Terry and I have worked with Kayelily at several weddings and I must say she is the best you can and should hire! I have attended weddings in which the officiant forgot the names of the couple or simply went through the motions with no emotion or voice inflection, but that has never been the case with Kayelily. Kayelily obviously takes time to get to know the couple because her ceremonies are captivating! She really gives wedding guests a sense that she has known the couple for years. She is very professional, personable, has good voice inflection, is sincere, and you can always hear her even in the back of the ceremony hall. I would recommend Kayelily Middleton to anyone and everyone!
We have photographed countless weddings officiated by Reverend Middleton. Kayelily goes out of her way to make each wedding special and seems to make a real connection with the couple and their guests. One of our favorites to work with!
Everyone loves Kayelily! Caring and professional, she goes all out for her couples. Love to refer her!
I've had the opportunity to work with Kayelily and must say that she's one of my favorite officiants! She has an amazing blog that details the stories of each of her clients and you can tell she really takes the time to get to know them. To me this is a sign of someone that cares deeply about what she does and is the true mark of an outstanding and trustworthy wedding vendor. I'm looking forward to working with her again soon!
I have known Kayelilly since 1999. I have referred her countless number of times for clients who want a great personalized service that reflects the two people involved. When it came time for me to remarry, all it took was a meeting with her and my wife to be and she was thrilled to have kayelilly officiate. I not only consider her a master at her craft, I consider her a very good friend, and I encourage each of you that explore the options to explore kayelilly's unique services and offerings. Frequently Asked Questions for Officiant
What officiant services do you provide?
Interfaith Ceremony, Non-religious Ceremony, Single Religion Ceremony

What religious affiliations do you serve?
Baha'i Faith, Buddhist, Christian (no denomination), Christian - Baptist, Christian - Catholic, Christian - Episcopalian, Christian - Lutheran, Christian - Methodist, Christian - Presbyterian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
No

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
I perform weddings wherever the couple want--even did one in a lake once! I officiate weddings in gardens, hotels, homes, restaurants, my wedding garden, resorts, churches and chapels, historic estates, B&Bs, plantations, in the woods, public parks, etc.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
My couples are encouraged to create their own ceremony from my large collection of ceremony material and are free to modify words and import material from other sources such as books and the internet to make the ceremony uniquely "theirs."

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
I encourage my couples to make their ceremony uniquely theirs which includes writing their own vows. I send them examples to get them started. They can even write secret vows to be heard for the first time on their wedding day! Or they might find the perfect words in my collection of words for vows and rings.

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Couples are free to import readings wherever they find them. I have a compilation of readings that I email them that keeps on growing ! Every time I see a new reading, I add it to my collection. There is scripture plus poems, Native American stories, quotes from children's books, funny poems, romantic poems, etc. You name it--it is probably in my collection which is presently 66 pages.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No, but I do highly recommend it if the couple is interested. My Marriage Optimization program consists of a comprehensive inventory they take on line, then we meet for 3 sessions to go over the relationship profile that is generated by their answers. It is very comprehensive and covers over 20 different areas which are necessary for the relationship to be happy and satisfying. Most couples spend thousands of dollars on just their wedding day and very little if anything preparing for their marriage. The Marriage Optimization program is a very wise investment in their future.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
Yes. If there is more than one attendant each in their wedding, we will need a rehearsal to make sure everyone knows how to stand, where to stand, how to enter, what to do, how to exit, etc. A rehearsal is recommended to make sure the wedding ceremony flows smoothly.

Additional Questions and Answers
What is my fee?

This is a very frequently asked question! My answer is that I have no one set fee for all weddings. My fee varies depending on what services I provide, how far I travel to your wedding site, and if you are having a rehearsal.  If you have more than 50 guests and the music for the ceremony is provided by musicians, rather than shouting in your faces to project my voice to your guests, I will provide my professional sound system (Fender Passport 150D, Shure receiver, Countyman E6 theater microphone) to amplify my voice and any readers so that ALL your guests can hear the words of your lovely ceremony that the three of us have spent considerable time and care creating together. If a DJ is providing your ceremony music, I plug my receiver and mic into his system. Bottom line is that I am unable to determine my fee until we meet and/or I get all the details for your wedding.  My fee is consistent with other experienced ministers in the area.
