Yes, we can provide the Ice Cream cake of your choosing including tiers. Great for the wedding or the grooms cake!
If a bride decides to bring her own wedding cake, do you have a cake cutting fee? If yes, how much is the fee?
We leave the cutting to the venue so we can concentrate on serving your guests with their choice of ice cream at the ice cream station.
Are you licensed to sell alcohol? If yes, where are you licensed?
We do not handle any alcoholic beverages.
Do you allow outside alcohol? If yes, what is the corkage fee?
Do you provide rentals for items such as linens and flatware?
Are you able to provide your own wait staff?
We provide the staff and equipment necessary to service the ice cream station.
What is your maximum catering capacity?

Can you provide custom cups or signage? YES, we can provide cups personalized in many different ways. We can also provide signage for the station that can be customized with a message to your guests or simply commemorate the occassion with your names and date.
Is there a minimum? Yes, depending on the service you select there is a 50 or 100 serving minimum.
Can you handle the 500 plus guest I will have? ABSOLUTELY. We specialize in large weddings and will adjust our staffing and equipment to accomodate your guests in a timely manner!!
Can you come to my venue? We are pleased to service the Houston metroploitan and outlying area. Call to discuss your location outside of Houston. We sometimes travel well outside the area and only ask that you cover the expenses involved. You may want to confirm that your particular venue allows outside vendors. Once you give us the information we will coordinate with the venue so that it is worry free for you!
How is your staff dressed? We leave that up to you. We can do casual up to the tux shirt and bow tie. We look forward to our first themed wedding!!
If I choose the Portable Slab package does that mean you will actually mix my ice cream the same as in the store? ABSOLUTELY. That is the Marble Slab experience.....
How far in advance can I book? That is entirely up to you. Although we suggest booking as soon as you confirm the date. Unfortunately due to our personal presence at your wedding we can only handle a couple of events on any given day. Reserve your date so that you know you will have us there.
How do I book my date? Call our office to work out the details of your event. We can book your date over the phone with a deposit.
How can I reach you if I or my planner need to talk to you? You can always call our office, come by the store or email any general questions, information or concerns that need addressing. When you book your event you will also have my personal cell number so that you can reach me at any time!!
How do I plan for the number of servings I will need? This is something we can discuss with you or your planner when you book your wedding. Some information for thought. Due to the popularity of Marble Slab Ice Cream and the fact that having premium ice cream catered at your wedding is a new concept that hasn't been over done yet, we typically serve between 85 and 90% of the expected guest number.
How long is your service time? We will work closely with you to determine the appropriate amount of staff and time needed to take care of your guests. On rare occassions we do ask for additional fees. For example if you need us to set up and be ready to serve a while before we actually serve or need us to stay after service to maintain the integrity of the setting.
Can you handle an outside wedding in August? SURE... There are some factors we need to consider so call and discuss that with us. We have served many outside events thru the heat of Houston summers. We also have a full service climate controlled catering trailer we can use if your situation needs it!
What are your payment terms? Depending on the service you choose we ask a $100 or $200 deposit at the time of booking. Then the balance can be paid anyway you like. A little along the way or all at once. We only ask that the balance be paid in full 15 days prior to the wedding.
Do you calculate the charges by flat rate or servings? All events we handle are charged on a "per serving" basis with a minimum number of servings determined at the time you book your wedding with us. This is the simplest way to ensure you get the value for your dollar.
How do I control my budget if you charge "per serving"? Don't worry. If you choose you can cap the number of servings at any number above the minimum that you like.
How do I pay? We accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Payment can be handled over the phone or at the store.
Put faith in your planner and vendors!! They will get the job done. YOU GET MARRIED!!
