We used this venue for our Friday night Worship Service/Guest Welcome Reception and it was wonderful! Such a beautiful location especially at night. My guests were so impressed. Carless, the coordinator, was easy to work with and was a pleasure to meet. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again. Our guest are still raving about being able to walk the galleries at night and the auditorium was perfect for our worship service.

Looking for a beautiful venue at a reasonable cost always comes with Pros and Cons, Pros was that this venue is undeniably beautiful and at one of the best rates that I have seen anywhere in the DFW area. We were able to reserve the entire venue on a saturday, from 5pm-midnight for 140 guests including tables and chairs for less than 2 grand! They also allowed outside catering and alcohol as long as the companies had proper licensing. That being said, this is a DIY venue and since it is a public museum during the day your set-up cannot start until 5pm and you have set-up style limitations as to how you can set-up. Furthermore they can be quite difficult to get ahold of. You have to provide linens on your own, and other contracted companies will not have access until 5:00pm so in our case with a ceremony start time of 6:30 everyone was rushing, though we were told that we would have the tables put in place by 5:00pm they had yet to be set-up upon arrival. Took a team of about 15 people to make the set-up possible within that time frame, you will need outside assistance to help with set-up as you are purely renting the space. Sometimes there were some inconsistencies in what was promised to be included with the venue and what was actual included, but everything worked out in the end. Just know that all set-up and clean-up responsibilities are on you and your team so a good coordinator is important. All in all people have raved about how beautiful our wedding and venue was, so if your willing to take on the challenge this is a good bargain.

This company is very hard to get in contact with. They do not respond to emails or voicemails. I've heard so many good things about this venue. However I think its very unprofessional to have your event space listed on Wedding Wire if you're not going to be available to respond to future clients. My wedding is March 17, 2019. I have been calling this venue for 2 months straight, I am highly disappointed. What a waste of time.
