Wedding Musicians in Houston

We are happy to recommend the musicians and music of the original Houston String Music ensembles. Their String Quartet and String Trio have played many time for our Open Houses, Receptions, Christmas Parties, etc. for many years. We are sorry that we never wrote a Review before this but highly recommend these musicians as they are very pleasant to work with, reasonably priced, and very professional in their appearance and manner and of course are very punctual.

Harmony Strings was absolutely AMAZING!!! Melody was so patient with me from Day 1 right up to Date 424, the day of the wedding!! They learned a few songs for us early on and even learned one at the last minute that my mom requested the week of 😟! They are the definition of going above and beyond for their client and are oh, SO TALENTED!!!! We were honored to have them be the background music of the most special day of the beginning of the rest of our lives!

My husband and I looked into a string quartet for our wedding and came across Fine Arts Strings during our research. I am so glad we got to work with this team. John was easy to chat with when we discussed the type of music for the prelude and they played our ceremony song choices beautifully. I highly recommend Fine Arts Strings as they are extremely talented!

We hired Scott Graham to play piano at our wedding, and he was incredible. He played beautifully during our ceremony and set the perfect tone for the moment. During cocktail hour, he brought great energy and skill, keeping the atmosphere lively and fun. Scott can literally play any song you throw at him, which amazed us and our guests. He was also extremely professional throughout the process. His music elevated our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented pianist!

My wedding reception was one of the biggest, most difficult to manage because there were about 700 guests in one large banquet room. For Sandra’s harp to play over the talking crowd, she was able to work with our DJ to amplify the sound. The music was calming and beautiful and I could actually hear the toasts as I was visiting each table. It gave rest to my ears from the loudness going on all day. There was another confusion that happened in the middle of her performance: an MC that my mother had hired without telling me came up to me and asked if he could cut the harp show short and start the karaoke. I was not in the right mindset at that time and quickly replied with “yes sure sure but let her play again after a few karaoke songs”. Time passed by and I didn’t get to see her on stage again and I was furious at the MC. However, I didn’t want to keep her waiting on the side any longer and said she could go home if that was better. Through all this, Sandra kept her calm and she was very understanding. Even though her performance was unplanned to be short for us, for her to bring a real harp and let everyone hear just the tip of what a harp can do was such a blessing. I highly, highly recommend Sandra for your event and I hope she will be able to play for you peacefully with no interference.

I can't tell you how many people told us how amazing Judith did and how beautiful her voice was. We hired Judith for our ceremony and she really made the day so special. She is incredibly talented and learned a few country songs for us, but more importantly she was genuinely one of the sweetest people to work with. Our last song "Take me Home Country Roads" became a sing-a-long and brought the wedding to life! The only downside was that we didn't get to hear any of it since we were in the back rooms. Thank you, Judith!

Best decision I ever made was to hire a bagpiper for the ceremony music. It was the touch everyone will remember!!

Having Abigail and Luke play at our wedding ceremony was the most wonderful experience during our special day. Their music turned the church into a much warmer place, it made all the ceremony a lot more special and made us cry many times of emotion including some of our guests who expressed us how beautiful their presence was. We recommend them without any doubt.

They did a wonderful job playing at our wedding in January! I absolutely loved the combination of flute and guitar for a different spin on the liturgical music than most weddings we've attended. We also had a neat combination of opening instrumental music for when the guests arrived. Pat was great at coordinating with us. Very friendly group of people. I give 5 stars for sure!

María Daniela has the most angelic voice you could dream for your special day. She adorned our ceremony with various songs, from popular to classical and her vocal range is exceptional. She was also very professional and flexible in accommodating our wishes for the ceremony. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vocalist, you will not be dissapointed.
