Since our venue already had a lot of flowers, we opted for simple table arrangements, and they complemented the space perfectly without feeling overdone. We also had them add fresh flowers to our cake, which turned out beautifully. Everything was thoughtfully designed and exactly what we hoped for.

We worked with Josette from Lavender Country Garden Floral for our wedding and we are certainly glad that we did! With very little direction from us, Josette was able to create a beautiful arrangement of flowers and colors that made our wedding more beautiful than we thought possible. We only gave her the parameters of color, style, price range, and local in season flowers and she was able to create stunning arrangements. She created boutonnieres, bouquets, table centerpieces, welcome table arrangements and she created a unique and beautiful mantle display for the outdoor fireplace where our ceremony and cocktail hour occurred. The mantle was 14 feet long and she left it looking stunning!
Josette was so easy to work with and always provided us with a sense of calm and reassurance that the day would go off without a hitch. We had countless guests, both at the wedding and in the days since, tell us that the flowers were the most beautiful that they have ever seen at a wedding. We were blown away when we walked into the reception because the space looked more amazing than we ever could have imagined. Josette is professional, easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, cost effective, creative, attentive, and a true delight to work with. Josette of Lavender Floral is a SUPERB florist and she was so, so wonderful to work with in preparing for our wedding. Her website does not do her justice for the amount of attention she gave us as clients, the thoughtfulness she put into the arrangements, and the beauty of her creations. When planning for our wedding, we did not really have much in mind for flowers other than that we wanted them and a general color scheme. Josette was so sweet in her phone calls and follow-up emails in helping us figure out our aesthetic and what we did and did not want. She was never pushy—we always really felt that her goal was to help us attain our vision in a cost-effective way. For example, she and her husband were great at helping facilitate moving flowers from the church to our venue to repurpose them for the reception.


One of the coolest parts of our wedding was that our centerpieces were flowers within our color scheme soaking in holders of water at different heights. We fell in love with the idea once Josette had presented several ideas to us and it was so cool, modern, yet BEAUTIFUL. Those pictures have not come out yet, but I can't WAIT. Additionally, in a wedding full of distractions, I vividly remember stopping to admire my bouquet. I did not send Josette any pictures of ideas beforehand. Somehow, though, Josette was able to capture my dream bouquet that was better than any Pinterest I’ve browsed. I highly, highly recommend Lavender Floral!

Josette was our florist for our wedding this April, and she was absolutely amazing! Josette went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect: she spent hours on the phone with us going through inspiration photos to understand our vision; sent hand-picked ribbon samples by mail to help me pick the perfect fabric, width, and color; and even set up additional decorative items that we ordered elsewhere. Her experience and attention to detail were extraordinary--she knew exactly what flowers to recommend when I didn't know their names and was meticulous in noting every single detail in her flower plan. Multiple guests told us that the florals and decoration were so classy and well-done that it looked like a royal wedding. Finally, Josette was hands down the most transparent and generous vendor I met throughout our entire wedding-planning process. For example, when I changed the floral design for some of our tables, Josette actually reduced the price of our already competitive quote! This came ON TOP of other decorative items she added at no charge. In a world where vendors hear "wedding" and instantly bump up and obfuscate prices, Josette was refreshingly honest and caring. Her kindness and passion for beauty shines through in everything she does--from her floral designs to the way she runs her business. We were so fortunate to have had Josette as our wedding florist, highly recommend her to future couples!

Josette was absolutely the right florist for our wedding! She is a very detailed communicator and wrote up an itemized proposal that we went over several times, so we knew exactly what to expect. She went above and beyond in making the most of our budget and had many helpful suggestions. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of labeling the corsages and bringing a spare for the groom (a klutz) in case he smooshed. I thought the event space looked beautiful and she understood what we were looking for in the florals.

She is a true artist in floral arrangements and, without much prompting, made our vision come to life! She listened carefully to what we asked for, and really honed in on the details of what we wanted to make the floral decor special to us. As second generation Asian-Americans, we wanted to insert some special elements and colors into our floral arrangements without being too distracting to the overall look, and she did a perfect job in marrying these small nuances with our overall vision. Josette was amazing to work with. She provided a lot of details in the quote, so you understand exactly what you are getting. I felt that she went above and beyond to make sure our floral arrangements at our wedding were perfect. I looked to her for a lot of guidance, and she was very honest in her opinions, which I loved. She visited the venue site on her own to inform the floral designs, and was very flexible with making minor changes along the way. Josette was an absolute dream to work with! She met with me in person on a few occasions and was extremely professional, kind, and creative. My wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted! She always stayed within my budget and even saved me money, you can tell she listens to her clients and really cares about their needs and wishes. She went above and beyond, always giving me great advice/tips and looking for the perfect vases, ribbons and flowers to make my vision come true. Even when it was raining right before my ceremony, Josette still worked in the rain and made sure all my flowers and garlands were perfect, so amazing! I found Josette after pricing our the vendors our venue had recommended who all were quoting me upwards of $7-8k. Our reception was at a beautiful outdoor venue (vineyard) and I just couldn't stomach that cost. I found Josette on wedding wire. She was so quick to get back to me and jump on the phone. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for and quickly put together a quote. As our day evolved she worked with me to change and update our plan and was so accommodating. She even gave me her cell phone number so I could call her if I had any last minute thoughts during her trip to the flower market.

The day of the flowers were absolutely unreal. They were so beautiful and Josette truly outdid herself. My bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets were perfect and totally in line with my vision. The tables were absolutely perfect. She had originally told me she would do 3 small arrangements per table and ended up doing 7! They were so perfect in that they complimented the venue perfectly without being the spotlight.

Josette from Lavender Floral is AMAZING. My planner recommended her to me when I mentioned that I was looking for a VERY cheap florist. Josette was very kind in giving me her minimum ($2500) and helping me stick to it. Honestly, for the price we got flowers that looked like they cost $10,000. Josette took the pictures of my vision and spent at least two hours over two occasions talking me through it and figuring out exactly what I wanted and what flowers would make that vision happen. She is incredibly thorough and thoughtful and worked SO hard to keep me in budget while accomplishing what was important to me. She also let us store all our wedding stuff (an entire SUV full!) at her house until our planner could pick it up! She is so accommodating and kind and stayed throughout the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. She set up 100 of our DIY vases and centerpieces by hand and they were perfect! Our guests were seriously raving about the flowers too - they are a perfect mix of organized but with natural flow so they don't look overdone.
