Do NOT buy your dress here!!! They are unprofessional and infexible and do not provide you with all of the "restirctions" on buying your dress from them. If you have a choice go somewhere else!!!

I actually found a dress for $99. I was a beautiful gown with a train. It took a few months to find one at that price there. But I kept going in every week to check.
They cleaned it and when I arrived to my destination wedding in Philadelphia. The steamed it out for me and had it back to me the next day; in time for my wedding.

I was a little disappointed in the service I received from David's Bridal. I am short so I had to have my dress altered, and when I asked how much it would cost to do it, KiKi told me $50 or $60. Well when I go to alterations I find out that the hem was $95! Well I said whatever and paid it. When I go to pick up my dress from alterations, they had the hem about 1-2 inches TOO SHORT! If I wasn't wearing any heels it would have been perfect, but I was wearing 4 inch heels. I was very upset, and when I voiced my concerns the store manager informed me that it was not their fault. I said whatever and ended up wearing flats! I was sooooo disappointed.

I think my problem was my saleswoman. She just wasn't extremely helpful. She was in a rush, and only wanted to show me 3 dresses... however, my mom decided to do a walkthrough, and she found THE dress.
I wouldn't change my dress for the world. It is and was beautiful.

Anything you buy (even a veil) will not be able to be returned even if you have the receipt and the tag is still originally intact

We actually used David's Bridal in Jackson, TN, and they were awesome. I used them for my wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses. The entire staff was very helpful and did a wonderful job helping me choose a style that was suitable for everyone's body style.

They were HORRIBLE! I came in with a small list of what I wanted to try on, but told them that was just to get an idea. They never brought any other selections, other than the ones I asked for. Every time I needed something, I had to search for someone to help. When I asked for a different size, they always brought the wrong one. I was unsure about the size dress I was ordering(that they told me was the right size), so I called my mother-in-law-to-be to come help and we decided on a smaller dress. When the dress finally came in, they never called (I got an email). When I went to pick it up, I was handed the dress and expected to sign a piece of paper without trying it on or taking it out of the bag. When I did try it on, it needed to be hemmed and no one would help. My mother-in-law-to-be finally rummaged through some drawers until she found some pins. Needless to say, I had someone else do the alterations. Once I had left that store for good, they called me twice to set up an appointment to try on some dresses for my upcoming wedding and twice I had to call them to inform them that I had already ordered, purchased and picked up my dress. I finally had to get the store manager on the phone to complain and to get them to leave me alone. I hope to never set foot in that store again!

You get the kind of service you would expect from a large chain, but you can not beat the price. I found the perfect dress my first visit. Get your alterations done elsewhere. I had alterations done for $160 when DB quotes me over $400! you can also buy your accessories elsewhere...those are not worth the price. Also, keep in mind when buying flower girl dresses that you can not return them so make sure your flower girl is with you to try them on.

They did my dress and the alterations. Good value on the dress. It was the 9th store I went to, and they had THE dress. Alterations were pricey though. Friendly staff. Very agreeable alterations department lady. Nothing exceptional about the rest of the staff.

I loved my wedding dress, it was so beautiful for a beach wedding !

The first time I went, I had the worst helper in the world. They fired her before I came back. My next lady was more helpful. She was too busy to help just me though I had made an appointment weeks in advance. I found my gorgeous wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. I then called in to get my dress altered close to the wedding. I only needed a bustle put on so I could dance without a train tripping me. They promised me a certain time slot to pick up my dress, but gave it away by the time I arrived half an hour later. This caused me to have everything late for my wedding since I could not leave town until I got the dress. I only picked up the dress in time for the wedding, because I went to upper management and complained constantly until I got the dress finished the day before the wedding. While dancing at the wedding (within a half hour of putting up the bustle) the ties all started ripping off the dress. This hampered my ability to do anything and caused my dress to drag and trip me. The dress is stained a blackish grey from the floors. I had paid over $200 for a very simple bustle that ruined my wedding and fell apart immediately.

David's Bridal is a great place because they have coordinating dresses/bridesmaids/flowergirl/etc.. It is very convenient. My personal experience with buying my gown was satisfactory as far as the dresses and costs. HOWEVER, they will quickly try to rip you off in alterations that are very pointless and extremely expensive. I would highly recommend using an outside altering vendor. Everything came in WEEKS/MONTHS earlier than the anticipated date. That is good, BUT they rush you way too much trying to scare you that your things will not arrive in time for the wedding. Some of the staff at the bartlett, tn location we extremely rude and non-helpful. But that is everywhere these days.

I went to David's Bridal with limited expectations. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and helpful. The consultant I was given was nice and willing to help. I had an overall good experience at David's Bridal.

This was the most horrible experience that Ive ever had with a retail store. I bought my dress on May 5th. They told me the dress would be in by a certain date. It was late but still within my schedule as I moved the end of June out of state and wanted to do my fitting. They tried to charge me over 200 dollars to have a bustle done and 1/2 an inch taken up on the length. I eventually in tears told them just to do the bustle. Then I could not get a response as to when my dress would be back from having the alterations done. THey were rude, hateful and very very very unaccomodating. I was trying to get a date so I could make sure my dress was there when I came back from Texas. Well they kept saying the promise date is August 1st but it could be late. It was very frustrating not being able to get a date from them. Finally after my aunt called corporate we had a date. It was overall just a very miserable experience and the sales associates and alterations department were very rude and hateful. I will NEVER go back to this location and probably will never go back to Davids Bridal ever. MY ADVICE: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
