I will be the one shooting your event, with the standard caviat of fire/flood/locusts/wrath of g_d type events.

Never. As a small studio, I thrive on the personal relationship I build with my clients.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
I ALWAYs have a backup. You will have an opportunity to review my backup's portfolio prior to your event.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Professional Nikon digital imaging. At least two camera bodies, numurous wireless flashes and lenses specific to the environment.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
ALWAYS. I shoot with at least two camera bodies, redundant lenses and flashes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
It depends upon what the client's needs are. I work one on one with my clients to stretch their budget.

If shooting for more than 6 hours, yes, a meal break is required and provided by the host. This is typically during the guests meal period, when there are few great shot opportunities.

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
It depends upon the event. Outdoors in the hot sun, maybe 5 2 minute breaks to drink some water.

Beyond 1 hour from Nassau County.

Forever. The couple owns the proofs.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, with a personal use license to the couple. They can have the images printed as often and where ever they like. I do feel the labs I use offer far better results than they will receive at the local drug store and I am happy to offer recommendations.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Generally, although I do verbally ask the couple in advance of a specific magazine's interest in publishing them.
