We had a string trio for 60 minutes, which included 30 minutes of pre-ceremony cocktail music and our processional and recessional songs for the actual ceremony. They showed up timely and played our songs exactly as we had imagined.
After signing our contract, they sent us their repertoire to choose our songs from and it was very diverse and extensive! They have a lot of experience playing both classical pieces and string covers of modern songs. We had the option of either picking the exact songs to play or giving a few examples and letting them set the song list. We picked the specific songs we wanted for the ceremony but just gave a general vibe for the pre-ceremony music and they absolutely nailed it! Having the live music aspect to our wedding ceremony made it feel so special.

Thank you Amy and team for such a wonderful experience! The harpist we had at our ceremony and cocktail hour was so talented. My vision of walking down to the Young and Beautiful harp cover came to life. Such a magical evening!

First off, I want to thank Third Floor Strings and Amy, for being gracious enough for accommodating the postponement of our wedding due to COVID-19. They were very understanding and did not penalize us for having to move our date.

Amy was responsive and courteous when it came time to have our ceremony. The musicians that arrived were all excellent and very talented. Things changed at the last minute and they were able to go with the flow in regards to who walked in the ceremony.

I also loved that my guests were able to walk into the venue as they were playing. It really added that extra touch of elegance to our day that I so desired.

My only regret is that I didn't get to enjoy the beautiful music as much since I was the bride. I also wish I walked a little slower so I could hear them play my song as I walked down the aisle.

Overall, they provided an amazing amount of value and I absolutely would book them again and highly recommend them to anyone else looking to add a string quartet to their day.

Third Strings was awesome! They came and performed their job wonderfully. We had to postpone our wedding once in February due to the crazy snow storm Texas got hit with, and they were great at communicating and flexible when it came to rescheduling for our new August 14th date. They had no issues with getting the venue on time and played beautiful music! Any questions we had they responded quickly which is really appreciated when emailing 10+ vendors. They were amazing you won't be disappointed.

We had a cello and violin duo play music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They played beautifully, and it really added a special element to our ceremony. They can play a large variety of music from worship and classical music to contemporary songs. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have live music!
