The Arts Districy banquet Facility shut down 3 weeks before my wedding and never bothered calling to let me know. They filed bankruptcy and vacated the building without so much as a phone call or email that none of the services we had paid for would be fulfilled. We were paid in-full and have been unable to get in contact with them about getting our money back. Apparently the owner of this restaurant, Raul Orousa, opened a new restaurant in Cincinnati, OH just days after closing their doors. It is called the Rice Cooker and I would STRONGLY advise you to steer clear of doing business with them!!

I worked with Zeny and Liza as my wedding coordinators and they were fabulous! They are so organzied and make you feel like a celebrity each time you meet with them. I would definitely recommend Arts District Banquets. My wedding was very beautiful and classy. Their decor fit right in with the vision of my day.

My only complaint would be emails and response time - I accidentally received an email reminding me of a payment due for my upcoming wedding (the date was wrong!) It took 4 days for someone to call me back and tell me that it was a blanket email and the date had just not been changed. That was the longest 4 days ever!!

Overall the service was excellent, very attentive to details.

Zeny and everyone at ADBF did a fantastic job. They were on top of their game from start to finish and our reception was absolutely beautiful. We got RAVING comments from everyone on the food. It was fabulous. We had our ceremony next door a the Crow Collection of Asian Art and that was amazing as well. The wedding was everything we hoped for and we thank everyone involved.

Zeny and Christian were wonderful and the wedding went perfectly. My family wanted to place special decorations on the tables but were not allowed in the facility until 5:00pm, which was when my wedding took place (this was on a Friday). The facility offered to decorate the tables themselves for a small fee. The tables weren't exactly how my mom imagined but they were lovely.

Everything was done as we wished. It was a great location in downtown Dallas.

This was our Reception Venue. First of all this is a family owned and run operation. The owners sit down with you to discuss your reception and work out all of your requests. The food was wonderful. The chef is know all around Dallas by any respectable chef. I know this because my wife asked the the executive chef at Trader Vic's if she knew of the Chef and she did and recommended him. Ziny, one of the owners sat down with us to go through the entire reception from beginning to end, and how we wanted the layout. We had to do 0 decorating because the place looked wonderful the way it was, and we could use any center pieces they had on hand. They also lit candles for their candle holders mounted on the wall. We also were able to use their orchids for the decor. The reception went on without a hitch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Totally worth it!!! Also make sure to interview multiple places, we looked at 5-6 places. We also asked our photographer and DJ what they thought about the potential reception sights!! Since these people visit these sites every week, they can tell you the pros and cons!! We liked this place the best. Good luck with all of the hunting!!!

They were GREAT leading up to the wedding. They sat down with us, fed us samples of the food each time we came for a meeting, and listened to everything we wanted. The only problem was that we dealt with three different people at different times in the planning process and it wasn't clear who was really in charge of our event. They agreed to make everything exactly the way we wanted it and even went out of their way to put up their christmas decorations later so that they wouldn't be up at our wedding, which was very important to us. We encountered problems only when we got to the actual day of the ceremony and we were under the impression that one person would be there and be directing everything and he was not there. No one had printed out our schedule for the night that we e-mailed the week before and there was no sense of order. Then, even though we had gone over the menu several times, we discovered that they added one appetizer, shrimp, that we did not want served at our "kosher style" wedding. Also, there was a glass that broke in the middle of the reception and it took a very long time for a staff member to come and clean it off the dance floor. The food was AMAZING and the place is beautiful, I would just check with them ahead of time who will be there and who will be in charge on that day. Make it clear what your needs are for the day of and this is a great place for a wedding!

Though a little small - really for a group of 150 or less - they provide a beautiful location and incredible food for a great price. We couldn't believe everything that was included and Christian was the best contact working with us on our day.

This venue totally made our wedding!

They did an excelent job with my receptions. Everything was exactely done the way I planned it. I did not have to worry about a thing all night! Very friendly family run business!
