Museum of Biblical Art offers a unique venue for your wedding celebration in the north Dallas area. Housing over 30,000 square feet of event and exhibit space, the museum provides a classic, luxurious and intimate place to celebrate your big day. There are a variety of event spaces on-site, including indoor and outdoor spaces. The museum itself was founded in 1966 as a place to display biblically-themed art. The space contains 3 museums and 11 galleries, featuring Gib Singleton, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Barbara Hines, and several more.
Facilities and Capacity:
- The Chagall Ballroom is a traditional, neutral space suitable for any decor, giving you the freedom to put your own unique touch on the space. You’ll have multiple linen colors and uplighting options to choose from. This ballroom can accommodate up to 220 guests for a seated dinner.
- The Central Atrium features arched windows, a vaulted ceiling and white walls. Ideal for ceremonies and receptions, this space offers natural light and strong acoustics. It can accommodate up to 200 guests standing for a cocktail hour or 100 guests seated for a ceremony. The atrium can also seat up to 50 guests for a seated dinner event.
- The Museum Library can seat up to 40 guests. In many cases, couples have chosen to use this space as a bridal suite.
- The Via Dolorosa Sculpture Garden is ideal for taking photos. “Via Dolorosa” refers to the path Jesus walked to crucifixion. The garden features breathtaking bronze statues for you and your guests to admire as you walk the path.

The Museum of Biblical Art is a beautiful , one of a kind venue for weddings and events. The ballroom is both spacious and attractively decorated. The staff at the museum are great to work with and will take care of setting up the room to each clients needs. The beautiful sculpture atrium is perfect for cocktail hour or pre-function space.
