From day one of meeting her at her bakery, she’s been wonderful to work with!! She took my ideas and made them into the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen! From the sampling she offered to the final product; working with her has been a blessing. I was in awe when I saw my cake!! It couldn’t have been more beautiful and delicious!!! She was so helpful when she took the flowers I had bought (that were wrong for the cake) and reassembled them to work and look absolutely amazing! She gave ideas on how to tote it perfectly from Magnolia to Austin! Gave extra frosting as well as hand made pedals should they get damaged on the way. Such a blessing! Don’t look anywhere else! The cake presentation was absolutely stunning and the flavors were even better! Ms. Kathy gave us a wonderful experience and did everything we asked. Amazing service

Let us start off by saying we absolutely love Mrs. Kathy! Not only does she bake DELICIOUS cakes and makes them look absolutely beautiful; she’s very professional & worked with our budget! She provided more than enough tastings for our cake tasting. She took the time to hear what our vision was and explained everything to us. Once we told her what our budget was, she definitely worked with us and made our dream cake come true within our budget. Kathy was very easy to work with. She made our vision for the wedding cake come to life.
Excellent price & quality cake. Our theme was whimsical fantasy & purples. She did an ombré white to purple palette design which came out beautifully. We ordered a two tier with cream cheese buttercream icing, top tier was lemon & the bottom was almond. Both were delicious & all of my guests were raving about it afterwards!Kakes By Kathy's reply:

Triple Winning Combo.
Kathy was wonderful with my daughter, creating her beautiful wedding cake when the bride didn’t even know what she wanted. Kathy was patient and offered great ideas. The wedding cake was Beautiful, Flavorful and lower in cost than I ever could have imagined. She did 3 layers, all different flavors and designs. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I would highly recommend Kakes by Kathy! From my initial inquiry to delivery on the Wedding day Kathy was great to work. She was very responsive to any emails I sent asking questions. On the left side of photo is what we asked for (3 tier only) and on the right side is what Kathy made for us. It was absolutely beautiful and taste amazing so flavorful each layer was a different flavor. Kathy was such a great communicator and creator throughout this whole process. The tasting at her home office was so welcoming and tasty as well. Pricing was fair and well!! Kathy will forever be our go

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding cake from Kakes by Kathy! From the very first consultation to the big day, everything was flawless. The design was exactly what we envisioned—elegant and perfectly matched to our theme. We opted for a three-tier cake with white, chocolate, and red velvet layers, and each one was a hit!
The flavors were outstanding—moist, rich, and not overly sweet. The chocolate flavor, in particular, was a crowd favorite. The cream cheese and cheese cake filling was smooth and light, and the floral details on the bottom tier of the cake were absolutely stunning. I loved how Kathy was able to incorporate the pearls on the top 2 tiers just like I wanted.
Delivery was seamless, and the cake arrived in perfect condition. We received so many compliments from our guests and they’re still talking about how yummy our cake was!

I met with Kathy and explained my vision for the cake. We want a simple but elegant cake. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind. The day of the wedding when the cake was delivered delivered and set up we were in shock. The cake was absolutely gorgeous!! It exceeded our expectations. During the reception multiple people commented on how beautiful our wedding cake was. After the wedding I posted wedding pictures on Facebook. Once again we received numerous compliments on our wedding cake. I would highly recommend Kathy. She is a highly skilled professional! I loved how the cake turned out! I can’t review the taste as I didn’t get a chance to try any. But I had lots of people rave about it. She was super friendly and responsive to all my messages. The cake was delicious and what I'd expected aside from a color miscommunication on the edible leaves, the price was budget friendly. We had a 3 tier with anniversary cake on side for around $600 with all having filling in each tier of cake. Kathy is an amazing person! She was so kind and helpful! Her cakes are all delicious! I am not a big cake fan mostly due to the icing always ingredients being too sweet but the icing that she uses is not too sweet and she has a cream cheese buttercream frosting that is just delicious. Our cake flavors were guiness with raspberry cheesecake filling and strawberry with chocolate ganache filling and they were both soo perfect! Best Wedding Cake Ever!
Kakes by Kathy made my daughter’s wedding cake, and I am still swooning over the delightful experience. At first glance, the cake was a visual masterpiece with intricate detailing and impeccable design of a floral arrangement. My daughter showed Kathy pictures of what she liked and what she wanted her wedding cake to look like and Kathy did not disappoint. My daughter’s wedding cake looked better and more beautiful than any pictures we saw. Kathy added personal detail to the cake by adding figures of my daughter’s beloved pups. Each tier was a canvas of perfection adorned by beautiful flowers that mirrored the wedding’s romantic floral theme.
We opted for a four-layer cake with different flavors for each layer- classic vanilla and rich chocolate with a heavenly raspberry filling. The first bite was a revelation. The cake was moist and airy, a testament of the quality of ingredients used. All the guests loved the cake in fact, one guest helped himself to 5 pieces.
The service provided by Kakes by Kathy was equally commendable. Kathy was professional, attentive, and ensured that the cake was delivered and set up flawlessly at the venue. Kathy also provided instructions on how to preserve the top layer so my daughter and her husband will be able to enjoy this delicious masterpiece on their 1st year anniversary.

Beautiful and Delicious on top of Accommodating
We had a last-minute change to our elopement plans and had 3 weeks to plan a small but special ceremony. Kakes By Kathy was not challenged a bit by our last-minute need even though it was peak wedding season, and she had many others that particular weekend.
The cake was beautiful, she made great suggestions I hadn't thought of, and we received many compliments on how good it was. I'll definitely use her again for future events.

I am so glad that we choose Kathy for our cake vendor! She was very welcoming & friendly to us the moment we entered her shop. From our initial consultation Kathy took out the time to show me what each individual color would look like on the fondant and worked with me to achieve my vision. My Husband who is not usually a sweets fan enjoyed her cake which was a humongous shocker to me! She was also very reasonable with her pricing compared to other vendors in the area. She is amazing! We absolutely loved our wedding cake and grooms cake. They were exactly what we wanted. Not only did they look great but they tasted just as good. Highly recommend Kathy!! She had us over for a tasting where we got to mix and match samples and fillings and view some of her previous work. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and delicious. Guests were commenting about how wedding cakes are usually not great but ours were so moist and amazing. She absolutely nailed the grooms cake as well. Wouldn’t change a thing.Kakes By Kathy's reply:

Kathy is AMAZING! She perfectly accommodated my husband’s food allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, & sesame) and both of our cakes still tasted amazing! She has models and pictures of cakes to look at to help you visualize what your cake will look like.

Great experience!
Kathy is the BEST! She made us a beautiful cake that tasted wonderful— my only regret was that I should have eaten more of it on my wedding day! She has plenty of experience baking and it shows in the quality of her cakes. She also provided cupcakes for our tasting with the flavors we considered and had plenty of model cakes and stands to help us decide what we wanted, all of which was very helpful. One of my favorite parts of our wedding!
I was a very indecisive bride when it came to the wedding cake style I was wanting but Kathy spent so much time showing me different sizes and options! She was incredibly knowledgeable and truly wanted to make my vision come to life! I was unsure of the exact flowers to add on my cake and she helped me hand select each piece! She was always responsive to any questions I had! The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better! Our cake became one of our favorite details of our wedding because it was so perfect! If you want people to love the cake so much they take photos of it during your wedding then I would definitely recommend using Kakes by Kathy!Kakes By Kathy's reply:

We schedule a cake testing with her and fell in love with her cakes (which says a lot about the way she makes her cakes because both myself and my fiancé aren’t huge cake people). Kathy was wonderful to work with. We did a couple different tastings and after hers we knew who would be doing our cake. She let us choose several cake, icing, filling options for the tasting and they were all delicious. She had tons of pictures and foam cake samples for us to look at. She was helpful and creative. We met with Kathy at our venue’s open house. We then emailed flavor ideas and she went above by among cupcake flavor combos. Everything was delicious and beautiful! We even ordered strawberries for the grooms cake but there were extra the day of the wedding and she left them for snacks while we got ready on the bridal suite!
