Julie at Design Diva was awesome. She came recommended by our venue, and we are so happy we went with her. She totally “got” our style from our first meeting, had creative décor ideas to help complete the look of our venue for our big day, and was friendly, responsive, and fairly priced. We didn’t need the lighting because of the time of our ceremony/ reception (she was so diligent that she looked up sunset time for our wedding day just to make sure), but we did use her for our fabric backdrops and a lot of other décor elements. She worked with us to make sure everything looked right, she helped to set up a “memory table” using photos my mom had compiled, and worked well with the other vendors she needed to (florist, baker, caterer) to make sure everything looked great. She and her teammate worked fast to get everything set up, and it really pulled the whole look together. Throughout our wedding planning, she was very responsive and sent us pictures of all of the items that she had ordered for us to make sure we approved. We were to glad to have her as the vendor behind some of the large design elements of our wedding – she has such an eye for it and understands so many different styles!
Originally I rented the crystal arch with uplighting for my wedding. Then we went to revisit the venue and realized that there was an ugly blue door that needed to be covered. I then rented a background for the arch not really sure what it would look like. I was so impressed by the arch and background! Everything turned out beautiful and I got so many compliments! Julie is great and so easy to work with!

The Design Diva, Julie, really helped make our entire wedding come together. We rented uplighting and a crate wall from her. Julie was incredibly helpful, offering suggestions throughout the process. I was able to go and actually see the uplights and we played with colors until I was pleased with the result. The crate wall was a great touch and made for some fantastic photos.
Design Diva completely exceeded all of my expectations! I look forward to booking with Design Diva for my wedding anniversaries!
Julie is amazing! She knew exactly what we wanted on the day of and she definitely delivered when it came to the big day! If you are getting married in the evening i recommend talking with her about uplighting in the tent because it makes the biggest difference !
It was an absolute pleasure working with Design Diva. At the time of my wedding I was looking for additional touches to bring together the theme of my wedding. They supplied a number of great suggestions that would add to our venue. I truly appreciate the time they spent working with us and for making an incredible venue even more beautiful than it already was.

Julie was delightful! We originally wanted to rent some lounge furniture for the terrace at Ceresville, and Julie had some great options and was able to sketch out the setup for the different seating areas to create a great flow and atmosphere.
We did use the fairy berries she has too, and they were AWESOME! I had seen the idea online, and bought some to test them out, but I didn't know how to get them to Ceresville and set up and placed. I was absolutely thrilled to find out Julie had them and had used them at our venue before! They did just the trick to create the atmosphere I wanted. She did a great job placing them in the landscaping and in the pond, and it was a weight off my shoulders that we didn't have to do any of it ourselves. While we didn't use any of her uplighting, she did give me a demo. She can do color mixing to create whatever shade of light you need, and it's all seamlessly operated by a single station.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for decoration help - from the beginning vision to finishing touches.
Design Diva was exceptional in their professionalism, creative designs and pricing. Their flexibility and ability to tackle any problem or glitch was impressive. They went out of their way to make sure that my daughter's wedding was truly perfect and beautiful! I can honestly say "satisfaction guaranteed"!
Julie played a huge role in making our wedding so spectacular! She really took our image and created exactly what we pictured in our heads. We had Julie do uplighting and draperies around the whole perimeter of a tent, it turned out better than we could have imagined. She also helped us display our travel theme throughout the whole venue. She was so easy to work with and truly wanted to make our wedding everything we wanted and more. You need someone like this for your wedding!

I am so thankful I found Julie! Her and her team definitely "made" the event! From lighting and centerpieces, to ceremony decor and a gorgeous archway, her team gave me the exact look I had in mind for my "Winter Wonderland." She was a blast to work with; and even with a venue change, and last minute order changes, I couldn't be happier with the services from Design Diva!
The Design Diva does amazing work. Julie is so crafty and can come up with unique pieces to help make your event stand out from the norm. She did awesome non-floral centerpieces for us. I didn't want to do the standard flower centerpieces, just because they are used a lot and they are more costly. Also, Julie provided an arch for our ceremony and cute accent pieces for tables. I cannot say her responsiveness was the best. We did almost all of our communication through email and I think sometimes her replies took longer than expected...sometimes a week or over. Other than that though, she was easy to work with and certainly provides!
Julie at Design Diva was so friendly and easy to work with. I didn't really know exactly what I wanted for my reception decor, but I knew I wanted a few touches of color (we were married at Stone Manor Country Club and our reception was in the tent). Julie had tons of ideas and helped me decide on uplighting and some drapery. She did a great job on the day of the wedding, I loved what I saw when I walked into my reception. Thank you, Julie!
Design Diva provided great lighting services for our wedding. She was able to design exactly what we wanted and was flexible with the color change we really wanted between dinner and the dancing portion of our reception. I'm not sure if her prices were great compared to other lighting services, but she was great so we booked her and I would definitely recommend!
