Museum of Biblical Art offers a unique venue for your wedding celebration in the Dallas area. Housing over 30,000 square feet of event and exhibit space, the museum provides a classic, luxurious and intimate place to celebrate your big day. There are a variety of event spaces on-site, including indoor and outdoor spaces. The museum itself was founded in 1966 as a place to display biblically-themed art. It contains 11 galleries, the National Center for Jewish Art, an on-site Art Conservation Lab and Via Dolorosa Sculpture Garden. Artwork in the museum includes paintings, sculptures, rare books and lithographs. Featuring beautiful details, the museum aims to provide a memorable place for your wedding day.

Facilities and Capacity

The Chagall Ballroom is a traditional, neutral space adorned with beautiful details and is suitable for any decor, giving you the freedom to put your own unique touch on the space. You’ll have multiple linen colors and uplighting options to choose from. This ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests. If you’re looking for a slightly smaller space, the Central Atrium features arched windows, a vaulted ceiling and white walls. Ideal for ceremonies and receptions, this space offers natural light and strong acoustics. It can accommodate up to 115 guests. For intimate weddings or rehearsal dinners, the Museum Library can seat up to 40 people. In many cases, couples have chosen to use this space as a bridal suite. The Via Dolorosa Sculpture Garden is ideal for cocktail hours and taking photos. “Via Dolorosa” refers to the path Jesus walked to crucifixion. The garden features breathtaking bronze statues for you and your guests to admire as you walk the path.

The venue and event staff at the Biblical Arts Museum were both incredible and it made for a wedding that we will never forget. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a smaller to medium size wedding at a very reasonable cost, while still being a very first class experience.
