Helen Olivia did an amazing job on the floral arrangements for our wedding. The flowers were delivered in a timely fashion, and the delivery person was very courteous. My mother was extremely impressed with the bridal party bouquets. Before guests took their seats for dinner, my husband and I took a sneak peak into the dining room and were speechless - the flowers made the room look even more elegant and beautiful than we had imagined! We also received so many compliments from guests about how great the flowers looked. Guests particularly loved the credenza, which was decorated with five vases with candles floating on top of flowers submerged in water. Marianne, the owner/florist, was also such a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend her.

We had a very specific vision in mind for our wedding, which was the last day of the 2011 Cherry Blossom Festival. We interviewed about a half dozen florists before settling on Helen Olivia - recommended by Scriptorium.

Marianne was great to work with and clearly understood our vision. She was able to promise (and deliver!) the massive cherry branches we wanted and took a ton of time to coax them to their peak for the wedding day. We got a ton of compliments on our flowers. Everything was exactly how I expected it to look.

Marianne is also a very practical woman. She listened to my ideas, then told me why a few were less realistic. She then tweaked those ideas into something do-able that would have the same impact. She also produced sample centerpieces to make sure we would be pleased with the end result.

The price was a little high, but we were an hour away from her shop and required a lot of set up. Frankly, for her assurances regarding the cherry blossoms, it was totally worth it.

Marianne and her husband are building a unique and independent flower shop with a personal touch. I made an effort in my planning to support independent small businesses and I'm happy I did.

The arrangements and bouquets that Marianne provided for our wedding were exquisite! She was so easy to work with and even brought arrangements to our caterer, so I could match up linens and place settings. Marianne was a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend Helen Olivia to anyone!

Helen Olivia was a fantastic florist. We had multiple meetings to develop our floral plan, select centerpieces, bouquets, and boutineers that would match our budget. They were very responsive and made cost-effective suggestions. They even made us samples to take to the venue walk-thru so we could see what the centerpieces would look like. I would highly recommend them.

All florists are pricey, so I can't really comment too much about that. I thought the flowers were really beautiful and elegant. I was disappointed in my bouquet because while it looked gorgeous it wasn't constructed very well and a couple of calla lillies (cut with less than an inch of stem that were then stuck into some foam) fell out the top as I was walking to the church and then along the aisle. It was unable to be preserved, so if you want a bouquet that can be preserved make sure to specify so. I think they should have taken the time to wrap more of the cala lillies (I think I had 8 total) in tape and wire so that they would stay in place and lodged in the foam. However, everything Looked like a million bucks. I would Definitely go there again.

I had met with a number of florists before I met with Helen Olivia - and was glad I waited to choose a florist! They were by far the easiest to work with, and had some great ideas for our flowers. Of course - day of is what is most important - and they knocked it out of the ballpark. I was blown away by how beautiful the flowers looked. Everything was well done, looked gorgeous, and they were reasonable priced in comparison to other florist in the area. Would recommend them.

Helen Olivia Flowers.....all I can say is beyond amazing! All my flowers were absolutely stunning, take your breath away! I had booked them for an October wedding date and when I had to change my venue I based my wedding around them!!! There was no way that I was going to go without their flowers!! They were extremely flexible seeing how I changed my wedding venue, theme, colors ect, not to mention I changed all my flowers a month before the wedding. The fresh flowers they added to may cake took it to the next level, my wedding theme was peacock and my flowers added to the whimsical nature of my wedding.
I will be forever grateful! If they are available on your wedding date, you will not be disappointed!

Helen Olivia did the flowers for our wedding and did a truly lovely job. Marianne was very helpful and communicative when we were figuring out and ordering the arrangements we wanted. (For a busy bride, it's really nice to have a vendor who corresponds well over email.) When I felt that prices were too high, she helped me think of less expensive (but still pretty) alternatives). She put together a great proposal, and gave us some amazing sample arrangements. On our wedding day, Marianne's bouquets and arrangements were all beautiful and made our wedding look awesome. Helen Olivia's prices could not be beaten and their delivery and set up services were also very reasonable.

For anyone using Helen Olivia (or any vendors), I'd suggest you walk through the final proposal with them by phone the week before the wedding. On our wedding day, Helen Olivia forgot to deliver our little Flower Girl bouquet, which had been included on our final proposal that was signed-off via email, but not discussed on the phone. Rather than blame Helen Olivia for this though, I blame myself or our planner for not running through the final checklist before the big day. Helen Olivia was great about handling this problem--when we called Marianne, she rushed over from her shop before the wedding ceremony and managed to drop off a bouquet about 30 minutes before, so everything turned out great.

I would recommend Helen Olivia to anyone for any occasion.

My wedding flowers turned out gorgeous! Honestly, they were better than I had imagined them. They worked with my budget and created the most beautiful arrangements in small square vases covered with satin ribbon. They looked really nice. They also worked with my idea of decorating the banister with tule and flowers and ribbons and created very nice decorations. The service was great and on time.

We had only apportioned a very small budget for flowers -- other florists wouldn't take our business because it wasn't "cost efficient". Helen Olivia worked with us, was respectful of our budget, and came up with GORGEOUS flowers for our wedding party! Their look is clean, contemporary, and perfect!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Helen Olivia! After visiting many "okay" florists, it was refreshing to see flowers that were contemporary and "clean lined." Marianne understood what I was going for from the get go and was able to make our rather modest flower budget work. I didn't think I cared about flowers until I saw her bouquets. She actually drove over to the wedding site to meet with me to come up with design ideas. The day of, everything was perfect. I'm now a customer for life!!

We had a very good experience with Helen Olivia florist. Marianne, the owner, was very flexible and nice to work with. I told her what I wanted, what my budget was, and she gave us beautiful flowers. She delivered the flowers herself to the wedding and was flexible on delivery and pick-up times. Also, during our tasting at Ridgewells, she delivered a centerpiece sample so we could compare it to table linens. Overall a great vendor who I would recommend using!
