Thank YOU for saving this event! We had been referred to Memphis Sound by a well-respected musician friend of ours, but also contacted other agencies to confirm what we were getting, as I had never booked a band, or party rental equipment in my life. After our terrible experience with another agency - they were rude, misrepresented our bands availability, and way over-priced - we realized why our friend had sent us here. They had the same Memphis entertainment we wanted for 1/3 off! And the girl we dealt with helped us so much on everything from seating to band schedules. My second daughter is getting married in the Spring, and we will not consider going anywhere else. I've learned a good rule of thumb in Memphis, and it's this: If an entertainment agency begins with "R", put the phone down and slowly back away. Better yet, ask a local musician. See what they tell you. Thank you, DOUG!

Absolutely fantastic band! They played at a wedding I went to a few years back, and I was so impressed that I knew I wanted them to be the entertainers at our wedding. They did not disappoint. We even asked them to learn a song for my dance with my father. They were happy to learn it and their rendition was stellar. They had everyone out on the dance floor or dancing in their chairs at the tables. I probably got more comments on how great the band was than how great my dress was! Perfect and talented entertainers. Hands down best band in Memphis!!

What can i say! Jaime Baker and the VIP's delivered! They were just awesome. We wanted a party and for all our guest to have fun. Jaime Baker and the VIP did just that. They got the crowd moving, they recommended different things to do at the reception than the traditional throwing of the bouquet and garter. They had guest come up to sing and were just phenomenol. Jamie checked in with us throughout the night to make sure that we were okay and to attain any feedback needed. He knew what to do and he worked closely with the photographer on timing of the cutting of the cake etc. The music was awesome and people kept telling me that this was the best wedding they have gone to in a long long time. We are so happy and will use him and his band again.

I would like to first start by saying Thank You to the Soul Tones. They performed at our New Year’s Eve wedding reception on 12-31-21. To say that the Soul Tones surpassed every expectation we had would be an understatement. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are amazing with coordinating all the details that go into producing an awesome night of music. People were raving all night about how incredible they were. Do yourself a favor and choose the souls tones for your next event. You will be glad you did.

I entrusted the Sexton Connection Band with providing music for my Memphis wedding. It was one of the best decisions I made. They were professional, on time, and sounded great! They provided a string quartet that played during the actual wedding ceremony that added a sense of elegance to the ceremony, a 9 piece soulful band for the reception, and a played playlist of songs I selected. Their price was very reasonable and worth every penny! I got a dj, string quartet, and 9 piece band all in one. If you’re looking for a band that can provide elegance and soul to your ceremony, I Highly Recommend the Sexton Connection! Tanya, a happy Bride
