About this vendor
Ceremonies by Alex, a wedding officiant, are based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm Alex Cheek, and I perform weddings all over the South. Though I'm an ordained, nondenominational Christian minister (not some phony online "ordination," which is legally unable to perform weddings in North Carolina and Virginia ), I conduct both non-religious and religious ceremonies. I've performed over a thousand weddings, so I completely understand what makes a memorable and enjoyable ceremony.
Experience
I worked in radio for many years, and my voice keeps people engaged and seldom requires a microphone. I custom-craft each ceremony to fit the exact needs of every client. I've also spent time performing on stage, so I know how to deliver my "lines" with style and grace while keeping everyone's focus on the real stars of the show—the couple getting married. I regularly perform weddings in Spanish and have performed portions of ceremonies in nine other languages.
