Meet the Artist... 

Julie has been practicing makeup artistry for her entire life.  Whether or not it was truly beautiful when she began playing with her mom’s makeup at the age of four, is another discussion.  But, the lifelong love of beauty and the fashion industry led her to officially begin her career in the this profession in 2003. 

Julie has been a regional artist for several cosmetic companies including Nars, Laura Mercier and Estee Lauder.  A licensed professional in the state of Maryland, Julie decided to extend her knowledge and skills in the art of Makeup in 2005.  At that time, she packed her bags for New York City to attend the prestigious Make Up Designory (MUD).  There, she studied fashion, beauty, and special effects makeup artistry. 

Since then, Julie has returned to her roots in DC and has become a top wedding makeup artist in the area.  Julie works individually with each client to determine their everyday style, type of wedding, and makeup needs to suggest the best look for the bride and her wedding party. 

Providing the most tailored looks and service, Julie understands that each bride is different and will create looks that bring out your best, but still look like you.
