The Mother of the Groom recommended Ginger- and we were really impressed! Ginger matched my daughter's vision for her wedding perfectly. She had unique designs and gorgeous flowers. She worked a small miracle to make a 60 year old headpiece look modern and beautiful. My daughter didn't want to take it off!!

We are so glad that we went with Garden by the woods for our wedding florals! Patricia, the owner, is so kindhearted and down-to-earth, and it was a pleasure working with her. As a couple that didn't know exactly what we wanted for our wedding florals except for a general color scheme, we were relieved that Patricia was able to formulate a vision and provide direction for our wedding, while still listening to our input. Unlike some other traditional wedding florists, Patricia is truly a one woman shop. She grows her own flowers, so the flowers that are available are typically in bloom for that time of year, and she curates and creates all the arrangements herself. We loved the idea of having seasonal, locally grown flowers (dahlias) for our fall brewery wedding. All of our planning with Patricia was over the phone, and she was very responsive if we had any questions. She was transparent and honest with us that unexpected bad weather can affect her blooms, and talked through alternative plans if that were ever the case. She also invited us to see her garden closer to the wedding date so we could check out the flowers and talk through final details, which was a great experience. In summary, we would definitely recommend Garden by the woods as a wedding florist. What I will say is it worked in our favor not to be super specific or picky with our florals, because what we got was even better than what we could have ever imagined ourselves. For us, we went in with a color scheme and an open mind, and the results were perfect - we got so many compliments about our florals at the wedding, and it was truly our favorite part of our day.

Elegant...Creative...Exquisite...Stunning...these are words that come to mind when we reflect on the GORGEOUS floral arrangements Anthony and his talented team provided for our wedding weekend at Historic Rosemont in Berryville, VA. It all started with the planning meeting, where Anthony’s creativity in the wedding planning stages sparkled and shined! Since my husband and I were engaged on Mardi Gras, we wanted to have a New Orleans-style theme for our rehearsal dinner, and Anthony and his team created a floral and decorative masterpiece that was truly amazing! Thanks to Anthony and his team ‘s creative magic, the spirit and soul of New Orleans had somehow been transported to Berryville, VA...Anthony’s vision was both elegant and inspired. The floral artistry was exquisite. The rehearsal dinner floral decorations were our first wedding weekend wow... And then there were the flowers at our church wedding. Our second wow. One of our guests made a point of coming up to us after our wedding ceremony and said this, which pretty much says it all: “ Your church flowers are so beautiful...I feel like I’ve visited heaven today...”. Hallelujah, Amen! Everything about the wedding florals was breathtaking...beautiful...sacred...elegant...In a word, glorious! And then there was the reception. Our third wow. We have been to a lot of weddings, each and every one of them lovely, but we have to say, the flowers for our wedding reception were out of this world unbelievable! When we first saw Anthony’s artistry our mouths hung open in awe for a good while...we were looking at the most amazing floral display we have ever seen... artistically stunning in every way! Everyone marveled at the wonder of it all, and kept talking about it...we’re still talking about it! Thank you Anthony, and all your team, for a wedding weekend that was a dream-come-true floral masterpiece!

The flowers for my August 31 wedding turned out beautiful. I’m not a bride who has been dreaming of my wedding since I was small. As a result I did not have a vision. I gave small direction but ultimately gave freedom. I felt very happy with what was presented. I don’t have my photos back but here are some screenshots of videos family took.
