Phenomenal Occasions by MDT opened for business August 22, 1998. From April 1998 to August 1998,
I had the opportunity of coordinating my first wedding; which happened to be a good friend of mine. After
the wedding, I kept receiving positive comments about how well organized the wedding turned out. Once I reviewed the videotape, I couldn’t believe it. I had just coordinated my first wedding and it turned out successful. The Lord revealed my “Gift”. I decided to branch into the Consulting business on a part-time basis. A few months later, a representative from The One Book (now The Yellow book) contacted me about advertising my business.
As of August 1999, I have been advertising in The Yellow Book under the Party Planning Guide and Wedding Services Guide. As a result of this, I have received numerous calls concerning Birthday Parties, Holiday Parties, Weddings, Corporate Functions, Employment, and General Questions. On August 12, 2000, I coordinated my second wedding; which turned out excellent. As I continue to study and learn more about the consulting business, I am being blessed with more and more weddings.

Tips and Advice
Testimonials From Previous Clients
My husband and I worked with Mona in 2003 to plan our wedding in Maryland. It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated and positive person. I've heard horror stories from brides about how their wedding coordinator gave them poor advice or didn't listen to their concerns. This was definitely not the case with Mona. She was very attentive to our needs and budget. I would recommend her to my closest friends!
Rachel and Kevin Powell (May 3, 2003)
Working with Mona was a God-send. While we thought we were making great headway on our own, having a professional to provide resources was a huge asset. The vendors were great, from Dannie and Denise, of NuLevel Caterers, to Gemma our floral artist, Tammy our make-up artist, right down to Estelle, our expert invitation lady, to our dj, DJ Sinbad. The whole day went smoother having Mona on hand. She is organized, but goes with the flow, and gets fabulous results.
