Well the cake was gorgeous and delicious. Most wedding cakes look great but taste blah or look blah and taste blah, but mine was great on both accounts. It was a VERY simple design. I sent her a picture and she recreated it. But I got many compliments on how great it tasted! Only 3 stars for responsiveness and professionalism because they are a little hard to get ahold of via email. Since I was a long distance bride, this was unsettling at times, but in the end it was fine. There on time looking great!

We had two cakes and both were absolutely delicious. Our guests loved them and the cake still tasted great after a few days. We were hesitant to pick Ambrosia because we only tried 1/4 of a cupcake at our tasting and could not appreciate their great flavor and texture. We had a very simple design and it was beautiful. Price wise, Ambrosia is a little on the higher end, but they are tasty. Overall, we were VERY, VERY, VERY pleased we picked Ambrosia to make our cake.

We had a good, but not fantastic, experience with Ambrosia. The cake was absolutely delicious. However, we had tasted and ordered a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache, and the wedding cake had so little raspberry filling that we couldn't taste it. Also, we came in with a design idea for a desert sunset cake, including fondant cacti on the bottom tier. The actual cake had no cacti, despite our specific request. Our guests, however, didn't know what the original design was and thought the cake was beautiful. If we had to do it over again, we would still choose Ambrosia, but we would follow up more than once to confirm our design and flavors (which would take effort, since Jaynie, the owner, is very nice but difficult to get a hold of).

Can't say enough. This was the easiest decision for us to make after meeting with Jeanie. She was so warm, friendly, creative and her cakes are awesome!! We also did a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner and it came out beautiful as well. I loved my wedding cake. I knew what I wanted from what I saw in magazines and when I walked into her shop, there it was! Great customer service and amazing cake!!!

The cake tasted fantastic. I was not overly impressed with the design but it tasted fantastic and that is far more important to us.

I can't say enough great things about Ambrosia! I was very anxious when we started looking for our wedding cake. I am allergic to milk and wanted a delicious and beautiful cake. Ambrosia made a dairy free cake for me that was completely milk free and everything I asked for! The best part is the guests loved the cake! No one knew it was dairy free. We received tons of compliments on the look and taste of the cake. I highly recommend everyone talk to Ambrosia when you're looking for a cake!

Ambrosia made a very delicious cake for my wedding. Everyone kept talking about how good it was. Jaynie is a very sweet lady, but a tad bit difficult to get a hold of, but I understand that she is a very busy lady. The only compaint I have is that she did everything I asked for, except for putting shimmer on the cake. It was the most important thing I asked for and the only thing she left out. Other than that, it was a great cake and more than enough for everyone!

The cake was not what we had designed in our meetings. It was missing many details and the flavors were not what we had picked. It was very disappointing.

The most delicious and gorgeous wedding cake!!! Even the fondant was yum. The cake itself was gorgeous. I would not use any other bakery in town for a wedding cake. Ambrosia is the best!

Jaynie at Ambrosia made us the most delicious wedding cake we could have ever asked for! All our guests kept commenting on how delicious it was, very moist, loaded with flavor and the most amazing buttercream frosting ever. During the planning process, she was sometimes difficult to get ahold of but it all worked out in the end and I couldn't be happier. I would absolutely recommend Ambrosia to any Arizona bride!

Our first impressions of them were very good. They were lovely to work with and the cupcakes that we sampled were wonderful and our favorite part, the frosting, was incredible! Once we received the cake it was okay. Unfortunately it was very dry and the frosting was barely present. It was very disappointing that even after we repeatedly told them that our favorite part was the frosting there was barely any on the cake. We were told, and even tasted that they pride themselves on the homemade quality of the cake, however that quality cake was not delivered on our wedding day. We would not recommend this cakery to be used for your wedding day but if you want a little something i would recommend the cupcakes for a simple little Sunday treat. Please consider your cake person carefully and take heed to these reviews. I really wish that we had gone a different route or could get some of our money back. we have some leftovers but sadly we are not that excited about it. :( They were very nice, though until they believed that they hadn't recieved payment which I mailed to the Ambrosia address. The day before the wedding they called and said they weren't going to do the cake so I gave them my credit card. It turns out they just hadn't checked their mail (I sent it a week and a half before) so she gave me my check back. It may have been an off day for them but it is sad that their off day was our wedding day.

Jaynie is absolutely wonderful! The cake was FANTASTIC!!! Beautiful and delicious! It was an absolute dream come true. Jaynie is the sweetest, most easy going person in the world (perfect for worried brides lol). I personally think it would be crazy to get a cake anywhere else!

First of all the cake was absolutely delicious. Beautifully constructed. No complaints there at all for the product itself. Now as far as the cake maker, she never returned any of our calls, she lost our 100 dollar deposit (for the plate the cake went on in case we didn't return it). Personally I don't like the idea of having my bank account information lost and just floating around somewhere. She had an appointment we went to but she had double booked and so we had to wait almost an hour and a half just to talk with her. At that point it probably would have occured to me to choose someone else but we were on such a time constraint that we kept her as our cake artist. I would recommend the cake, but not the artist. Hope this helps anyone considering her.

If you want a stunning, beautiful, gorgeous, delicious cake, Jaynie is your lady! From the moment I met her, I knew that no one else could do my cake but her! My husband and I themed our wedding on a painting and asked Jaynie to recreate the painting on the cake, which was a tall order! When I saw the cake for the first time, I cried. It was the most amazing cake I have ever seen and we got SO many compliments! I didn't even want to cut the cake because it was so beautiful! Jaynie is absolutely the best!
