Eva was one of the reasons why our wedding went PERFECTLY! She was our day-of-coordinator and going with her was the best decision we ever made. She was suggested by our venue and once we started talking, she was incredibly helpful with excellent communication skills. She helped us build our timeline so that every detail accounted for. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she coordinated with all of our vendors and relieved so much stress for us. But her true skills shined during the wedding day. My now husband and I were a bit hesitant about having our venue require a day-of coordinator, but little did we know this would be such a HUGE part of our day going so smoothly! Emily Katherine Events is the best decision you can make to ensure your dream wedding comes true! We met Emily at a wedding open house at The Cookery and were drawn to her passion for bringing sustainability to weddings. After booking EKE for our wedding, we were notified that Eva would be helping us. Initially, we were slightly apprehensive since we had not met Eva yet. Oh my goodness... if only we could have gone back and told ourselves we had absolutely no need for uncertainty. Eva was amazing from the get-go - infinitely organized and the consumate professional, Eva brought experience and knowledge and quelled any nerves we were feeling about being prepared. We chose to go with day-of coordination services only, so we were relieved by the time Eva showed up to get us on track and ready to walk down the aisle. In hindsight, we wish we would have gone with full or partial planning services, because we totally trust Eva and wedding planning was a lot more work than we were expecting. At our final details meeting, Eva asked so many detailed questions, we could really start picturing exactly what our wedding would be like. On our wedding day - Eva kept everyone on track and we were right on schedule the whole day! Eva was so cool, calm, and collected and was such a confident presence to have around! Special shoutout to Eva's wife Emma that brought us all of our passed small bites from cocktail hour while we finished up couple photos. It's like Emma and Eva knew exactly what we needed at any given time. Cannot recommend EKE enough - they are the easiest decision you can make when it comes to wedding planning!!

We hired Emily to help plan our wedding in 2017. She was newer in the field then, but it was the best decision we made! She did so much to help, and for such a reasonable price. I wanted to be involved in every decision, but she did all the heavy lifting in terms of researching options to bring my vision to life, getting quotes, and helping to identify a whole lot of things I would have missed. She also saved us a lot of money by referring us to vendors who were super skilled & professional, but way cheaper than most I would have found myself. So grateful to have hired her for our wedding! I have only wonderful things to say about Emily Katherine Events! I worked with Eva and she helped me through everything!!! I got so much advice and support throughout the wedding planning process. My wedding day was mostly outside with 150 guests but everything went so smooth because of Eva and I had such a stress free day. Everything felt organized and on tract. I had a lot of decor but the set up looked so beautiful. I was a super nervous bride but the team at Emily Katherine Events did not let anything fall through the cracks. They made my timeline, communicated with my vendors, worked with the venue, set up a walk-through one month out, and made sure I didn't miss anything! Working with this team was one of best experiences and put me at so much ease. Definitely recommend to anyone planning an event, do not hesitate to book !!

Eva was the wedding coordinator for our daughter's wedding. She was amazing! From the quick response time with emails to efficiently handling multiple moving parts, Eva was calm and effective. She was ready to assist or to take the lead when needed. Eva was an absolute dream to work with and I will forever be grateful for her help on such a special day!

I always tell people now that if I can give one piece of wedding advice it's to hire a full service planner. The most important caveat to this is that you hire Emily to plan your wedding. I know it sounds hyperbolic, but do whatever you can to work with Emily. She's already booked on the date you want? Pick another date. Seriously, she is that worth it.

We started working with Emily in the early Summer of 2021 for our Spring 2023 wedding and bought her full service planning package and it was easily the best money we spent on our wedding. Over the course of nearly two years she was extremely connected, communicative, and on top of every single detail. Her connections in the industry really showed through with every other vendor we contracted with as they were all genuinely excited to be working one of her events.

I cannot overstate how excellent it was to work with Emily. The amount of time, money, and stress she saved us by hearing our vision, connecting us with and handling the best possible vendors we could imagine, and realizing every final detail of the plan is something I simply can't put a price on.

Her team is phenomenal, too. All of the outstanding work from Eva and Emma on our wedding day (and before) was the linchpin in making sure our wedding went off without a hitch. If anything went wrong I had no idea and their hard work kept the day extremely organized in such a way that we got to focus on us and go into the day knowing that everything was going to go great.

It's funny looking back on everything now because people always told us that planning a wedding is hard. To be fair to them I'm sure they're right, but I wouldn't know because working with Emily not only made the whole experience easy, but an absolute joy.

Not only was she organized and great at coordinating with our vendors, she went above and beyond to be a cheerful and calming presence leading up to and on our big day.
