From day one of meeting her at her bakery, she’s been wonderful to work with!! She took my ideas and made them into the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen! From the sampling she offered to the final product; working with her has been a blessing. I was in awe when I saw my cake!! It couldn’t have been more beautiful and delicious!!! She was so helpful when she took the flowers I had bought (that were wrong for the cake) and reassembled them to work and look absolutely amazing! She gave ideas on how to tote it perfectly from Magnolia to Austin! Gave extra frosting as well as hand made pedals should they get damaged on the way. Such a blessing! Don’t look anywhere else! I even had her do my daughter’s graduation cake because they are so yummy!

My cake was everything! Kathy really captured the vision and executed it perfectly. everyone absolutely loved the pumpkin spice with cream cheese filling along with the chocolate mocha raspberry 10 out of 10 recommend

Kakes By Kathy created a stunning and delicious three-tiered cake for my graduation celebration, and it was so much more than dessert. From our very first meeting, Kathy made me feel as though we had known each other forever. She was not simply making a cake; she was helping me celebrate a deeply meaningful milestone. Kathy’s cake sample presentation was impressive, and every flavor was so delicious that choosing just one felt impossible. In the end, I selected a different flavor for each tier, and each one was perfect. Kathy also made sure the cake thoughtfully reflected my alma mater, Sam Houston State University, which made it even more special. Seeing it at my celebration filled me with happiness and pride, and our guests loved it so much that they eagerly asked for seconds. I am deeply grateful to Kathy for the care, creativity, and heart she put into making the cake such a memorable part of my graduation day.

If you're looking for a wedding cake vendor, I cannot recommend Kathy enough! She was hands down THE best vendor we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and organized, which made everything so easy and stress-free. As for our wedding cake, it was absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly what we had envisioned and looked stunning on our wedding day. It also tasted amazing! Kathy did a different flavor for each tier, so we were able to try everything we wanted. The raspberry cheesecake filling she suggested was a hit with our guests, and we received many compliments on how delicious the cake was. If you're considering booking, do it! There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to Kakes by Kathy. From the very first cake tasting, we knew we were in the best hands. The tasting itself was such a special experience, everything was beautifully presented with so much thought and care, and every single flavor was absolutely amazing. It made choosing our cake and cupcake flavors nearly impossible because we loved them all!

When we saw our wedding cake on our wedding day, it honestly took our breath away. It was everything we had envisioned and more, and the cupcakes were just as beautiful. But as gorgeous as they looked, they tasted even better. We had countless guests tell us they were the best wedding cake and cupcakes they had ever had, and people were still talking about them long after the night was over.

Kathy is incredibly talented, kind, and such a joy to work with. She made the entire process feel effortless and truly cared about making our day special. It’s rare to find someone whose work is both stunning and unbelievably delicious, but she exceeded every expectation we had.

Mrs. Kathy was a joy to work with. Her "cake kitchen" was beautiful when we came for our consultation. She is funny and really nice. The cake was so good. The guests just gobbled it up! Her pricing is reasonable and she is prompt and on time. We definitely recommend her services.

Not only was the cake beautiful it was delicious. We had chocolate filling in one layer and raspberry cheesecake in another.

Kathy was one of the vendors included in our venue package, but we would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a cake artist. The cake turned out amazing, and the process of selecting the flavors and design was very smooth. We were able to try out several different flavors of cakes and fillings, and she walked us through several different options for the design after she heard our style preferences. We went with almond cake with raspberry filling as well as lemon cake with butter cream. Both were amazing, but the almond was everyone's favorite.

Best wedding cake I ever ate! Maybe be best cake ever!! Everyone loved it!
