The absolute highlight of our wedding was Black Crystal Wolf Kids. To this day, everyone mentions how fun our wedding was because of the live band. They were so easy to work with and truly cared about our special day.
They worked with us on an ideal set list and shared their suggestions. We even had them play our first dance song live, which was incredibly special for us.
If you've seen this band live you know that they crush the whole indie rock setlist aspect. In planning their setlist for our wedding, they also added in a handful of 70s, 80s, or 90s songs to make sure that everyone was dancing and having fun. And they did.
The band had so much fun onstage and that energy resonated to all of our guests. Massive thank you to these guys for such an amazing experience!

My wife and I are so happy we had the Black Crystal Wolf Kids play at our wedding. In a year where it seems like everyone is getting married, they helped make ours truly unique and memorable. Most of the comments we got after our wedding had to do with how amazing the band was.

Social media videos do not do enough justice showing how fun and incredibly talented this band is. They nailed every song from Take On Me to Lose Yourself. On top of this, they were so nice and went out of their way to practice and play all the songs we requested from their huge catalog of songs.

If you’re like my wife and I and looking for a band that can play something other than the top 40 hits that every other wedding band and DJ plays, the Black Crystal Wolf Kids are THE band to book!

BCWK made our wedding the dance party of our dreams! We've sang and danced along to their shows in both large and small venues, so having them play at our wedding was a no-brainer. The entire band was professional and friendly, and brought high energy straight through to the last song. We cannot recommend them enough!

We went to watch BCWK play at a live performance at a bar DTLA and we were hooked--we knew we had to have them play at our wedding! From the very beginning, Jeff was very easy to work with, answering any questions I had and responding very quickly. He was very accommodating and professional during the entire process! BCWK played our ceremony music, during cocktail hour and wedding reception. They even learned our ceremony music with less than a week before the wedding! Our guests are still talking about how much fun BCWK was! We are so happy we chose BCWK to perform. Do yourself a favor and book them NOW!

We can't say enough great things about Black Crystal Wolf Kids. We decided early on we wanted to give our guests something truly fun and unique with out choice of music and these guys absolutely rose to the challenge, even with some of our more obscure and unconventional song choices. Put it this way - I've never been to another wedding where a third of the guests left asking for a copy of the set list, have you? And when we had to make some last minute changes to the venue set up because of rain, Jeff and the team's flexibility really saved our day. Now we're members of the Wolf Kids cult for life.

TL;DR: Black Crystal Wolf Kids were incredible. We love going to concerts and this was like having an actual concert at the wedding, not just some generic highly polished wedding. Massively enjoyed by every guest.

As the groom, my only job was finding the band, and I know with complete certainty I nailed it beyond expectations by stumbling upon Black Crystal Wolf Kids (pats self on back). The wedding was months ago and our guests are still raving about BCWK.

There was a large group dancing all night and the energy was incredible, and their repertoire is very unique to all the other blase wedding bands we came across, which was a huge plus for us. We also hired three of the band members to play some jazz during cocktail hour, we highly recommend that as well!

Jeff (band member and the main point of contact) was super flexible and accommodating. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were on the same property but different sites which entailed us having some special technical requests but they were no problem for them to handle, and Jeff said they always bring a sound engineer when playing weddings which is a huge asset. They arrived early to make sure everything was feasible from a technical perspective (in addition to the frequent communication with ourselves and the venue in advance, of course).

Prior to things kicking off I was a little nervous about the level of volume for the guests of a certain age, but this turned out be nothing to worry about at all and everyone was very comfortable.

They really went above and beyond - one of the band members even learned "Time After Time" on acoustic guitar to play along with one of my little cousins singing the SAME DAY AS THE WEDDING. My sister in law was supposed to learn it apparently, but I guess she got sidetracked.

So in conclusion: super responsive, super helpful, super fun - five stars, couldn't recommend more.

We hired Black Crystal Wolf Kids for a Bar Mitzvah our company was planning. Hands down the best band we have used. We will definitely use them again, without hesitation. So professional, easy to work with, very fair price and the kids and parents loved them. After seeing BCWK perform at Pappy & Harriet’s, we knew that we wanted them to play at our wedding before my husband had even proposed. After finding our venue, our next priority was to book BCWK. Thankfully, Jeff responded in under an hour and that was that. Jeff continued to be very responsive, friendly and professional throughout our months of planning. He met with us at the venue before the party and offered to learn a few new songs that were special to us. And as if we weren’t impressed already, Jeff went through our Spotify playlist (to be used when the band wasn’t playing) and removed all of the songs that they were going to play, so there weren’t any repeats. Needless to say, we were all huge BCWK fans before they even arrived at our wedding. And boy oh boy did they not disappoint on the actual day. We are not exaggerating when we say that they absolutely made our party the best it could be. They had everyone dancing and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how awesome they were. Hell, I couldn’t get myself off the dance floor because I didn’t want to miss any of their songs. It was the best night of our lives and we would highly recommend them for any of your party needs!!!

On the day of the event, our toasts went long and we were stressing out about losing dancing time because of that. The band volunteered immediately to play both their sets back to back with no break -- it was so generous and saved the reception! When they started playing, a huge wave of energy and joy flooded the reception. People got up and danced and didn't stop for 2 hours. BCWK were fun and celebratory and completely fit with the vibe of everything a wedding reception should be. We can't recommend them enough!
