semi-formal to formal. we will gladly match colors of your ceremony.

Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?

you can come to any of our live performances. please inform us that you are coming so we can put you on the guest list if there is a door fee.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?

yes, up to 6 songs with 6 weeks notice.

How much time do you usually need for setup?

40 min to an hour for a large band

How much space do you usually require?

depends on the size of the band

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?

some talk in-between songs. MC arrangements can be made for additional fee.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

standard hour/set is music for 45-50 minutes & round out the hour with a break; yes

Do you play recorded music during your break?

can be arranged

If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?

there are always plenty of professional musicians in my 'Rolodex' who i know as good substitutes

What is your overtime rate?

$130/musician/hour, in 15 minute increments

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

$.50/mile after 50 miles/vehicle, one-way. if venue is 50 miles or more from musicians' home & the music ends at 9:30pm or later, night accommodations are needed for the band.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

50% cash deposit with signed contract to hold date

Q: My Aunt Margaret does a wonderful rendition of "Melancholy Baby". Can she sing with the band at the event?

A: You, as the sponsor, can guide us. We are committed to providing the highest quality performance. If Aunt Margaret can come to one of our rehearsals, we'd be happy to allow her to sing it with the band. If the request is "spur of the moment" and we can play the song, we will ask you to make the decision.
