Hi, I’m Misty! I photographed my first wedding at 17, and I’ve been photographing weddings ever since. Nearly 30 years later, I still feel incredibly honored to do what I love — capturing real moments, big emotions, and the beauty of connection. Today, my team and I photograph around 50–75 weddings and events a year, with over 1,700 under our belt so far. In addition to that we also do about 30-50 sessions a year.

I was born in Nebraska but raised in sunny Florida — where I live just outside of Orlando in the cozy little town of St. Cloud. I’m a proud foster and adoptive mom of six amazing kids, and I share life with my sweet rescue pup, Bella.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive some recognition, including being voted Best Photographer in Central Florida by WESH 2 A-List, being inducted into The Knot’s Best of Weddings Hall of Fame, and receiving the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award every year since it began in 2011. But more than the awards, it’s the trust of each couple and client that means the most to me.

I’ve photographed everything from celebrity events to quiet, intimate destination weddings — and every single one reminds me why I started in the first place. My work has been published in national and international magazines and featured on popular wedding blogs, but what I care about most is making people feel seen, celebrated, and confident in front of the camera.

In addition to photography, I’m also a longtime educator. I’ve led one of Florida’s largest photography communities and have taught workshops across the country. I’m especially passionate about posing and human connection — and I bring that expertise into every shoot to help my clients look and feel their best.
