My husband and I are both are in STEM fields, so we wanted a place that would fit our personalities. We decided to have our reception here last summer, and we absolutely loved it! We have the best pictures from the museum - how many people get to have a T-rex in their wedding portrait!? So many of our guests loved the uniqueness of the venue. Denise was very helpful and responded to the zillion questions I must have sent her via email. There is a wall you can use to project a slideshow of pictures. Things went very smoothly. I did not realize how much staff they had there until the end of the night when everything started coming down!

We planned our wedding within 7 months, and they still had several dates available when we started looking 6-7 months away. There are some constraints that may be helpful to know if you are considering them:
-The biggest one is that setup cannot start until 5 pm since it is a functioning museum. A day of coordinator would likely be very helpful.
-There is an approved list of caterers to select from. (We chose Reata, and it was delicious!) All the invoicing went through the museum, which streamlined things a bit.
-Alcohol all comes from the museum. They have set menus for beer and wine. I somehow misunderstood and thought we could select our own local beers when we booked them. BUT they were so kind in helping us save some local ones from an event they were already having. We really appreciated it!

We had a wonderful time and are very thankful to the museum for making it happen!

We had such a great ceremony and reception at the Fort Worth Museum of Science. They were very easy to work with and reasonably priced for the HUGE space you get! Denise was great to work with in planning our day. The staff was super nice and helpful the day of the wedding and they really made setup and take down smooth. Such a beautiful space to have a wedding, we got so many compliments from our guests!

We recently had our reception at the museum and couldn't have asked for a better experience! First off, the space is absolutely amazing and is so unique. It has a very colorful and modern-look, which totally fit our personality as a couple. The venue also has a really neat courtyard, which is a nice addition. The size of the space is excellent for medium to large weddings and seems to be pretty flexible, based on whatever you need. The catering manager, Camille, was so wonderful to us and really was the main reason our reception ran smoothly. She was always quick to respond to emails throughout our wedding-planning process and was very attentive to all of our questions and concerns. What we loved about Camille from the moment we met her at our initial meeting was that she was easygoing and flexible - she made us feel very comfortable and was willing to work with us and our specific requests for our reception. She went above and beyond to fulfill our requests (from being flexible with seating arrangements to requesting a specific beer from another city, per the groom's special request to working with our vendors to make their set-up as easy as possible). What is so unique about this venue is that the catering manager essentially serves as a "coordinator" for the reception. Since our ceremony was off-site and had a built-in coordinator there, we had no need to hire a day-of wedding coordinator and everything ran super smoothly. Our guests raved about the food and the bar selection and we feel like we really got a lot of food/alcohol for our money. No complaints there! We went with the heavy h'ors doeuvres package and were very pleased with all of the food offerings. It was plenty for our guests! The waitstaff was wonderful as well and very helpful. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and made our night special. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Camille Curry was our event planner and she was a great help with menu planning and provided many ideas to help me achieve our event concept. The venue was unique and very beautiful while the food was delicious and the servers were very professional and attentive to our guests. This was by far the easiest event I have ever been responsible for organizing. We are looking at having many more events here in the future.

We held the FWCD Senior Class Video Party at the Omni on May 4, from 5-7 p.m. We had wanted a theater that could seat 300-350, was a family friendly environment, was easy to get to and could also provide refreshments.

Camille Curry was a dream to work with and extremely flexible and accommodating when our date changed from a Saturday to a Sunday venue. She also allowed our families to park in the museum lot for $3, we appreciated this discount.

It was a simple set up for us to cover four tables to pass out videos to our guests as they arrived. The staff had ample popcorn and iced sodas ready for our families to pick up on their way into the theater. Everyone had a delightful time!

The video worked beautifully thanks to Don, who I understand has worked with the Omni, and had a projector that allowed our video to show on a larger that we anticipated. What a treat!

Our committee has highly recommended to the Class of 2015 that they book the Omni for their event next May!

I recieved many positive comments from faculty ranging from the facilities to the food and presentation. Very well received! I hope we can have future meetings with you.

Camille Curry and the folks at the Museum are top notch! Great planning and organization for our SEMI-organized team of volunteers and they carried a bulk of the weight for us on a very big event at their facility. Their professionalism and customer service were awesome and very refreshing. We are hoping to use their venue for more events in the near future. Couldn't ask for better service or a better set of folks to work with in this great space.

Sodexo at the Fort Worth & Science and History Museum host an amazing event at such a creative venue.

The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service, the venue was very accommodating and met all of our needs. I would highly recommend the venue.

Everything was great. The food was delicious and Phillip was very easy to work with.
