Additional Questions and Answers

Q) What’s the difference between a restroom trailer and a portable toilet?
A) A restroom trailer offers a completely different experience for the user. There are private stalls, real flushing toilets and sinks in vanities with mirrors and lights. Restroom trailers typically need more space, but come in all sizes and furnishings.

Q) Why should I consider a restroom trailer for my event?
A) A restroom trailer offers the maximum level of comfort and pampering for your guests. It’s like the restroom in a fine hotel. Nobody has any hesitation using a restroom trailer.

Q) What size restroom trailer should I get for my event?
A) The answer to this question depends on many things about your event. The number of guests, the ratio of males to females, the duration of the event and the amount of food and beverages that will be served are all factored in. If your event is a performance with an intermission or other peak use periods this needs to be considered too. Your best bet is to call a United Site Services Event Specialist who can help you determine just what is necessary.

Q) Do I need water or electricity to have a trailer at my event?
A) Trailers require electricity to run their lights, heating, air conditioning and pressure pumps for water. While trailers have different requirements, the larger models usually require two 30 amp circuits. In remote locations you can use a generator to power the trailer. Many trailers are completely self-contained for their water supply, but some require a garden hose hookup and others can have a greater capacity with a hookup. Our Event Specialists can work with you to find a solution for what is available in your location.

Q) How much does restroom trailer service cost?
A) The cost of renting a restroom trailer varies by the size and style of the trailer, the season and your location. When you order a trailer from us we will tell you the price up front with no hidden costs. Our price will include delivery, setup, supplies, waste disposal and pickup at the end of the event. We can also supply an attendant who will keep the restrooms clean and stocked with supplies throughout your event.

Q) How far in advance do I need to reserve my restroom trailer?
A) Our trailers are very popular and are often reserved a year in advance. Popular dates often sell out early. It is best to reserve your trailer as soon as you have your date confirmed.
