Drake Cleaners is the Best EVER!!! My daughter was getting married and I took my wedding veil out of my box that had been sealed for 38 years. It was still perfect but the lace had yellowed a little. I was so frightened for anyone to touch it but they did a beautiful job!!! Also, they altered her wedding dress, taking it in and making it perfect!! They are so comforting, professional and knowledgeable!!! After the wedding, they cleaned the dress so it is perfectly preserved but the biggest surprise was at the reception my daughter wanted to cut off the long train from the veil so she could dance with just the top, Drake’s said no worries. I was a nervous wreck but we cut it off at the reception and Drake’s sewed it right back on perfectly!!!! They definitely are my go to cleaners forever!!!! Plus, it’s a local mom & pop place, my favorite!! ❤️👰‍♀️"

My dress fit me like a glove. I was so happy with the alterations. I had to order a dress large enough for my hips, which left it really baggy and big on the top. They took everything in perfectly, and they were easy to schedule and work with. The hem, bustle, cleaning, etc. met all my expectations. Really amazing team. They're cleaning my dress now!

Mrs. Sandy, the owner of Drake's "sister" company, A Better Fit Alterations, was a Godsend. I am a professional artist, and the amount of care, the eye for detail, and the patience I found at this small, family owned company exceeded any hope or expectation I could have had. My 'petite' sized dress was far too long for my short frame, and had a delicate lace-applique on a mesh overlay that other seamstresses said they were going to just "cut off". Mrs. Sandy and her staff were appalled at the very idea! They painstakingly loosened each attaching stitch (which also held various rhinestones, sequins, and beading), and shifted the applique up so that not an inch of the intricate design was, so bluntly, cut off. They shared my enthusiasm and passion for the dress, and Mrs. Sandy was so warm and patient–she truly made me feel more like family than a customer. I am so relieved to have entrusted my dress to A Better Fit and Drake's, and hope Mrs. Sandy and her staff are forever as blessed as they are, themselves, a blessing.
