Barbara was amazing, very easy to work with, she understood what my vision was and made it more beautiful than I could ever imagine, she did not try to pressure me to spend more than I wanted, the flowers were the best quality and lasted through the entire wedding and reception, I had no worries or hassles at all. Barbara was amazing! She took my few ideas about the flowers and colors we wanted to use and created floral arrangements and bouquets that were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. Thank you for making our Napa garden wedding absolutely gorgeous!

The flowers were beautiful and added a lot to the ceremony and reception. We went all out and she did the works: a flower arch for the altar, centerpieces for the tables, bouquets, boutonnieres, various decorations for the ceremony and reception. My favorites were the flower pomanders, basically big flower ball pom-poms. I gave her the color scheme for the wedding but didn't have a lot things I knew I wanted specifically. She was able to take my general colors and ideas and turn it into something wonderful. I was very pleased, everything was perfect.

Barbara did an amazing job with very little to go on other than "lots of color in Fall hues." She was highly professional, created beautiful arrangements and everything was perfect. My bouquet was the most beautiful bridal bouquet I've seen!

We talked about what I wanted and she gave suggestions, was open when I did or didn't like her suggestions, and in the end....the result was so much better then I ever imagined. She took what I said and flew with it and I still get comments about how great my flowers and centerpieces were. I stopped telling people what I spent, because no one believed she could of done if for that!

Barbara was excellent. She listened to our thoughts and offered her unique touch and ideas. The flowers turned out beautifully. Simple, yet elegant and modern. True to what we wanted but better than what we could have imagined. She also did a wonderful bouquet. The price was competitive and she offered to pick up the flowers and donate them to the local hospital after the wedding.

Barbara listened to my needs and wants, and was able to deliver on my wedding day! She was able to create beautiful arrangements that fit our theme and personality. When I walked into my reception site and saw the arrangements I was so happy because they came out better than I imagined! I really appreciated the fact that Barbara was able to take my vision (with very little direction from me) and deliver without forcing me into things I did not want. A florist you can trust, that respects what you want, and that delivers. For a no nonsense busy bride, she was a floral godsend!

We hired Barbara Vakassian to do the flowers at my sons' wedding in June of 2010. the floral arrangements were gorgeous! exactly the color scheme that the bride wanted. Barbara went out of her way in creativity and special touches. All of the guests commented on the flowers and they left a lasting impression. She is concise, on time and and listens to your needs. I subsequently hired her back to do flowers for a large harvest party dinner and she was brilliant, using not only her flowers but foraging wonderful branches and fruits from our property to create a true harvest feel. It was beautiful and will hire her for all of my events, big or small.

Barbara and her husband were very professional, yet easy going. They are very flexible yet have lots of ideas. The value for the quality was extremely impressive. I would highly recommend them.
