Have a large selection but it is a big box store

Absolutely hated shopping with DB. Staff was discourteous, and seemed annoyed at their jobs. I bought a dress from them originally, then realized it was not what I wanted and needed to return it. They let me return it, but when I realized I didn't like the dress I had thought I wanted from them, they became frustrated and not very understanding about the fact that this was the most special dress I would ever wear. The girls were insensitive about my feelings and acted as if I was being a Bridezilla. They DID allow me to "exchange" the dress. I gave it back--completely untouched, tags still on, still in garment bag which had never been un-zipped, pristine condition--with the original receipt and tags, and got 6 bridesmaids dresses and a flowergirl dress with the credit from the dress plus some. In dealing with the bridal party dresses, the girls were originally measured incorrectly and assigned the wrong sizes. When picking them up, they were rude and not very helpful about telling me the policies on alterations. Very delayed responses to any inquiries I had. Will never work with them again, unless it is for a friend's wedding. They will not receive my business--willingly or by choice--ever again.

My consultant, Courtney, was amazing to work with!! She helped me so much through all the details!!! I would recommend her to anyone!!!!

The only problem I had was that my dress was a little big *after* the final alterations. I'm small though (5'2" and 98lbs) and think she was just nervous to alter the size 0 dress as much as it needed to be.

Pushy about alterations and you have to pay for your garment bag.

They have a great selection and great prices. The part that I didn't like was that since I did not buy my gown from them there was no discount for my bridesmaids - even though there were 7 of them and all together they spent almost $1,000. So we bought 7 dresses from them and spent nearly $1,000 and they couldn't give us a discount because I didn't buy my dress from them. I had been to other places that were willing to give my bridesmaids a 10% discount since we were going to be buying more than 3 dresses from them. Anothe thing I didn't like was that a week after we bought the dresses they were on sale for $99. Most places would have mentioned it & told us that it would be a better deal for us to come back in a week. I love the dresses, but the service wasn't good.

I had a few issues. When I went to shop for the dress they never brought me the ones I asked for instead they insisted that I leave the dressing room in my underwear to point the out , though I had already done so in the magazine.

Later when it came to picking up the dresses i had chosen they called to tell us they were in and when we drove 45 minutes to pick them up there had been some type of mistake.

The women in the dress store were fabulous at their jobs. You only had to show them a picture of the dress you wanted to try on and they knew exactly where to find it.
I was very satisfied with the way the dress I chose looked on my wedding day. It was truly the perfect dress.
I also bought my invitations from the online store. I did not have any personal contact with the people who filled my order, but the product was delivered to my home in a very timely matter.
One thing I would say to other brides is to make sure you double or triple check the way you spelled everything on the order form because it is very easy to overlook a misspell.

I made three separate trips before getting my dress. The first trip was terrible and the people were very pushy so much so that I didn't want to go back. But, having just ad a baby limited how far from home I could travel so I tried again. It was world's better the second and third time with different people helping me and great customer service. Altough it is a bit expensive, I ended up loving everything I bought from there!

The women at David's Bridal were wonderful! They were helpful when necessary but also left us on our own to browse and figure out what we wanted. We spent hours there on several occasions and were never made to feel as though we were taking up space, or anything. We had a great experience, and I got a beautiful dress at a great price. My bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother in law all bought their dresses there too, and had great service! I would recommend David's to anyone. My dress was far cheaper than a designer gown, and looks far more beautiful!

I found my perfect dress here and they were helpful with sizing and all that fun stuff. The staff was friendly and patient.

I had picked out three dresses to try on. I wanted to try them on quickly and get going (my wedding was coming up quickly and I had many things to do). The workers in the store would not let me try anything on until one of them could personally dress me. This really pissed me off. I could've been out of that place two hours sooner if they had let me dress myself!

The girls were good to work with.

I was a little disappointed with some of the selection for the sale that I originally went into the store for. I ended up spending way more than I had wanted to, even with something on sale. This was also the third time I had been into a David's store (first two as a Bridesmaid) and the others were in different locations. The saleswomen at those stores seemed a little more friendly and willing to try different dresses with different accessories, etc.

Absolutely horrible service in trying to get them to measure my bridesmaids. Made the appointment MONTHS in advance, did follow-up calls the week before, get there the day of and appointment "doesn't exist". Great dresses, semi-pricey, and HORRIBLE service!
