedding with MLH Events!
Planning a New York wedding from Los Angeles was stressful and I was worried the stress was going to spill over to our wedding weekend but none of that happened. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Megan and her team by my side throughout my wedding planning journey. My fiancé and I took several trips back to New York to plan and tour the venue. Megan met us at the venue each time. The communication, whether by email, text, or Zoom really gave me the peace of mind I needed.
Megan possesses so much knowledge of the local vendors, which was invaluable when we were faced with the daunting task of planning a wedding from a distance. She had previously worked with every single one of our vendors, which was awesome! She is an absolute pro at coordinating every detail, ensuring that we had the perfect experience while incorporating our unique vision.
One of the standout features of Megan's service was their meticulous attention to detail. Every flower arrangement, every table setting, every disco ball and paper lantern for ceremony and reception was executed flawlessly. From setting up to cleaning up, Megan and her team were incredible. The support I had was priceless! I highly recommend adding MLH Events to your wedding vendor team!-

Incredible and so thankful
We decided on using "The Tour Guide" partial planning package and it worked exactly for what we wanted. Megan was involved, informative, and reasuring throughout the entire process and I would trust her with basically any/every aspect of our wedding. She listened to us, understood what we wanted, and advocated for us. It ended up being exactly what we wanted and I had so much confidence in her throughout the entire weekend. I was saying to people that having her felt like I had a "security blanket" always around and knew everything was in good hands.
They also went above and beyond on behalf of us: for example there was a decoration malfunction during set, but Megan fought to have it fixed and ensured the decorations we had our heart set on were done in time for the reception.
I could not have been more please and recommend everyone take advantage of the best in the business. Thank you again so much Megan! -

My Wedding Fairy Godmother!
Megan was my right hand throughout the months leading up to my wedding. She had all the right connections to help me achieve the wedding design I had planned out with her. The day of my wedding was a complete breeze, everyone always says "something will go wrong" but truly, everything went better than I could have imagined. Megan is magic
To say Megan is your wedding fairy godmother is putting it lightly. She truly makes magic on your special day and also is your biggest support. Have a concern or a stress? Megan makes it better. I was going through a stressful family emergency and Megan was my support with grace, kindness, and ready to move mountains if she needed to. To choose Megan is to know you are picking someone who genuinely loves what she does and wants you and your partner to feel only love and light on your special day. I cannot praise her enough. Megan Is Indispensable!
Megan Hiltbrand added an incredible layer of support to our wedding. She was an invisible force working behind the scenes, and yet she was right there when we needed her throughout the wedding day and beyond. She was accessible throughout the planning process, even though we booked her “wedding weekend warrior” package. She coordinated with all our vendors to set up our reception, ran the ceremony rehearsal, and worked with our musicians and sound technician to troubleshoot when we had a bit of misty rain on the day of our outdoor wedding. If you can believe it, I actually had time to relax with family the day before the wedding, thanks to Megan’s help. It was such a gift. It felt like she was right by my side throughout the wedding day, even though I knew she was running all over the place. When we got home after the reception, we realized that she even managed to deliver gifts and leftover food to our home while the reception was going on. She went above and beyond to take the logistics off our plate and make sure that small but essential details were taken care of. Working with her was like having another friend helping with the wedding - one who knew exactly what she was doing. -

Set Your Mind at Rest with MLH
When my husband and I were starting to plan our 3-day Indian wedding we were really focused on making sure that our family and friends enjoyed the event and that we could too. Enter Megan and MLH Events who put all our worries to rest. Megan helped us with every single detail and the experience was flawless. Megan is absolutely the BEST!!!! Our daughter's wedding was an out-of-town event for all of us and we could not have done it without Megan, her expertise and her contacts!!!! Cannot recommend enough.
I recently got married in May and I could rave about Megan and her team for days. I am a full time nursing student and my now husband is in medical school, just to put into perspective how little time we truly had and how much we needed to trust and rely on Megan. Megan would answer my late night texts and calls more than family, and would calm me down throughout the whole process. Many decisions I left completely up to Megan and I was in awe with the result. Best decision ever
Megan and her team at MLH Events are simply the best! We used her ‘wedding weekend warrior’ package and let me tell you… they lived up to the name! For someone who doesn’t need the entire wedding planning package, or can’t afford it, this is a great option. Not only do they set EVERYTHING up for you and pack everything up at the end of the night, you also get to meet with Megan on more than one occasion prior to the wedding, and she is there to answer questions throughout the process. She is extremely organized, and thorough. They were there from start to finish, making sure everything was executed perfectly. Having MLH Events on board was the reason I was able to enjoy my entire wedding day start to finish and had zero stress about the details. Not only is Megan amazing at what she does, but she’s also one of the sweetest and most hard working people I have ever met. She truly wants the best for her couples and it shows. -

Absolutely amazing!
Megan and her team were phenomenal — I can’t recommend them enough. We got married at an incredible venue but had to bring in all our own vendors and do lots of set up ourselves. Megan was the absolute best — taking my vague ideas on what I liked and creating a beautiful wedding aesthetic and setting everything up in a way that felt so us! She is so on top of it and sees to all the little details, taking things off of your plate. We worked with Olivia on her team for the day of and she was also incredible - always there when we needed her but also never made me feel overwhelmed. There were so many moments that I now think back about and say — wow Olivia just handled that! We truly had the best day of our lives thanks to Megan and team! Can’t recommend enough! -

Megan is outstanding! She helped us move our wedding TWICE because of covid, and kept all of the stress off of our shoulders. On the day itself she was incredible. Megan and her team are absolutely wonderful to work with! She goes above and beyond to make certain the planning and wedding day are stress free and goes as smoothly as possible. Megan was always available to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. She is extremely organized and ensures every detail is taken care of, from the vendor list to table linens, charger plates and accent candles for the centerpieces. Her wedding day timeline, which involved all of our vendors, made planning for the big day so much easier and less stressful. She had an awesome idea to surround our sweetheart table with candles for our reception which was absolutely stunning! Megan truly goes above and beyond to ensure the wedding day is special and memorable. We loved working with her as she has a great personality which is always bright, bubbly and positive! Hear me out... You need a wedding planner
Mine and my husband's wedding day was without a doubt the best day of our whole lives. One of the reasons it was so amazing was because the whole day felt easy, relaxed, planned to a T, and we didn't lift a finger all day. We had an A team of vendors, but our day would not have gone the way it did if it wasn't for MLH events: Megan, Olivia, and Sarah. These girls worked so hard to make our day magical and flawless. Megan helped to plan our day in the months leading up to the event and Olivia and Sarah executed those plans on the day of. As a bride, I was completely at ease all day long, everything around me felt completely taken care of. Sarah and Olivia were the calming and organized girls that I needed by my side on my wedding day and Megan was the bold energy that brought fantastic energy and ideas to the table at every meeting. These women answered emails and texts in record time and made me heard every step of the way. Life Saver!
Hiring Megan was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. We had to change our venue due to Covid restrictions four months before our wedding date and Megan helped us (re)plan our wedding. We ended up having the reception in my parents’ backyard which was way more work than we originally thought and I don’t think we could’ve done it without Megan. Do yourself a favor and hire her! -

Despite the huge ups and downs of planning for a wedding during COVID, Megan broke the process down so it felt manageable (and even enjoyable, despite the stressors). My husband and I were extremely impressed by how Megan went the extra mile for planning our special day (she went to flea markets to pick out vintage items for our centerpieces!). The day of our wedding, we couldn't have been in better hands to have everything run smoothly. PERFECTION from start to finish!
I can not recommend MLH events more! Megan and her staff are top notch and I truly can't thank them enough for making our day become a reality. After a postponed wedding, I had became frustrated and upset with the wedding planning process and Megan was a shoulder to lean on with every question I had. Every issue we came across she was able to work through with ease and ensured we had a wonderful day. Megan handled set up of our reception venue and I can not even explain how well it all came together- I tell everyone it is as if we shared the same brain. She executed every corner of the venue to perfection and it was one of the favorite parts of our day-seeing the space she put together. If you are even questioning hiring a coordinator-do it! It is totally worth every cent and takes a lot of stress off your, your partner's, your families, and your wedding parties shoulders the day of!! I needed Megan to pull off this wedding!
When COVID changed my wedding plans for the third time and I found myself moving my event to the backyard, I had no clue where to start. One phone call to Megan put my mind at ease. She went above and beyond with vendor coordination, creating a timeline and vision, and keeping me and my flighty brain on track in prep for the big day. Day of the event Megan and her girls worked their tails off with set up, coordination, and breakdown. She transformed our backyard space into a beautiful venue. Guests were complimenting everything all day and night! Without her, the wedding would have felt like an unorganized BBQ and our friends and family would have been working all day instead of enjoying. Just hire her! :-)

Megan is the BEST!!
Megan deserves more than 5 stars.
I was someone who would never have imagined that I needed a wedding planner. I happen to have a partner who is organized, type-A, and super on-top-of-things. However, having someone with you while you're planning an event (that you've never planned before) is necessary! I would now tell EVERYONE who is getting married that they need MEGAN as a wedding planner.
Megan thinks of every detail. She put tissues in my bouquet before I walked down the aisle. She made sure the sage green we chose for the napkins matched the color on the runners. She joined us on Zoom for every meeting with our vendors. She allows the couple to take charge where they want to, but can run the show at a moments notice.
Most importantly for me, when there was drama between a friend, my parents and Covid, Megan always made me feel that everything would be ok. She was right. We had the most incredible day of our lives and it would NOT have run the way it did if we didn't have Megan.

Megan and her team were the absolute DREAM TEAM. The weekend of our wedding was more than I could have ever imagined! There was not one detail they left out and my mom, sister and I did not have to worry about one thing. They made sure the entire day went as planned and we did not miss a beat. The morning of her and her team were so on top of everything! It's the things you do not think about like all of the vendors showing up morning of the wedding and showing them what to do and making sure they get paid, and making sure you and the groom and the wedding party are in the right place at the right time, cleaning up gifts after the wedding, making sure the food is coming out on time and to the right tables first. They were in charge of EVERYTHING! If you want to have the best day of your life without having to worry about a single thing the day of and weekend of, you must hire MLH. I would recommend Megan and her team over and over again! Best money spent! -

Hire megan
I can honestly say that my wedding may not have happened if it weren’t for Megan. This woman is the most amazing human being on the planet and there are no amount of words to thank her, or recommend her enough.
Being 2020, our wedding was not easy. After two venue cancellations due to COVID, Megan swept in and made literal magic happen in a backyard...within a matter of TWO WEEKS. She created a wedding even more perfect than we originally planned. Most importantly, she put OUR wants and needs before anything else, and she took all the stress and frustration I was feeling, and my family was feeling and turned it back into excitement for our wedding day. A Force of Nature
2020, the year of the Covid Bride. Our first venue balked when our 175 person guest list was reduced to 50 and we insisted on keeping live music. The second venue was all in until three weeks before the wedding date when they too panicked at the thought of live music possibly leading to dancing. Despite assurances that we would maintain social distancing guidelines, wear masks and test all the guests, they suggested we opt out of the live music and instead substitute a storyteller, or perhaps have a trivia contest. Seriously. Enter Megan, truly a force to be reckoned with. In three weeks, with only the band, florist and photographer still hanging in there, she secured a massive tent, stage and dance floor, a caterer, bartenders, trailered in bathrooms, a generator, outdoor heaters, and proceeded to orchestrate everything from the ceremony, cocktail hour, music, bar, and dessert table to the after-party pizza. And all of this happening in my front yard...... and Meg was there every step of the way. Stuffing guest gift boxes, supervising the florist, setting up the arbor, and even rolling into Home Depot the morning of the wedding to pick up decorative stones to fill a gap in the dance floor. Meg and her staff were magically there when you needed them, but remarkably invisible everywhere else. She has different levels of involvement and we chose the highest level for this event. Last year my older daughter was married and we required a different package level. In both cases she was worth every penny. She has a wealth of connections and is respected by the vendors. She is quick witted and tough and has your back. Pity the vendor that crosses her. Her itinerary scheduled the wedding day to the second, with references for music selections and vendor contacts and it ran like clockwork.
So eliminate wedding stress. There's no reason the bride or her parents should be running around herding vendors on a day you should be enjoying. That's Meg's job and she's damn good at it. Hire Meg and actually have fun at your wedding. -

I’m a Wedding florist and I work with a ton of Vendors year round. I have a high end brand and I’m very particular about Vendor recommendations and I’m a hard gal to impress because I’m in the business myself and see it all. With that said, I’ve worked with Megan on 2 separate occasions now and I’ve been beyond impressed both times. She is incredibly hard working and thorough, she’s easygoing and pleasant to work with and she takes care of everything! She really goes above and beyond and it’s so evident that she cares about each and every couple she works with. Throughout this passed year, with all the changes that COVID forced, I’ve had every single one of my events change drastically. I’ve received communications from planners throughout this but none were as thorough, prompt, helpful and resourceful as Megan! She is literally the only planner that has ever impressed me this much. When I hired MLH events last December for my October 2020 wedding, I had no idea how much I would have needed them! Between planning and changing those plans (several times) because of state regulations during the pandemic, Megan was always there for me. Megan and Kenzie were so amazing day of. Megan was the best thing about my wedding. Without her I would have been stressed out and overwhelmed. Wedding Coordinator, Consultant, and Everything You Need In-Between
Megan and MLH events did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job. Our wedding honestly could not have happened without them.
Even though we only signed up for the wedding coordination services, Megan was very supportive and involved throughout the entire planning process. She was responsive and very available to work with (even long distance as we were in Chicago and having the wedding in the Syracuse area). What I liked most about Megan’s style was she drew the perfect balance between letting us have the wedding we wanted while offering suggestions, recommendations, and her point of view on how the day could go.
When it came time for lights, cameras, action - Megan and team brought their A+ game. Not only did the wedding flow and run seamlessly from rehearsal dinner through goodbye brunch, but Megan and her team rose to the occasion and pulled through in so many beautiful ways. Two that stand out - for me, I was wearing a bow tie and learned as I was getting dressed not one of my groomsman knew how to tie it. Megan was on it and tied the tie for me. She also had grown to intimately know us, and knew I was nervous about how my hair was going to look. Megan constantly before the ceremony came over and adjusted my hair to keep it the way I wanted. On the other hand, she knew my wife was much different than me. Megan didn’t get too much in my wife’s way before the wedding, but came up HUGE when somehow her wedding dress got a dirt stain on it (funny enough, this was concealed from my wife by her bridesmaids - good call!). Megan came with her emergency kit and covered the entire thing - my wife didn’t even know until 2 days later when one of her bridesmaids told her.
In summary, Megan did such a great job getting to know us as individuals and brought that knowledge to bear along with all of her experience. I can’t say enough great things about Megan and her team - that were amazing!!! -

Our venue required we bring everything in and didn’t provide much support, but we were initially thinking we could handle everything ourselves. We are really glad we hired Meghan and didn’t try to DIY the whole thing!
After a few conversations, she had a good handle on what our vision was and she took it to the next level, bringing in additional décor and doing a phenomenal job of styling the décor that we had picked out, suggesting a few details that we had forgotten to plan. She and her team did all the set-up and styling and made sure our venue was absolutely gorgeous on the day of. She also helped us think through the sequence of events for our ceremony and reception, moments for which we needed to select songs, what kind of sound equipment we’d need on site, etc. In addition, she was extremely professional and organized when coordinating things with all of our vendors leading up to the big day, talking through all the logistics with them and making sure they had everything covered. She kept us, our family, the wedding party, and our vendors organized to the minute on the day-of with a very detailed itinerary. Meghan and her team made sure that we were all comfortable and enjoying every detail of our special day. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. She even made sure our marriage certificate was properly signed and sent in to the Town Clerk! (Our officiant was a close friend who’d recently been ordained online and this was his first wedding.) Her team also did the tear down at the end of the night, grouping together everything for the various vendors and us to pick up the next day.
We strongly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding, especially if you’re working in a venue that doesn’t provide that kind of support. She made our day a breeze.-

The Key Detail
Every Bride-to-be needs Megan in their wedding planning lives! Megan was truly a joy to work with as a person and a life saver the day of. From the beginning of the planning process to the end, she is there for you and all of your questions/worries. We were a pretty relaxed couple (at least we think we were) when it came to planning, not too tied up in details. At our first meeting, Megan picked up on this and helped us through the process. She thinks of every detail, literally everything, and asks for your opinion. She is very respectful of all of your decisions and does not push anything on you. She will meet with you and your venue liaison all together to ensure no leaf is left unturned. The day of, Megan and her team are there with smiles and water bottles : ) They really make the day stress free knowing there is someone (not the gracious aunt or family friend) to take care of all of the behind the scenes. This key detail made a world of a difference! All of our family and friends were able to enjoy themselves the entire weekend. Our groomsmen nicknamed them "the wedding squad" joking that we had hired secret service for the day. I can't say enough good things about Megan herself and all of the MLH Events team! 100% recommend to everyone for their princess weekend : ) -

Hire Megan!
We hired Megan to help with a family wedding in Syracuse, even though none of us live in the area anymore. We hired her to help secure vendors, and to help manage the rehearsal, wedding and reception. She and her team were fantastic in every regard. We hardly knew they were there, but everything was perfect, beautiful, and seamless. We truly could not have achieved the wonderful results without her. She had several meetings with the bride and groom to make sure she understood their vision for the big day, and it clearly showed in the results. Whenever, along the planning way, we had questions, she was quickly available with an answer.
One small detail, she had requested loose extra flowers from the florist. She arranged these in a sort of carefree way on the head table, and gosh, they were beautiful!
Again, we cannot thank Megan and her team enough for all of their help. Hire her, and you will have a wonderful, beautiful wedding too! -

Stop looking and hire MLH
I wasn’t sure I needed help from a planner and if it was worth the money but knew I had made the right decision after my first meeting with Megan. She put me right at ease with her experience and confidence! On the day of the wedding (and the week leading up to it) Megan and her team were a well oiled machine! I worried about nothing and neither did my bridal party. They managed everything including a transition from the church to reception, ensured everyone was having a good time and assisted with all the logistics and vendors. It was amazing! I had some many people come up to me afterwards and also rave about Megan- they were so impressed with how fantastic they were and how they helped bring my wedding vision to life. I can’t thank her enough for all she did to make our day so special!!-

The best decision we ever made
Don't look any further, HIRE MEGAN!! I can't say enough about her, and neither can all of the people involved in our big day! From our other vendors, our parents, the wedding party, and our guests - everyone was SO impressed with Megan and her team. Any time we brought Megan's name up to a potential vendor, they would tell us we made the right choice and how on top of her game she is. They were 110% correct. She was so professional, knowledgeable, quick yet calm. You ask her a question, she gives you an answer, and it will be the right one. She knows her stuff, okay? GO WITH MEGAN. Megan is the gold standard of events planners
As the MOB, who lived hundreds of miles away from our daughter's wedding venue, hiring Megan and her Weekend Warrior package totally put my mind at ease. Megan was my eyes and ears, dealing with all the vendors, doing the walk through with the caterer, and offering wise guidance many times. Through helpful conference calls leading up to the big day, Megan kept us all focused on the many important details that made for an incredible/joyous celebration. Destination Wedding Perfection - Chicago to the Thousand Islands
Megan at MLH Events was amazing. My husband and I live in Chicago and wanted to get married in the Thousand Islands in New York, near my husband's hometown. Planning afar was overwhelming and I had no idea what I was doing. I found Megan and she was 100% supportive from day 1! She had never been to the wedding venue, but was willing to meet me there 2 weeks before the wedding to hash out any last minute plans. She coordinated the rehearsal practice, contacted all vendors, made the bus schedule, decorated the venue, took down the venue, etc. You name it, she was there! I was stress-free and never worried about a thing! I could not have had such a great wedding day without Megan. I highly recommend MLH Events and Megan!! -

Amazing Experience!
I chose the whole shebang package from MLH events and it was completely worth it! Megan and her team were absolutely sensational! I had a HUGE family wedding to plan at my parents farm, it was a large task to take on- Megan had to build me a venue from scratch and accommodate A LOT of different ideas and thoughts from my family and she did everything so well! Many of my friends and family said it was one the most unique and well organized weddings they had ever been to. Megan made the day amazing for us, would highly recommend! -

Our wedding was pure magic, all thanks to MLH Events
For those that know me, know that I am a HIGHLY organized and detail oriented person. Therefore, you can imagine how hands on I was with the planning of my wedding. I still felt that I needed professional guidance along the way and on the actual day of. My venue recommended MLH Events to me when I was starting out in the planning stages, and it is the best thing that could have ever happened to us. Megan took note of how involved I was in the details, embraced it, and was on top of her game the entire time. Megan (perfectly) brought our classy/elegant/timeless vision to life. To quote our venue after our wedding took place, "We must tell you that the ballroom has never been decorated like that before. Absolutely immaculate." That is all thanks to Megan. We were able to fill in unique touches such as our wedding favors and wedding song, all thanks to Megan's creative mind and our love for the TV show "Friends." On top of all of these details, Megan had nearly a 300 person wedding to orchestrate with a 24 person bridal party. Numerous vendors too. Let me tell you, she did it beautifully. When it was time to cut the cake, pose for a new picture, enjoy our first dance, whatever it was...it was as if Megan appeared out of thin air like an angel with a gentle reminder over my shoulder, "it's time." That was the greatest gift. I did not have to worry about connecting the dots on the day of my wedding. Megan did it all. I also need to note how phenomenal Megan's assistants were on the day of our wedding. If I needed something, they were RIGHT there every single time and it was taken care of instantly. They were absolutely phenomenal. As an attentive person, I trusted Megan and her team to the point where I could let go of all the structure and planning in my head, and enjoy my wedding day. Our guests are STILL raving about how it was "the best and most beautiful wedding we have ever been to, and we've been to A LOT of weddings!" It truly was the most magical, best day of mine and my husband's life. We owe all of this to MLH Events. At the end, we did not view Megan as our wedding planner. She became part of our family. I highly, HIGHLY recommend MLH Events for ANY kind of wedding. Megan will bring your vision to life. I will forever be dreaming about this perfect day.-

Megan and her team at MLH events were absolutely amazing! We did the wedding coordinator package and it was more helpful than we ever could have expected. Leading up to the wedding Megan made sure that all of the planning was on track and brought up so many details that I never would have thought to think of. After every meeting with Megan I left feeling much more relaxed. My mother and mother in law came to meetings with me, and after every single one they couldn’t help but rave about how great she was. On the wedding day they did an absolutely AMAZING job. From decorating our ceremony and reception venues to making sure all the vendors were where they needed to be they did it all. My husband doubted the need for a coordinator, however, after meeting with her the day before our wedding and seeing her and her team work at our wedding we both agreed that they were the best decision we made throughout the process! -

My husband and I became engaged on December 9th 2017...and were planning a July wedding. Being together for eight years made planning our wedding incredibly easy for the two of us ( and by easy I mean we were up late most nights and giving each other congratulatory high fives when we managed to lock something down)...We noticed we were in a pinch when we realized we needed a Day Of coordinator...someone to take the reins and help us get through the day...enter Megan Hiltbrand and MLH Events. Right off the bat, Megan was extremely nice and made us feel at ease. We found her both professional and outgoing, a perfect combination. We actually felt SO comfortable with her that, even though we couldn't meet due to some unforeseen circumstances and wouldn't meet her until the night of our rehearsal, we still had complete faith and trust in her abilities to help us through our day. Megan guided us with such a gentle hand, it was like talking to an old friend. Our favorite thing she ever said to us was, " What's stressing you right now, close your eyes and think about it and just say it. Whatever you say - we will fix it immediately so the stress is gone." ...when we got off the phone we even joked that we wished Megan could come and organize the rest of our lives for us. Choosing Megan to be our coordinator is one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding process. Between getting in touch with our other vendors to keep the machine running smoothly....to making sure the wedding party was fed and hydrated, it all came together to make the perfect day.

Megan came recommended through our venue at Redbarn20. Upon our first meeting, I knew I didn’t have to look any further – she was so personable and professional; you could tell that she loves what she does. I am a very anxious planner and Megan was there all along the way to guide me, answers questions, offers suggestions, and meet with me. Our venue was amazing but we did have to bring in all of our own vendors from catering to renting linens, bartenders, and décor – which is a lot to coordinate. Megan made it look easy! When it came time for our wedding weekend – I was able to relax (well as much as a bride could!) because I knew Megan was on top of it. Our bridal party was impressed with her starting with our rehearsal dinner where she had the ceremony process down to a science! As I am not much of a planner or decorator, I gave Megan a lot of freedom to decorate our reception and cocktail hour space. Every time I walked into the venue I was blown away! She spent most of the day before the wedding and the day of making sure this was going to be the wedding of our dreams. It was!! My family, bridal party, and guests were blown away by our wedding and I couldn’t have done it without Megan! Megan was the best investment to our wedding we could have possibly asked for. We hired her as a day of coordinator, but she was so helpful with all aspects of our planning. When we were having trouble finding pies, she brought some from a place near her for us to try (fantastic pies!). When ever I had a little panic attack about silly things like linen colors, she was there to talk me through it. The day of the wedding I spoke to Megan first thing in the morning and asked what she needed me to do. She said "nothing." And you know what? She was right! I didn't need to worry about one thing with Megan there. My last little antidote was during the reception. I was dancing with my guests and Megan snuck over to me to ask if I wanted to change into my comfy shoes. The thoughtfulness and consideration she had for us was immeasurable. I really can't recommend her enough. -

When I started planning my wedding, like everyone else I started getting a ton of ideas from Pinterest. However, I was starting to become really overwhelmed with not only the amount of work that goes into wedding planning, but also with trying to put together all of my ideas (or lack thereof) into a cohesive event that fit our style. My husband, parents, and I all agree that hiring MLH Events to help plan my wedding was the best thing we could have done. Megan met with us several times to talk through everything from start to finish and brought up many things that we had totally forgotten to consider. She gave us a lot of great design ideas and had a ton of rental items which saved us time and money once we started getting into the little design details. She came up with the perfect timeline for our whole wedding weekend and she also coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure that everyone was on the same page (many of whom she already had a great relationship with). I also couldn't imagine not having her and her team there on our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about a thing because they were at our venue all day bringing everything together even more beautifully than we had pictured. They also stayed through the entire reception to make sure everything flowed smoothly and that all the candles stayed lit, etc. There is no way we could have pulled off such an amazingly beautiful wedding by ourselves and we would highly recommend hiring MLH Events to anyone who is even the slightest bit stressed out from wedding planning!!-

We hired Megan for the "Day of coordination" and it was the best decision we made!! She was so much more than a "day Of coordinator". Our wedding was at a Summer camp. As a Venue it included nothing but the space, which was beautiful but required that we bring everything in ourselves, from linen to serving utensils, to decor. It was a big job and Megan made it seem effortless!! I truly believe that without Megan I could not have done it! She took charge when she needed to and really ran the show so I didn't have to worry about a thing. She brought my vision to life on a blank slate venue and because of her our day was perfect. I have had two "children" get married recently. My daughter got married 3 years ago. We did all the planning, all the providing, all the coordinating...and at the reception, some key staff at the venue were sick, so I did a lot of directing of vendors and guests. I felt so frazzled and split: I hardly remember the people and the fun! I do remember I danced just one dance. ONE. So when my son got engaged, and I was acting "MOB" for his fiancee, I knew that this time around we should get a wedding coordinator. This wedding was at the Frog Pond, which is a beautiful setting, but NOTHING is provided, not even running water, so the list of things to get and do was extensive. I have no idea how we would have done it without Megan. She knew which vendors to choose, what and how many provisions to get...she knew of resources that we never saw on the online wedding sites. She's been through this so many times, she has a great list of vendors she has confidence in. And they have confidence in her, which is another bonus! She was totally reassuring at all times, and always had our back, both quality and budget-wise. The day of the wedding, I totally relaxed and enjoyed myself, as did the bride and groom! We had a ball! If I heard it once, I heard it 10 times from our guests: "Who was that wedding coordinator? She was fabulous!" People noticed, because Megan made sure EVERYONE was having a good time!! She was worth her weight in gold. I can't possibly do her justice with my words. -

Megan at MLH events is truly the answer to all your wedding needs! She and her girls work so well together with making sure your wedding is exactly the day you have dreamt about. She met with my husband and I atleast 3 times. My mom was from out of town and Megan worked with scheduling meetings when she would be in town since she had more of an eye for decor than I did. Megan even came to my apartment 4 days before the wedding and took all of our materials for the reception hall which freed up space we hadn't seen in months! My husband and I had our reception at the local American Legion so megan had her work cut out for her and she rose to the occasion and when I walked into the reception hall I was floored with how gorgeous it looks. Megan has much more of a friendly and humorous personality and is not at all bossy like you might fear having a planner would be like. She reminds you about your schedule while letting you naturally enjoy your guests and your moments. Megan was one of the best investments we made for our wedding. -

Megan was phenomenal. We had to plan the wedding from out of town and did not want to put the stress on our parents. MLH was a perfect liaison with the local vendors. She listened to all of our requirements and requests, and found vendors who could meet those requirements. She was very responsive even though some of the vendors were not. Her years of experience in the Syracuse area ensured that our 6 month planning period was stress less. She supported all of our visits to the area and highly respected our time. The day of service was a lifesaver. Megan and her team had everything planned out, and we had nothing to worry about. She ensured that we were taken care of at all times. Megan is AMAZING! When I began the wedding planning process, I totally thought I had everything under control. I soon discovered that there are so many details that need to be covered aside from just decor. I am so happy I used Megan. She made sure that every detail was covered from the day leading up to our wedding to the day after. Aside from expanding on my own decor vision to make my wedding day better than imagined, she had the timing, vendors, hospitality, instructions to my bridal party, ceremony details, and much much more covered. I knew it was going to be near impossible to create my wedding from the distance and it was not easy to put it into someone else's hands. Megan is the only person I would have trusted with our special day. She was so on top of her game, knew answers before I could ask questions, and was able to manage both of our rowdy families. Her creativeness is what sets her apart and her timelines make your other vendors drool with envy. Our day was perfect. Literally, absolutely perfect. People knew looking at the event that this was a Meghan and Joe wedding and not just any wedding. I would call, text, and email with random short thoughts and Megan would turn them into plans and ideas that were beautiful. She took every ounce of stress out of the day and really let us enjoy it and be present with our guests and families. I think that was best part of hiring her to be a part of the day...because of Megan, I was able to relax and enjoy the day as it came to me. I had full confidence that my vision would be created to the best her abilities and they really exceeded all my expectations. Megan and her team are absolutely fantastic and I recommend them more than anything for your wedding. -

When I first began planning my wedding I felt like I had so many ideas that were scattered all over the place, and my mom suggested that we look for help. At first I said no, it was not in the budget; but my mom suggested just a meeting. After the first sit down with Megan, I knew that our wedding would not be complete without her help! We went with the day-of coordination, but I hesitate to say that because I feel like Megan and her assistants did so much more than that. It definitely did fall within the budget, everything from the package we chose to the rentals were very reasonably priced.
We met at least three times, and communicated over email. I showed her numerous pinterest photos, explained these lavish ideas and always let her know, that by “we” I always meant her since I am the queen of pinterest fails… The different tables I had described to her, the card/advice/jenga game table, the memory table, the seating card table, the entire reception hall, all looked so beautifully put together! And the schedule she gave us, so awesome! My husband made a copy for all of his groomsmen, his family, by family, it was awesome to see the day planned out and knowing specific times for everything.
The rehearsal the night before and they day-of went by so perfectly. Every time I turned around Megan was there to help out or to ask if I needed anything! While we all know I would be lying if I said I didn’t stress at all, but for the most part, I really did not stress.

Megan at MLH events is awesome!! We hired her for "the whole shebang" package and couldn't be happier!! She made our day absolutely stunning!! It was amazing how well she understood the feeling we wanted to create despite the fumbling descriptions my fiancee and I provided! She picked up so quickly what we were trying to convey - and then she brought it to life! I was also so impressed how she was able to create something so unique - all of her other wedding pictures were amazing and she still had tons of creative ideas!!
She was completely on top of everything during the planning process and was good at communicating what needs to be done when. At the beginning, we were both a little overwhelmed by all the questions (so many details go into the planning process!!) but by the end, we were so happy that Megan had thought of everything.
On the day of the wedding, Megan and her team were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. She had backup phone numbers and plans and backups for the backups!! The day went absolutely flawlessly!! The owner of our venue said she had never seen a wedding go as smoothly as ours did - and we owe it all to Megan!! We feel so lucky that she made our day so perfect - from the smallest decoration details to executing the logistics to making sure we had cocktails during our portrait sessions! She is awesome!! I wish I could hire her to run my life!! -

We cannot thank Megan and her staff enough for making our wedding such the amazing day that is was. From the beginning Megan was a true professional and didn't forget a single detail. She came with us to visit our venue (Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown) and thank god she was there! She asked questions that I didn't even think about and made sure all was planned to perfection. Before the wedding we had several touch base calls and we were continually impressed by her thoroughness and attention to detail. She contacted all of our vendors and was able to convey our visions and expectations perfectly. Megan was also supportive when I was lacking in some decor pieces and added items from her personal stash to add those extra special details!
During the wedding weekend Megan and her staff were absolutely amazing. The weekend timeline she created was impressive and kept us all on track (my mother is still talking about how thorough the timeline was!). She would almost sense that we needed her and would appear out of nowhere with help and guidance! Her and her staff took our vision of a laid back brewery wedding and ran with it. I was over the moon when I saw the tent and how everything came together. Because of Megan and her staff we never worried once about anything other than dancing the night away.
We highly suggest MLH Events for making your wedding a truly stress free day you'll never forget.

As soon as we were engaged, I felt extremely overwhelmed with the entire wedding planning process. I met Megan soon after at a bridal show and realized I could use some extra help. We went with the "Whole Shebang" package and Megan guided us every step of the way. She is extremely professional and has amazing ideas. Looking back, I know there is no way I could have done it without her.
The day of our wedding came and I felt extremely relaxed knowing Megan and her team were taking care of everything. Our wedding day was PERFECT from beginning to end. We did not have to worry about a thing. I was blown away at how well everything had come together and how she made my vision for our fall wedding a reality.

I cannot say enough about Megan and the MLH team. My wedding was this past September at the Frog Pond in Skaneateles - a venue that is essentially a blank canvas. Megan made sure we had everything that we needed, she coordinated a timeline with all of our vendors, and ensured that the entire venue looked exactly how we wanted. She was instrumental in making sure our day went off without a hitch - especially after the weather report worsened and we needed last minute tents and heaters. She was absolutely amazing and was wonderful to work with throughout the process. I would recommend her to anyone that is getting married in the Central New York area - she is so worth it and will allow you to relax and actually enjoy your big day because you can be confident that she is handling any issue that comes up! -

After saying yes to my husband, the next best decision I made was to hire Megan to be our weekend warrior. From the moment I met Megan, I felt at complete ease with the whole wedding planning process. I wanted someone who I could give a few ideas to and would provide me with much more elaborate ideas and suggestions, which is exactly what Megan did. Her professionalism and experience made the whole process so much easier for me. When I first got together with Megan I thought I would just have her for the weekend of our wedding, but our package included so much more. She provided spread sheets, material lists, seating charts, timelines, kept in touch with all of our vendors for us and attended the rehearsal to help us iron every last detail out. She was quick to respond to e-mails and was always available to meet up in person as well.
Knowing I had Megan and MLH events there on the day of our wedding made me feel a little bit more relaxed. If anything had gone wrong, I definitely did not know it. Everything was beyond perfect from the decorations, the set up, the communication between all vendors and employees. You name it and Megan made it happen. She even made sure all of our little requests were done, such as martini glasses on our sweetheart table and signs hung in certain spots. At the end of the night, she loaded everything in our room and we had to worry about literally nothing. All of our family and friends were able to really enjoy themselves and have an amazing time. I honestly cannot imagine what my wedding day would have been like if it were not for Megan. I am so thankful I found her and would recommend her to anyone who is planning a wedding or any other type of event. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making the start of our happily ever after so perfect! -

The best wedding planning decision we made was hiring Megan and MLH Events! We were planning our wedding from out of state and our outdoor venue was basically just the space: we needed to figure out everything from the restrooms to the caterer, and we quickly discovered we were in over our heads. Since we didn't have a ton of wiggle room in our budget we sought out more of "day-of" coordinator and we went with MLH's Weekend Warrior package. It included SO much more than I expected: multiple face to face meetings, unlimited phone calls and emails, and she even had two assistants with her on the big day. Megan was so organized at every turn and she seemed to remember every little detail even if I just mentioned it briefly. She communicated with our vendors and took care of any little glitch along the way. The possibility of rain didn't even cross my mind yet she had multiple plans in place. It did actually downpour for about fifteen minutes during dinner and Megan and her crew went above and beyond to make sure our guests weren't affected by it before we even had time to worry about it! Since we live out of state, we only met once in person before we got to town for our wedding but I always felt like I could trust her completely. Megan and her team set up every one of our decorations - all we did was hand her boxes of stuff and somewhat describe our vision and somehow she nailed it perfectly! We loved having her and our family could not say enough nice things about her and her team. Our day was everything we hoped it would be, and we are so thankful for all Megan did to make it happen for us! -

I was not nervous/stressed about anything on the Wedding day. My Groom and I got to enjoy the entire reception!! Megan and her team were so friendly and helpful. Over and over, I've said that the best decision we made in planning our wedding was to hire Megan as our Weekend Warrior.

Megan was more than we could have asked for in a “day-of” wedding coordinator! My husband and I planned our wedding in Clinton, NY from Washington, DC with only a couple trips to the area for engagement photos and various wedding errands. Most of my communication with Megan was via email and several scheduled phone calls to go through the extensive planning details. It was not uncommon for these calls to last 1 hour or more as Megan is very thorough and would leave me with even more to do! She was great at answering any of my questions, my husband’s, or even my mom’s worries. Through these communications we created an extensive timeline of events for the day. It seemed intimidating, but really helped to put us at ease that our wedding would run smoothly.
My husband and I met with Megan once at our venues for a walkthrough in the winter before our wedding and she coordinated extensively with all our vendors especially close to the date. Megan always took into account my ideas and I fully trusted her to execute our vision. She even let us ship stuff to her in CNY when we couldn’t transport things ourselves!
Our reception was on a farm (where family/wedding party was staying) so the day before and day of the wedding it was common to see Megan and her staff busy setting things up. Megan was invaluable at running our wedding rehearsal especially because we had a friend (with no wedding experience) marry us. It was good to have direction, reassurance, and a plan. I didn’t have to worry about anything and could direct all questions her way. One of my favorite parts of the wedding was her execution of our photo memories escort cards! The whole wedding day you knew she was there, but she was also behind the scenes and never obviously running everything. It was such a relief to have her coordinate all the vendors, details, and questions on the wedding day so that all of our hard work could be enjoyed with our guests! We had the BEST wedding EVER! -

We could not have done our wedding without Megan! We chose the full service package, and it was by far the best money we spent. Our wedding was outdoors on our family lake house in a more remote part of the the Adirondacks, meaning there are not a lot of typical vendors, rentals, etc. Megan was extremely resourceful in finding excellent vendors and keeping everything and everyone organized. She really listens to what you are looking for, then takes your good ideas and makes them even better! She quickly gets to know you, your style and the "vibe" of what you're going for, and runs with it. I like everyone of her suggestions -- layout, table decor, color schemes, flow of the event, etc. We received so many compliments on the styling of the wedding, as well as all the extra little touches. My family was so touched at all the little (and inexpensive) ideas she had for the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and let their parents enjoy themselves, too). She has everything under control at all times, and always with a huge smile. My mom even commented that she was not stressed in the least because "Megan's here." Our day was amazing and perfect in every way -- in large part to Megan and MLH Events...we highly, highly recommend her! -

We hired Megan to be our day-of coordinator for our outdoor tent wedding in July. It turned out to be the best decision we made, and the most important by far. We had a beautiful, fun wedding that we without-a-doubt could not have pulled off without her help. Do yourself a favor and hire her, yesterday.
If you're the bride you already understand what a wedding coordinator brings to the table. Megan is a great coordinator, she's organized, dedicated, talented, fun to be around, and comes with a wealth of experience.
But, as the groom, I want to direct this review to other grooms who might not yet be convinced that a coordinator is a necessary hire:
The wedding planning process is 100% crazier than you think. You and your bride are going to feel stress you never thought possible. It will test you, and your relationship. Megan will keep you and your bride, happy, organized, focused, and sane. She's worth it at triple the price.
Megan cuts through the overwhelming amount of information, helping you prioritize, budget, finalize decisions, and stay positive. She'll spend hours on the phone discussing wedding details; colors, etiquette, tradition, flowers, guestbooks, invitations, decor, catering, logistics, you name it. She'll keep you organized with checklists, confirmations, and timelines. She'll contact and meet your vendors to ensure they are on the same page. Megan will even run (much needed) interference between your bride, her mother, and her future mother-in-law.
On the day of the wedding Megan and her team transformed an empty field into a beautiful venue for 200 guests. They coordinated vendor set up, decorations, catering, the bar, our formals, the shuttle, dessert, clean up, you name it they did it. As a direct result, we were free to enjoy what became the happiest night of our lives. -

I wish I could give Megan and her team 10 stars out of 5 - that is how above and beyond she went!
We hired Megan to be our Weekend Warrior, which included setting up, overseeing and managing the backyard ceremony, and installing/striking the decor at our offsite reception. Megan went above and beyond to provide additional decor ideas, conduct multiple walk throughs, trouble shoot venue issues, provide seating charts for dinner when the venue could not produce them, running out and grab a scrap book for the photo booth company that forgot it and handling the transportation company. She shined, and made all of the vendors around her look good as well. Also, there was 100% chance of rain in the forecast an hour before our outdoor ceremony, and it was completely sunny. I have a sneaking suspicion she pulled strings for that too!
As a former event producer myself, I am admittedly the toughest type of client to work for, and expected nothing but stellar organization and attention to detail. Megan not only met, but exceeded my high standards with her organized e-mails, paperwork and spreadsheets (that, incidentally, saved me from forgetting SO much), "how can I make your life easier?" attitude and general positivity.
Her prices are BEYOND reasonable for the level of service she provides. My only regret is that I didn't hire her on sooner for the whole shebang! Her contacts with Central New York venues and vendors would have made my life easier, and probably would have saved me money in the long run!
You will not regret hiring Megan at MLH events. -

We hired Megan about 3 months before our wedding and chose to go with her "Wedding Weekend Warrior Package". Her cost is extremely fair, and she was willing to customize the package to meet our specific wedding needs. Starting with our very first meeting with Megan she was incredibly organized and professional. I thought I had everything covered, and she reminded me of things I didn't have on my list!
We live out of town and Megan was available for as many emails and phone calls as needed. She even went above and beyond and had 2 in person meetings (on the weekends around my travel schedule!) with my family and me both at her office and at our reception site. She also had just my fiance and I come in for one last meeting a few days before the wedding to tie up lose ends. It really put our minds at ease!
Megan was available on site from start to finish of our entire wedding weekend. We had a 230 person wedding at a large outdoor venue with a million tiny details. I was worried that something would be forgotten, but Megan and her team nailed it! All of the painstaking details were carried out to perfection!

Absolutely THE BEST decision we made for our wedding was hiring Megan and her team at MLH Events. With us living in Washington DC and traveling around the country for our jobs, we needed some help in pulling everything together for our June 7th wedding in Skaneateles, NY, specifically when it came to weekend-of coordination, what we needed given our non-traditional venue, and timing. From our very first correspondence with Megan, she instantly put us at ease that our day would be perfect. To be completely honest, as a consultant looking for someone similarly organized, she had me at “deliverables”.
Throughout our time working together, we continued to be impressed with not only her professionalism and attentiveness, but the ways that she went the extra mile. Ours was a complicated situation with our travel schedules and Megan was always on-point to remind us what we still needed to think about or decide. During the planning process she freely offered her expert advice and creative tips that really made our event “us”. She helped us understand what rentals we needed, confirmed and coordinated vendor deliveries, put together an extensive (and uh-mazing) timeline of the day and seamlessly orchestrated it all for us so we could truly enjoy ourselves. I so much appreciated her ability to recommend what we should do while also respecting what we wanted to do, she's not one to judge, just to do!
Most importantly, Megan was calming and kept us both grounded during arguably one of the most stressful events you’ll ever plan in your life. I can honestly say that she took a lot of the stress out of planning an outdoor ceremony and on-site pig roast wedding reception at a venue with pretty much nothing for 120 guests.
Lastly, this gal is downright FUN to work with. If you’re on the fence about a wedding planner, I’d strongly encourage you to take a look at what MLH Events has to offer. You don’t need the fancy chair covers (seriously, you don’t) but you NEED MLH Events! -

We are still so thrilled and excited about our wedding...we were such dorks, and talked about it so much during the honeymoon! Of course with this review, I certainly cannot say enough. Megan made everything just perfect! Everything was so carefree and amazing we just still can't believe it! All of the little touches were just fantastic. I had some ideas and Megan made them all happen. People could not get enough of the photo booth, the donation in lieu of favors, the midnight snack, the table linens, the pictures of us on the wall, etc...I could go on and on.
I cannot thank Megan enough for all of her vendor recommendations, as I did not work with a vendor that I would not use again. As an out of town bride, this was hugely important for us.

Hiring Megan as our wedding planner was the best thing we did for our wedding!
I knew that I was going to need an extra hand pulling off the details of our wedding day, so we purchased the "weekend warrior" package. I originally thought the price was a little steep considering I PLANNED to do everything. Let me tell you I got the deal of the century!!! What Megan brought to the table was so much more than I ever anticipated. Having never planned a wedding, I had no idea how many decisions and small details there were. Megan was right there with me and really guided me to create my dream wedding.
I was very happy with Megan's consulting help up to this point, but I was not prepared for what she would actually do on our wedding weekend. Megan literally made our day happen! She was involved in every detail, she made sure everything flowed exactly as we planned. The MLH staff was very professional and even though they were covering every detail the went unnoticed, never interrupting our guests to complete their tasks.
Megan did a beautiful job perfectly placing each piece of decor. MLH even broke down the venue and packed up our supplies!! What an amazing surprise that was the next day when we went back to clean the venue.

Megan is a true professional - she has excellent event planning skills, matched with sound advice, and creative ideas. My husband and I work with event planners often in our professional work and were both impressed with Megan’s poise, attention to detail, and level of service.
We selected the “weekend warrior” package, but also paid extra for Megan’s support to secure a few vendors, including the florist, DJ, rentals and transportation. The location of our wedding, Old Forge NY, was further from her normal service area, but she graciously offered to work with us. She identified local vendors in the area and negotiated with Syracuse-based vendors on pricing and reducing travel fees.
She was my “go to person” for any question I had, offering valuable advice and counsel on a wide range of topics – from vendor recommendations, etiquette, event planning and managing difficult situations. Someone else noted on their review that “Every idea we had she had something of value to bring to it.” I couldn’t agree with this more.
She was not just an event planner; she went above and beyond to create a memorable day for us and our guests. Something I will always treasure.

MLH Events is amazing and Megan went above and beyond in carrying out our vision. We couldn't have done our wedding without Megan. Megan really knows the wedding industry and all the details that go into making your big day perfect. Megan is a creative outside of the box thinker. On our big day I was able to get ready and know that everything was going to be and look perfect. Megan truly went above and beyond for us and we are truly grateful to her and her staff for everything. I would highly recommend Megan and her team to anyone that is planning an event. Nothing but positive things to say about Megan. She handled the whole day perfectly and made it so that we could just relax and enjoy the day. She was very prompt when responding to e-mails and asked us a lot of questions that we didn't even think about prior to the wedding, but were actually really important. On top of that, she has a really energetic and positive personality and will work hard to help you achieve your vision. I definitely recommend using Megan as your wedding planner! -
